Dreams of a Poor Girl

Dreams of a Poor Girl
Chapter 36

Dirga, who has been in the office since waiting for a reply to Zulfa's message, intends to go to the house occupied by Zulfa. After taking a bath, he immediately prepared to head for Zulfa's house.

Don't forget he stopped by the fruit and cake shop for her to give Zulfa. It might seem strange because this is the first time Dirga has brought something for a woman.

After getting what he bought, Dirga rushed forward to his car. Along the way he was already feeling nervous, just think of him like a new ABG in love.

As soon as she reached an alley that became access to Zulfa's contract, Dirga chose to go downstairs to see the situation. However, when it was only a few meters away, his steps stopped when he saw the scene that made him emotional.

Dirga sees Zulfa crying in Iwan's arms, wanting her to feel like she's pulling Zulfa away from Iwan, but her wits can still get in the way.

"It looks like I have to move fast, I should be able to have Zulfa completely," Dirga murmured.

He turned back to his car.

......................

Meanwhile, Zulfa who was still sobbing in Iwan's arms immediately let go of his embrace.

"Sorry, Mas. All this time I had a lot of trouble for Mas Iwan, Mas Iwan shouldn't have come to think about my situation now."

"I've looked at you like my own sister, Fa. Whatever and whenever you need, I will always be there for you."

"Thank you, Mum. I don't know, in what way can I repay Mas Iwan's kindness?"

"By seeing you become successful and successful, it has made me very happy, Fa. So, you have to keep the spirit of achieving your dreams all this time. And rest assured that one day there will be a miracle that can make you recover from the disease you suffer."

"Aamiin's."

"Please, don't tell my sister that I'm here, Mom!" pinta Zulfa's.

"Keep if Zahra asks, how? I told you I'd help you find your whereabouts."

"Mas Iwan said I haven't met yet, I'm not ready to go back home. I'm afraid it's happening again, and it's gonna make things even more messy."

"Well, if that's what you want. Importantly, you should always tell me, make sure you're okay."

"Yes, Mas. Is Ivan here long? Or go straight back to City P."

"Maybe I'll be back tomorrow afternoon, Fa."

"Em, if so tomorrow I need something, yes for Mbak Anis!"

"Nitip what?"

"Anyways, tomorrow Mas Iwan also knows for himself."

"Hem, that's it. Now playing with secrecy?"

"No, I'll tell you tomorrow."

"Yes, I want to go home. Than later your brother nanya continue," said Iwan.

"That's enough, Fa. I guess who the guests are, I say goodbye, yes. Assalamualaikum!"

"Wa'laikumsalam!"

After Iwan left, Zulfa returned home. He looked at the clock that was already showing at 5pm.

"I made some cake dough while waiting for Maghrib time" murmured Zulfa.

He immediately took out all the materials and equipment needed. Deftly, Zulfa began to prepare the ingredients to make the cake. First, he broke a few eggs and added sugar and baking powder.

Zulfa turned on the mixer and began to beat the eggs until they expanded, after which he put the flour that had been mixed with cocoa powder gradually. When the dough has been mixed well, he adds melted chocolate and liquid margarine and then stirred again until all mixed well.

Zulfa took the pan that had been smeared with margarine, and then he poured the dough into the pan and steamed it.

Right after the dough was steamed, the call of adzan maghrib was already heard. Zulfa cleaned up all the equipment and immediately took ablution to perform maghrib prayers.

Days passed, this was the third month Zulfa worked as a CEO secretary. Zulfa's closeness and familiarity with Dirga also intensified, even Dirga had dared to show his attention to Zulfa.

He did it solely because he wanted Zulfa to get closer to him without feeling awkward.

Like this afternoon, Dirga must always order food for Zulfa. Dirga and Zulfa always had lunch together in his room. Undeniably, the attention that is always given to Zulfa, makes love slowly begin to grow in Zulfa's heart.

However, Zulfa did not want to expect more, he considered Dirga's attention to him because of his sense of thugs. Zulfa is self-conscious, he doesn't deserve to be with a guy like Dirga. Even if Dirga did have feelings for her, she would subtly refuse.

He just doesn't want to, Dirga is living with a woman who has a deadly disease like him. Dirga's future is still long, while he just has to wait for the time to arrive to leave this world.

The disease is getting worse, if not helped by drugs, maybe Zulfa is gone. Until now, neither Zahra nor Amir knew about Zulfa's condition now.

"Fa, you have no show on Sunday night?" ask Dirga.

"Nothing, sir. Because I rarely leave if it doesn't matter" replied Zulfa.

"Then I'll take you somewhere on Sunday night."

"Where, sir? Is it just me?"

"Yes, I have something for you."

"What's up, sir?"

"Secret, if I tell you right now, it's not a surprise."

"But I was curious" said Zulfa.

"Well, wait for Sunday night!"

"All right," resigned Zulfa.
