CH 63'S. Lost

Alrico looked at his assistant with a sharp look. The news brought by Diego made him completely unhappy.

"So someone has gone before us" he said in a sharp tone.

"really. It seems like the Bernard family has another enemy."

"You're sure this guy's Bernard's enemy? Not Catalina Seymor's enemy?"

"I'm sure, Sir. Catalina Seymor's life is clean. It was different from Bernard's family. I'm checking there was a tragedy about ten years ago that caused Alissia Bernard to be shot to death."

"Our men are still following them?"

Diego nodded his head. "I think this will be beneficial for you. You don't have to dirty the hand of kidnapping Miss yourself to exchange her for Miss Marylin. You only need to make an offer to the Bernard family, exchange this information for the cancellation of the Marylin Seymor contract. Afterwards, force Marylin Seymor to accept your contract."

Alrico Lucca looked at Diego with a big smile.

"Then what else are you waiting for, Diego. Sort everything. Make an appointment with Claude and Joanna Bernard."

Diego nodded, then immediately withdrew from before his master.

Alrico lifted up and opened a file in front of him. In Diego's investigation of Marylin Seymor, they discover the fact that the woman had a different sister's mother. Catalina Seymor lives with Bernard's family. The girl he saw at the restaurant, who was sitting next to Marylin and the girl who came to Natalia Ambroz's engagement that night in a claude Bernard troupe.

He spoke to Joanna Bernard at the party. Offering compensation for removing Marylin. The haughty woman stared intently and instead asked the veiled intent she had on Miss Marylin. He was at a loss for words and with a loud laugh Yoana Bernard immediately replied that he would not be able to get close to Marylin Seymor.

Alrico then plans to kidnap Miss Catalina, forcing Marylin Seymor to come and accept her offer. That woman would save her sister, right?

Alric had even prepared contract cancellation compensation for Bernard's company if Marylin accepted his offer to release her sister.

But fate seems to be on his side. He didn't have to kidnap Catalina. He simply exchanged with Bernard and Marylin's families with important information that they would surely like to know.

Vincent arrives at the mansion with Joanna who is crying silently. The woman was sitting on a chair in the hall with a face as pale as cotton.

They realized Catalina and a bodyguard who had been with her had disappeared. Another guard said he saw them coming down. After checking in, they found Catalina's grocery bag lying in the ladies' room, then not far from the corner of the hallway to the toilet, their bodyguard lying down. His head seemed to have just been hit hard.

But Catalina's gone. Vincent has already contacted Blaird, telling him of this latest development, realizing with wrath that this must be Rodrigo's job.

Claude came down from upstairs and saw his brother crying. He saw Vincent talking quickly through a cell phone while going back and forth around the hall.

"Yoan .. Why are you crying? Where's Catty?" Claude glanced outwards. He finds out from Nanny that Catty went shopping with Joanna.

"Claude ...." Joanna was crying harder. Claude frowned

"What's the matter exactly?" tanyanya.

"Catalina is missing Claude. I'm having Blaird check all the cctv footage at the mall. We have to wait ...."

Claude looked up at Vincent.

"It's not Rodrigo, is it? Catty had nothing to do with what happened ten years ago" Claude said.

Vincent, who was silent, made Claude limp. He sat in a chair near Joanna.

"How ...."

The sound of Yoana's phone ringing made them all look at each other. Joanna immediately picked him up when she saw the number Catalina was calling her.

"Hello Yoana .. give it to Vincent!" the man's orders. With wide eyes and trembling hands, Joanna reached out her phone to Vincent.

"Un ... for you, Vince," said Yoana, fear coloring her voice.

"It's me!" said Vincent coldly.

"Ah, hello Vincent! Long time no see."

The greeting made Vincent shudder, he immediately remembered the voice of the man who invited his aunt out of the elevator. A voice that seemed to pique his instincts.

"What do you want, Rod!"

"You know, Vincent! I want Yoana Bernard! I'll let Leonard Bernard's mother live as long as you exchange her for that woman. You have only 48 hours to think. I'll call you back after that."

Then the phone died. Yoana looked at Claude's shocked face, unable to say anything. His brain began to understand what had happened.

Not yet Vincent thought, his phone again rang. This time it was his phone that Rodrigo had contacted, not Yoana's.

"What else are you babing**!" maki Vincent's.

A moment of silence on the other side, before a man's voice cleared his throat and then spoke.

"I'm sorry if I called at the wrong time, Mr. Vincent. I'm Diego Baldassare, Mr. Alrico Lucca's assistant. We have important information for you regarding Miss Catalina Seymor. For that my Master would like to meet Miss Joanna and Mr. Claude Bernard in person. Of course it would be helpful and expediting your goal to find Miss Catalina Seymor if you were to bring Miss Marylin and Mr. Serge to this meeting."

"Don't tell me you had anything to do with this kidnapping! I'll destroy you!"

Diego had to keep his phone out of his ear when he heard the scream. Vincent's voice had changed to that of another man. Diego guessed it was Claude Bernard.

"I'm sorry, sir. I'm just Mr. Lucca's assistant who contacted Mr. Vincent as your liaison. Our man happened to see the abduction of Miss Catalina and until now followed them. We know exactly where you can find it. But of course with the terms of Mr. Lucca. That's why he wants to meet you and Miss Joanna. You guys are racing against time, right? I think the sooner you agree to Mr. Lucca's terms, the sooner you can save Miss Catalina."

"Good! Tell place! I'll come!"

Diego mentioned the place his master had prepared.

"Don't forget, sir. Bring Miss Marylin and Mr. Serge, too."

With that last speech the conversation was interrupted.

"Don't tell me this guy is connected to Rodrigo!"

Vincent shook his head at Claude's angry words.

"No. I've been investigating this man .. I've already passed the data to you."

"Follow it! Meet him! He just wants Marylin. I don't know why" said Joanna.

"Then call Marylin! Now too! Force him and Serge to go see Alrico Lucca!"

With that one command Claude turned around and went upstairs. He changed his clothes and prepared himself to meet Alrico Lucca.
