Embrace Love's

Embrace Love's
CH 37'S. Make feel better

Bruno stopped the car in front of the mansion, intending to get down and open the door for Claude, but the man had already gone down first, then turned around and opened the door for Catalina.

"Thank you" Catalina said, squeezing Claude's coat over her shoulder. He walked slowly into the mansion, letting Claude walk ahead of him. As Claude climbed the stairs to the 2nd floor, he realized there were no sounds of Catalina footsteps behind him. He turned his head and found that the girl had disappeared leaving the hall towards the lounge. Claude frowned and finally turned around, walking slowly following where the girl was headed.

Arriving at the wide door leading to the pool, Catalina continued walking, then stopped and sat down in a lounge chair. The girl was silent at first, but her shoulder movements that seemed a little bit clumsy later made Claude believe that Catalina was crying.

Claude frowned, puzzled by what action he should take. Back when he was with Tania, the girl sometimes grieved and whined, Claude just needed to give him a card, so that the girl could go shopping whatever she wanted and wanted. But Claude is confident that will not apply to Catalina. The girl would become very upset and offended if she did that.

As Catalina's shoulder seemed to shake so hard that the suit that had been draped over her shoulder sagged, Claude finally got the idea to cheer the girl up a little. Catalina really likes warm chocolate, maybe the drink will be able to make the girl feel better.

Catalina looked at the sparkle of the water inside the pool with melted tears. She was very saddened by the words Marilyn had spoken to her in the dressing room at the party. Catalina felt her sister was right. He was angry at himself for not figuring out his brother's situation at all just for fear of approaching, afraid to see the hatred in both of Marilyn's blue eyes.

The resentment is spread by Stella, Marilyn's mother who hates Catalina and her mother.

Catalina once asked her mother why she never tried to make Catalina and Marilyn close like sisters. But his mother's answer made him quiet. His mother said that staying away and keeping their distance was the best thing they could do. Her mother felt pity because hatred and disappointment made Stella Marilyn's mother become depressed. There was nothing more that her husband could do to treat her broken heart.

Catalina recalls sometimes her mother cried when telling about Stella who did not improve after Catalina's mother decided to end her own marriage, so that her husband returned completely to Stella. But the woman was unmoved, her hatred had already left her mind blank and could no longer turn around as it was.

The recitation of a mug filled with steaming warm chocolate made Catalina turn her head. He was surprised to see Claude holding the mug and extending it towards him.

"Drinking this might make you feel better" Claude said slowly. Catalina wiped off her stream of tears and accepted the mug. He brought the mug closer to his lips and began to sip.

"Enak .. thank you," whispered Catalina

"You like it?" Claude felt very happy to see Catalina again sipping. The girl really likes warm chocolate. It's not free that it's been scanning Catalina's habits all along.

"I like it so much, it's all fitting." Catalina smiled showing a grateful face. His stomach did feel bad because since going to the party, he had not eaten anything. The warmth of the chocolate drink tasted good on his stomach.

Claude smiled widely, he knew his face now might seem like a fool. The girl praised her homemade chocolate, and she already felt like she was flying.

"Do you like chocolate?" ask Catalina while sipping back.

"No," Claude answered succinctly, realizing Catalina's troubled face was gone and changed with a happy face. The girl had completely stopped crying.

"Then do you like coffee?"

Claude shakes. "No" he replied again.

"What's your favorite drink? You must have, right? Something you like the most."

Claude was silent and thought as he looked towards the pool. Catalina glanced when she did not hear the answer.

"Will not tell me? Wh why? Is it because what you like is an alcoholic drink?" Catalina raised her eyebrows looking at Claude.

Claude looked up to hear the question. "No Paint. I drink as necessary, even if there is business. I don't like being drunk."

"That's great. So, what drink do you like best?"

Claude answered by shrugging both of his shoulders. Catalina chuckled amusedly at Claude's flat face, the man refusing to answer.

"Thank you, I feel better now" Catalina said suddenly.

"Don't tell me why you were ...." Claude played a finger in front of his two eyes, gesturing in tears through his movements.

Catalina smiled shyly. He shook slowly.

"No, I'm just a little emotional. But again thank you. Thanks to you I feel better now" he said, patting Claude on the shoulder. After that he passed by carrying a mug glass that still contained half it back into the mansion.

Claude looked at the sparkling pool water with a wry smile. The girl thanked him, then patted his shoulder softly as if they were friends. The clap of a friend ... Claude took a deep breath. Well, at least the girl was willing to make friends, not irritated or upset when interacting with him.

"Slow progress ...," whispered Claude impatiently.

Catalina sees Leon still asleep, and Nanny says the baby has just woken up and has finished off a bottle of milk. Catalina smiled in satisfaction and told nanny to rest in her room. Afterwards Catalina returned to her own room and changed clothes. After washing his face, he returned to Leon's room and sat down next to the baby box.

"Hello, honey, Mommy met your mother, she looked so beautiful. You miss her?"

Only the silence of the room answered Catalina's question.

"She didn't ask you at all Leon, I'm sorry Mommy, her life must have been so hard, that she chose to forget that she had a family, had a baby ...." Catalina is back to sobbing slowly. His outstretched hand held the fingertips of the sleeping Leon. Afterwards Catalina closed her eyes, put one side of her cheek on Leon's mattress and felt a little calm with her hands intertwined with the baby's plump fingers. She continued to cry silently until she finally fell asleep next to Leon's bed.

Claude intends to peek at Leon who must have fallen asleep, but when he opens the door, he finds Catalina asleep next to the box with her hands holding Leon's fingers. Claude stared and guessed the girl was back in tears when he saw traces of tears on her cheeks. Claude shook Catalina's shoulder, he tried to wake her up. He did not want the incident when Catty hit him first repeated again.

"Cats ... Catty," call Claude while shaking Catalina's shoulder. The girl moved only slightly and did not wake up.

"Hey Cat .. You have to close the fence box." Those blue eyes are still closed. Claude took a deep breath. It seemed like Catalina was so tired, the encounter with Marilyn made her not stop crying. Claude finally stepped up and opened the connecting door of the room, then returned and pulled Catalina so that she could put up the side safety of Leon's bed, then Claude held Catalina who remained soundly asleep.

"Just look if you wake up and hit me back!" threaten Claude in Catalina's ears. But his voice was only greeted with a slow murmur. Claude smiled and immediately stepped through the connecting door to the girl's room.

Claude put Catalina on the bed slowly. Then put a blanket over the girl's body.

"Hmmm .. I can ask for my gift, right? I've been nice, made you warm chocolate and even moved you to bed."

Claude looked down and tried to kiss the girl on the lips, but when her lips were about to land, Catalina moved so that her lips only landed on the girl's cheeks. Claude waited with his heart pounding, thinking Catalina was awake. However the silence of the room made her straighten up and look at Catty's face which seemed to be not disturbed at all.

"So it's only on the cheek?" Claude smiled amusedly.

"Alright .. You got away tonight. Good night Cat" Claude said as he stepped out of Catalina's room through the connecting door. He checks on Leon again before stepping out to return to his own room.
