CH 47'S. Vincent's past
Joanna stared at Vincent's bandaged right shoulder, and they all decided to gather in the living room, where there were few windows and a concrete wall.
There had been no more shots since the last shot before the black sky rolled down a torrential rain accompanied by lightning and the sound of thunder. Vincent believes the shooter is gone, but he and his guards remain alert.
"Sleep, Miss," said Vincent.
Joanna sneered at the words. Realizing Vincent must have deliberately called her Miss again.
"Return to Miss, Vince?" his lips. Hamilton and Simon chuckled, though anxiety still lingered on the faces of the two.
Vincent did not respond, he looked around from the couch where he lay. They had to wait until morning. Additional people and helicopters will come tomorrow to pick up and secure the family. In the meantime they have to hang in here. Bad weather outside is hampering aid.
"I hope Claude and Catalina are okay" Yoana said.
"Don't underestimate your sister, Yoana .. she'll be able to cope tonight. Tomorrow we'll pick them up" said Hamilton optimistically.
Yoana looked towards Nanny and Leon who were asleep with a thick carpet pad and blanket piled on the floor. With a sofa or chair around.
"Sleep near Leon" said Vincent.
Yoana shaking. "No, Vince. Let me be near you."
Vincent lets in when Joanna puts her head on the sofa beside his arm.Yoana's hand holds her arm and the woman closes her eyes.
It's getting late, Vincent didn't let his eyes shut. His guards took turns watching the situation outside the villa. After Yakin Joanna was completely asleep, Vincent got up, easily he lifted Joanna without even frowning though his shoulders were sore and throbbing.
If it's really you, Rod .. then it looks like I have to end it right this time. You're after Joanna's life again.
Vincent touched Joanna's cheek with his fingertips. The Bernard girl who made him fall in love. But he also made a promise, will not have the girl after the dark events that occurred because the past Vincent who followed him came to the Bernard family.
Vincent sat on the floor, leaning against the sofa as he continued to look at the sleeping face.
He used to follow Alissia, curious about the family that Alissia promised to present to Vincent. He came and found that Mr. Antonio who loved his wife so much accepted her because he weighed in on Alissia's feelings, then the haughty Miss Bernard's first daughter who looked suspiciously at her first arrival, then the two boys who looked at him were adoring because he showed his ability by just turning a knife.
He left the street life as a bandit he lived with Tricia and Rodrigo. Vincent knows Rodrigo loves Tricia, but Tricia never takes a glance at the man's feelings. Tricia dedicates herself to pursuing Vincent.
Vincent didn't want the girl one bit. Her feelings were just like a friend, but Tricia had grown bolder, even beginning to seduce her using her body. The girl was going crazy ..why did she not welcome the love of Rod who wholeheartedly wanted her.
But the heart is unruly, Tricia's feelings and behavior make Vincent uncomfortable. They've been living together on the streets, helping each other and protecting each other, but Tricia's behavior begins to make Rodrigo jealous and look at Vincent with the gaze of an enemy.
Until then he meets Alissia, who invites him away and away from the place, also from Tricia and Rod. At first he was not interested in Alissia's invitation to offer him a job, he could do anything and make money, then when Alissia offered to take him to a family with three younger brothers waiting, Alissia said, Vincent is reminded of Rod's jealousy and his discomfort with Tricia.
Vincent sees a solution to leave the two men behind, vanishing and moving away from Tricia while freeing himself from Rod's jealousy. Then began his life in the Bernard family, unaware.
