Dreams of a Poor Girl
#IGYM Season 2

The car Dirga and Zulfa were riding in front of the house. Dirga went down first and helped Zulfa who was holding her baby.

"Slow down!" dirga then led Zulfa into the house.

Dirga opened the door and stepped in with Zulfa. The house looked quiet and silent, Zulfa was astonished that there was usually an aunt who welcomed.

"We're moving in the basement until you recover, pity you for going up and down the stairs."

"Yes, Mum."

Both entered the previously cleaned room, and decorated with princess-style shades.

Inside there are many balloons and accessories that add a beautiful impression, also do not forget there are stickers attached to the wall that say welcome baby Assyifa.

"Where? You like his room?" dirga asked after putting the bag containing Zulfa's clothes during the hospital.

"Like it, Mom. The room was great, who designed all this?"

"Em, I chose the design to be made according to the gender of our child, the princess. And the thing that takes care of everything is definitely Dimas, I just take care of it," said Dirga.

"I'm guessing," replied Zulfa and placed the baby Assyifa in bed.

Dirga approached the wife and hugged her from behind. Zulfa who felt the coiled hand on her stomach was slightly surprised. Zulfa scrunched her forehead when her shoulders felt wet, she turned to face her husband.

"Mas, why are you crying?" asked Zulfa while wiping Dirga's tears.

"I'm happy, honey. Since we were able to get back together, back then I was really afraid of losing you. Moreover, our daughter still desperately needs the figure of her mother.

Now my life is complete thanks to the presence of you and our daughter," said Dirga then clasped Zulfa's hand.

"Can I ask you something?" connect Dirga.

"What's up, Mom?"

"I'm asking for this first and last time we have a child, I don't want it to happen the other day."

"Mas, the age of man only God knows. We must think positively, if we too expect something in the future, it is the same as preceding God's destiny.

Think of the events of the other day as learning, so that we get closer to the Creator" Zulfa explained.

"I know that, but this time I want you to follow my request." Dirga held onto both of Zulfa's shoulders with a piercing gaze.

Zulfa swallowed her saliva with great difficulty, this was the first time she had found another look from her husband.

"Yes, Mom."

Finally, Zulfa chose to give in according to her husband's words. She did not want to get her husband provoked by his rejection.

To be honest, Zulfa still wants to someday have another child, but he has to undo that intention.

................

At 3 p.m., Zulfa bathed baby Assyifa. Although it's the first time, but Zulfa is very good at taking care of babies.

"Non, why don't you call auntie? Kan, aunty can help make non-small baths," said aunty who just entered deliver clothes that have been ironed.

"That's okay, Bik. As long as I can, I'll do it myself. Aunt must be tired from all day's work, too" replied Zulfa.

When she finished, Zulfa brought baby Assyifa to a table prepared to change clothes when she finished bathing.

"Mommy's kids get dressed first, yeah! Let it be more beautiful like a princess," Zulfa told Assyifa as if the baby understood her words.

"There's something you can help with, isn't it, Non? If there's aunty helping me mumpung still here," haunts aunty.

"Nothing, Bik. Later if you need anything, I'll call aunt."

"Yes, if that's what aunt went to the kitchen to cook!" pamit aunty.

"Yes, Bik."

After dressing Assyifa in clothes and packing her clothes, Zulfa took Assyifa to the balcony.

She held the little baby to sleep, and occasionally Zulfa kissed her cheek.

"What are you doing here?" ask Dirga who just arrived in the room.

"Let's enjoy the afternoon air, Mas."

"It was very bad sleep," said Dirga while stroking the cheek of Assyifa.

"He's a baby, Mas. Sleep time is more often compared to children who are 3 months and older."

"You're sleeping in bed, Yang! Let me take care, you take a shower first."

"Yes, Mum."

................

Time passed quickly, not feeling the age of Assyifa had stepped on seven years. Now that he is in elementary school, he is a very cheerful and intelligent boy.

After dropping Assyifa off at school, Zulfa chose to visit her brother because he had already given Dirga permission.

"Tumben you came here alone, Dek?" zahra said as she sat down to accompany Zulfa.

"Yes, Brother. Again want to play here," said Zulfa with a sad face.

"Why? You got a problem?" ask Zahra who realized the look on the face of her sister.

Zulfa let out a long sigh, he indeed needs someone who can be consulted.

"Sister!" call Zulfa.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I'm afraid" said Zulfa.

"Fear why?"

"I'm afraid Dirga's mad."

Zahra frowned, feeling confused by her sister's conversation.

"Are you doing something wrong? There is no way Dirga is angry if there is no reason" said Zahra.

"I'm two weeks late, brother. How am I pregnant?"

"Huh? Yes, it's okay to get pregnant. After all, Syifa is also grown and again you have a husband. Why should I be confused?"

"That's the problem, brother. Dirga did not allow me to get pregnant again, she was afraid that the incident back then repeated."

"Have you not used contraception before?"

Zulfa twisted her fingers that were already sweating coldly.

"At that time I forgot not to take the contraceptive pill, and it just so happened that Dirga was out of town again. I thought he came home the next day, so I relaxed.

Uh, don't know it's midnight he's home."

Zahra paused for a moment to examine every explanation Zulfa had made.

"That means, when Dirga comes home you are fertile?" ask Zahra.

Zulfa nodded in response, she lowered her head in confusion as to what she should say to her husband.

"Have you checked yet? It's just a normal late period."

"I checked this morning, and the results were positive" Zulfa replied.

"Where are you, Dek? It's not that you don't want to help you, it's only good for you to talk and tell Dirga directly!

Try, you'll talk to him about this tonight. Clearly slow down, hopefully he can understand!"

"Yes, Brother. I hope Dirga will understand."

**

Sure enough, while both were in the room, Zulfa tried to invite Dirga to talk. Although her heart was already pounding restraining guguo and afraid her husband was angry.

"Mas! I want to talk to you about something!" said Zulfa quietly.

Dirga, who was originally focused on his laptop, now turned his attention to his wife after turning off the laptop. Dirga approached Zulfa who was sitting on the bed restlessly.

"Speak what?" dirga asked after sitting next to his wife.

"A-I'm actually-" Zulfa hung up her words while looking at Dirga's facial expression.

"Why? Did something happen?"

"I'm ha-pregnant, Mas."

"Pregnant?" dirga and Zulfa nodded.

For a moment only silence was created, Zulfa who was restless about Dirga's reaction when he found out about her pregnancy. While Dirga was still speechless with a face expression that was hard to guess.
