. Alvi felt his patience had started to reach the limit.

Avril stopped from crying, she refused to turn her head or at least glanced at Alvi.

Avril knew very well that Alvi was not wrong. Like Aldi, Alvi is in the same position. No, obviously Alvi strongly refused. And if it happens that the bond between the two families, Alvi may show his dislike.

"Which one?" Tanya Reno tried to remember anything Alvi said before leaving.

"Who has Avril helped? Helping the person who finally won his happiness?" Reno understood with the intent of those words.

"Just be clear. Avril almost died from drowning. If there's no Aldi, I don't know what it is right now, I can still see Avril or not"

"You mean?"

"Avril helped Amel when Amel was about to fall into the lake. Avril swapped herself and drowned."

"W-how could he? Is Avil really afraid of water? Even this is the reason why this house doesn't have a pool."

"I don't know Demi. But that's how it happened. And now I really hate Aldi. He only thinks about his brother. "Miss Avril has been very ill since 2 days ago. His body temperature did not decrease even though Mr. Noah had given him a heat-lowering drug. Even Miss Avril was just lying in bed." Obviously aunt.

"What pain does bi?" Ray asked worriedly.

"The pain is just a fever, but the blood pressure is so low, that the lady can't just sit down. His head is always dizzy. That's what the lady always said when I took care of her."

"Thank bi. Then I'll go to the hospital." Ray said politely.

Ray then drove to the hospital. As he was about to ask Avril's name, Ray saw Noah and approached him.

"Did Alvi tell you?"

"How is he doing? Is he still in that room?"

"Yes sir."

"If he keeps going like that, I'll make sure he catches up with Avril here." Noah squinted his forehead.

Then Noah takes Ray to Avril's room. There were many people who were none other than Nadia, father, Galih, Reno, Bagas, and Demira.

Ray stared at Avril's extremely pale face and looked like a corpse but was still breathing in his sleep.

"He's okay Ray?" Ask Dad who was responded to silence by Ray.

"I don't know if Mr. Alvi is okay or not." He answered after a few long breaths.

"I'll be there this afternoon Ray." Nadia took the initiative to meet Alvi this afternoon. And make an appointment with Ray first. To anticipate if he was expelled by the security who was at the entrance.

"Master did not accept the match, but he did not refuse either. I feel something strange about his decision." Ray's words made Reno stand up from her seat.

"Please see Mr. Alvi." Ray opened the door for Baren.

Upon entering, Baren is surprised by Alvi's sharper-than-usual eyes.

"Where did you find them Ray?" Shouted Alvi before Ray closed the door.

"On the roadside, sir." replied Ray.

"You fucked up Alvi." Said Reno walking towards Alvi's desk.

"Ray lied. He said you're okay." Said Bagas sitting opposite to Alvi.

"It's my work clock." Alvi said opening sheet by sheet a file in his hand.

Baren stared at the faint face of Alvi who looked lethargic. His sharp eyes now looked shady.

"Have you eaten?" Ask Bagas who is worried about Alvi's condition.

"I'm not hungry." Alvi replied suddenly becoming cold.

"How many days have you not eaten?" Reno asked looking at Alvi's face which, if viewed carefully, looked pale. Alvi did not answer, just glanced at Reno and then refocused on the file.

The atmosphere was suddenly awkward, and silent.

. "So? Are you really going to be betrothed to Amel?" Reno asked, looking down, as if avoiding eye contact with Alvi.

"Obviously not." Alvi replied casually like there is no burden of mind.

"What is clear?" Bagas frowned in wonder, and digested what Alvi had just said.

"Forgetit." Alvi said later.

"Even he didn't see me at all. Though I'm sure he knows I didn't come home 4 days." Mumbled Alvi slightly gripped the paper in his hand.

Baren let out a long sigh to Alvi who looked busy, ah no, but trying to get busy.

"alright. Me and Bagas just want to make sure that you're okay." Reno spoke up from her seat.

"Well... You guys just stopped by for a second?" Alvi put the file on her desk. Staring alternately at Baren, as if to say 'don't go first. Stay with me here longer.'

"You lonely?" Ask Bagas who is still sitting.

"Not really. But isn't this your first time here? Why rush?"

"No Alvi. I have to pick up my mom, and then go back to the hospital." Reno glanced at his watch.

Alvi frowned trying to guess who was sick.

"Ahh you're right Reno. I'll go to the hospital first." Bagas followed Reno who was near the door.

"Jaga kesehatanmu Alvi. Don't be so stubborn as Avril." Reno said before closing the door.

Alvi felt tightness in her breathing when she heard the name Avril. Honestly, he missed Avril so much right now. But with the fact that Avril did not meet, or even find out, Alvi began to doubt Avril's feelings for him. And more convinced that Avril really no longer want to be in touch with him.

. Ray enters Alvi's room.

"Sir...."

"What's up, Ray? You want to ask for a leave?" Ask Alvi who remains focused on a document.

"Ti-no sir..."

"Then?"

"Sa-I just wanted to ask."

"When's your pay going up?"

"Not sir..."

"So?"

"Are you sure you'll be engaged to Miss Amel?" Alvi did not answer as if she had not heard Ray's question.

"Didn't you want to see Miss Avril?" Ray continued hesitantly asking despite knowing Alvi would be a little angry.

"Are you wrong to ask? You even watched it yourself. When I didn't come home for 4 days, Avril never once saw me. Do you know Ray? Before that, he said that he hated me. So maybe it's pretty clear that I shouldn't expect Avril anymore." Firmly Alvi who held back was annoyed.

"But sir..."

"What else Ray? Never mind. I'm dizzy, you better get me some medicine."

"Good sir."

Ray let out a long breath.

"How can I tell you about Miss Avril's condition." Ray muttered leaving Alvi's room.

. As promised, Nadia met Alvi at the agreed hour with Ray.

Nadia enters Alvi's room, and finds Alvi lying on the sofa.

"You're sleeping?" Alvi glanced towards the source of the voice.

"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're worried about me either." Alvi then woke up and sat leaning back, clearly holding back the pain in her head.

"Indeed yes. And there's one thing I want to make sure of." Nadia sits across from Alvi.

"What?" Alvi closed her eyes

"You sure you're leaving Avril?"

"I didn't leave him."

"And you're gonna tell me he asked you to leave him? Didn't he? And you're following?"

"Why are you Nadia?"

"I why? Yaahhh I was worried about your condition not coming home for 4 days. But as soon as I saw her in person, I concluded you were pretty fine after leaving my sister and making her seriously ill." Nadia moved from her seat and walked away from Alvi.

Alvi opened her eyes wide. Ingesting Nadia's sudden speech made her heart and head ache simultaneously.

"What do you mean Nadia?" That question was enough to make Nadia stop before opening the door.

"You don't know? Didn't Ray tell you?" Alvi got up to catch up with Nadia, but the headache was enough to make her fall to the floor and unconscious.
