Dreams of a Poor Girl

Dreams of a Poor Girl
#IGYM Season 2

After hearing the wife's words, Dirga decided to be alone in the study. The trauma of being lost still haunts him.

Meanwhile, in the room, Zulfa was agitated by Dirga's reaction. Negative thoughts began to fill her head, she thought that Dirga did not accept her current pregnancy.

"I have to how?" lirih Zulfa, who is now lying in bed.

Tears began to fall soaking his cheeks, being in a position that was wrong to make Zulfa could not think clearly. Before long, Zulfa's eyes slowly closed due to tired of crying.

At 2 a.m., Zulfa awoke from her sleep. He felt the side of the bed next to him, apparently Dirga did not return to the room. Zulfa went from his sleep to the bathroom, suddenly his stomach felt nauseous.

After coming from the bathroom, Zulfa went downstairs to make ginger. Her current pregnancy is different when she is pregnant Assyifa, she is tired faster and often nauseous.

Finished making ginger wedang, Zulfa returned to his room. Zulfa stopped his steps as he passed through Dirga's study. A slightly open door allowed Zulfa to see her husband sleeping on the sofa.

Slowly Zulfa went in to wake Dirga to sleep in the room.

"Mas, wake! My mother!" call Zulfa while gently shaking Dirga's arm.

Dirga who felt the touch of Zulfa's hand immediately opened his eyes. He rubbed his eyes then looked at the clock on the wall which showed at 2:30 in the morning.

"Why aren't you asleep?" ask Dirga.

"I woke up because my stomach was nauseous, and I kept making ginger in the kitchen" Zulfa explained.

"Yes, now we go to the room! It's still night, you better go to sleep again," Dirga then passed out of her study.

Seeing that, Zulfa felt that he was no longer cared for by Dirga. This was the first time, Dirga was acting indifferent to him. And that makes Dirga like this because of Zulfa's pregnancy.

"Why have you changed, Mom? That's not how you want to be with my current pregnancy" Zulfa murmured.

Zulfa moved out of Dirga's study, then into the room. With a troubled heart and mind, Zulfa tried to look fine. She did not want Assyifa to know about the sadness she was feeling.

................

Birds chirping and sunlight, awakening the sleeping Zulfa. He opened his eyes and saw the side next to him, and Dirga who was not in bed. He thought that Dirga was taking a bath, but for fifteen minutes of waiting, there was no water splashing from the bathroom.

Not wanting to guess, he went to the kitchen to see his aunt. He wanted to ask Dirga whereabouts.

"Bi, look at Dirga's not?" ask Zulfa after arriving in the kitchen.

"Have left for the office early in the morning, Non. Is it true that Dirga is not alone?"

"No, Bi. Maybe he didn't want to wake me up" Zulfa said, making an alibi to keep my aunt from suspecting me.

"Syifa's awake yet?" Zulfa immediately switched the conversation.

"Already, Non. Maybe get ready in the room again" replied the aunt.

"If so, I'll go to Syifa's room first!"

In Syifa's room, ready for her school uniform, she was already wearing shoes and ready to leave.

"Darling, are you ready yet?" ask Zulfa when he's inside.

"Here you go, Ma."

"Come, breakfast first! Later the mother who took you to school," said Zulfa while stroking the head of Syifa covered with hijab.

"Where is he going? How my mom took me," asked Syifa in surprise.

"Papa's got a meeting, so early in the morning it's gone."

Syifa nodded after hearing her mother's words. Zulfa and Syifa went down for breakfast.

After breakfast, Zulfa went to his room to change clothes and drove Syifa to school. Upon arrival at school, Syifa rushed straight to her class after saying goodbye to her mother.

One week passed, Zulfa was increasingly made agitated by Dirga's attitude. Always leave early in the morning and go home late at night, sometimes not even home.

Arriving at the office, Zulfa immediately rushed to Dirga's room. Without knocking on the door, Zulfa immediately opened the door of Dirga's room.

Brugh

The supply box in Zulfa's hand fell scattered, a sight that made his heart break to pieces. Dirga who heard the sound of falling objects was immediately shocked, especially when he saw his wife who had been torn by tears.

"Sorry, it's disturbing. Excuse me" said Zulfa and left Dirga's room.

Dimas who just happened to come from lunch outside, was shocked when he saw Zulfa who was walking hastily while crying.

Shortly after, Dirga ran out of the room to catch up with Zulfa. Zulfa walked over the pavement regardless of the cry of Dirga who called out to him.

"Which, wait!" exclaim Dirga then pull Zulfa's hand.

"Dengerin' to my explanation! Everything is not as you think," said Dirga trying to persuade Zulfa not to misunderstand.

"Everything else I should hear, Mom? Why do you explain everything, don't you think of me no more?" Zulfa let go of Dirga's hand and wanted to leave, but Dirga pulled back his hand until he was in Dirga's arms.

"I beg you to listen to my explanation! I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Even though you said you didn't mean to hurt my heart, but the truth is you broke my feelings, Mas.

If indeed you do not want to accept my pregnancy, you just talk about not having to avoid me! Please, think of Syifa's feelings! He still needs your attention, every time he always asks you that he has not had time for him lately" said Zulfa.

"Sorry, I'm really sorry!" Only that sentence was able to come out of Dirga's mouth. He felt very guilty especially to his daughter.

"Enough I can't feel the attention of my parents, don't let Syifa feel what I've ever felt." Again Zulfa's words more heart-wrenching, only because of his ego he did not think about the feelings of his wife and child.

Zulfa took off Dirga's embrace after being satisfied to take out all his uneg-uneg.

"All the decisions are with you, Mom. If indeed you cannot accept my current situation, I accept. One thing I ask of you, never destroy Syifa's feelings!"

After saying that, Zulfa immediately passed away from before Dirga with a myriad of guilt.

While in the office, Dimas was sitting on the sofa of his room, while Tania was agitated after what had happened earlier.

"What actually happened? Why did Madame Zulfa come out of Mr. Dirga's room in tears?" cecar Dimas's.

"thank you. Please, make orange juice in the pantry!"

"Good, sir."

Tania went straight to the pantry to prepare the orange juice Dirga requested. When he finished he immediately delivered to Dirga's room.

After putting the drink on the table, Tania accidentally stumbled on the table leg. Until making his body suddenly shredded behavior fell on Dirga who was about to open his lunch box.

Just then, Zulfa who had just opened the door saw the scene where Tania was on top of Dirga's body.

"That's the story, sir. Honestly, I don't mean to tease Mr. Dirga. I am afraid that until the relationship of Mr. Dirga and his wife messed up because of the incident earlier," concluded Tania.

Dimas could only sigh, he himself was also at a loss as to what to say. Because it's the first time he's seen Dirga and Zulfa's relationship isn't okay.
