Embrace Love's

Embrace Love's
CH 44'S. Rainy night

Claude climbed up the steps of the lodge followed by Catalina behind him, then he pushed the door of the hunting lodge which was still standing firmly in the forest. The dark surroundings made him step slowly towards a shelf in the corner of the cottage. The cottage only has one room large enough, used as a resting place when the hunting season arrives.

Rainwater dripped from Claude's clothes onto the wooden floor. Catalina did not move, she did not want to make all the floors wet by going inside. He just stood by the door.

Claude found what he was looking for. A storm light and a lighters.

"Thank God ..we will not be dark tonight" he said.

A yellowish light shimmered within the cottage. Catalina gazed at the shelves of various items on the left side, then a fireplace on the right side with a pile of wood in the right corner.

Claude put the lamp to a small table in the left corner. He inspected each shelf and took out a few blankets, then approached Catalina.

"Catty .. There's nothing more we can do. Something got Vincent off the hook and I'm pretty sure he didn't do it on purpose. We'll find our way back after sunrise tomorrow."

Claude was eager to pull the already trembling girl in, but Catalina had to overcome her reluctance. He should know they had to stay here.

"So .. will we stay, Claude?" tanyanya rasp.

Claude nodded. "Yes, Cat. Ii'm sorry. It would be very dangerous if we force it back tonight. You see out there? It's really dark and it's still raining." Claude pointed towards the door that was still open. Catalina turned her head outside, and the surroundings were already completely dark, if there was still a hint of twilight, it was now completely engulfed by darkness.

The cold air blew into the hut, making Catalina shiver.

"Cat .. please, we have to close the door. You're freezing. Dry your clothes, use this blanket. I'll start the fireplace soon." Claude held out a blanket taken by Catalina. Afterwards Catalina simply stared at every move the man made in the dimness of the yellowish light. Claude closed the door, locked it, then turned to the corner of the room and turned to Catalina.

The man undressed at the top, the sight of the male's back muscles nailing Catalina's eyes, making her hold her breath looking as Claude dried the shirt he was wearing by twisting it, making the muscles move in a yellowish glow, water flowed between the wooden floors, and the man threw his clothes on the corner of the floor. Then the sight of that back was covered by a blanket that Claude developed onto his shoulder, the man then lowered his head, from his movements Catalina knew ... Claude was taking off his lower clothes.

Catalina was panicking. He turned back to Claude and shivered.

"Catty?" The wonder-tone in the voice made Catalina gulp. He cleared his throat before answering in a soft voice.

"Yes ..," he said.

"Why haven't you taken off those wet clothes. Your lungs could get inflamed! Use that blanket, Cat! We can hang it in the cottage, hopefully tomorrow we can wear it back even though it is still damp" Claude explained.

Catalina who was still silent and turned her back to make Claude frown, he stepped slowly towards the girl.

Claude held onto Catalina's shoulder and turned the girl's body to face her.

Claude's eyes looked into Catalina's blue eyes that looked scared.

"Cat .. I promise, we'll be safe here. I promise I won't do anything either! We'll just stay here until morning. You need to take off your clothes, cover your body with that blanket, Catty. You can get sick .. Remember, Leonard is waiting for you." Claude set his voice as soft as possible, he watched as the girl gulped and replied.

"Ba ... okay, but .. you have to turn around" Catalina said. He glanced at the blanket Claude wrapped around his waist, the upper part of the man's body not covered.

Catalina moved quickly while still watching Claude with her eyes. He removed the blouse and thin camisole he was wearing, then squeezed it until the water absorbed there was reduced. After she picked up the blanket, covered her entire body and began to turn around, Catalina took off her sneakers and threw them into a corner, then pulled down her jeans.

He felt towards his underwear which also felt wet. But Catalina won't open it.

Let it go, it will feel cold wearing it, but what can you do. His whisper in his heart.

After squeezing all of her clothes, Catalina placed the clothes on the floor. He pinched the blanket in front of his chest, covering his entire body up to the tip of his foot. His lips were trembling, the fire Claude made in the fireplace looked very seductive, it would be very comfortable sitting there and warming himself up.

"Where can I hang my clothes, Claude?"

Catalina's question made Claude dare to turn his head. He looked at the girl in a blanket. Claude arranged another flannel blanket on the wooden floor of the cottage, then spoke to the girl.

"Sit here, warm your body. You shiver, let me take care of our clothes." Claude stood away, deliberately to get Catalina to come closer.

He took a rope on the shelf, tied it from one side of the wall to the other and began to spread their clothes on the rope one by one. Dipping water is seen flowing through the sidelines of the cottage board floor before finally falling to the ground below.

Catalina sat down with her knees bent, she held the blanket that wrapped around her very tightly, as if afraid that the blanket would sag or come off. His eyes looked towards the fireplace, the dancing tongues of fire providing warmth that began to spread to Catalina's body.

Claude glanced, the body no longer shaking as before, he was grateful Catalina obeyed him, eager for Claude to hug the girl when he saw Catalina's lips and body shaking withstanding the cold. But he knew Cat would get more scared, so he quickly made a fire.

Claude sat down by the shelf, unfolded his own blanket and wrapped himself in it. The best way to keep the girl feeling comfortable. Being in this forest already frightened Catalina, Claude was unwilling to add to it with discomfort due to his presence, hence, he sat away from the fireplace and the girl.

"Claude?" the inquiring tone of Catalina's voice entered her hearing.

"Yes?" answer's short.

"Why are you sitting there. Sit here, so you can feel warm." Catalina's words made Claude look up, he looked into Catalina's eyes covered in shadows, then turned to look at the flame that teased him with the warmth he would have given him when he approached.
