Dreams of a Poor Girl
Chapter 14

In the morning, the Amir family were in the living room for breakfast. The newlyweds are already there, while Zulfa prefers to be busy in the kitchen.

"Fa, let's have breakfast! The others are waiting," Iwan asked.

"Yes, Mas. It's still a nanggung finish the cookware."

"Udah, it'll be done again!" said Iwan while pulling Zulfa's hand to go with him.

Zulfa was only able to resign when Iwan pulled his hand to join the Amir family.

It could be said Zulfa is an introvert figure, he prefers to be alone than gathering with people.

Since his life changed, Zulfa's attitude has also changed. She who used to be a jolly girl, is now a quiet girl.

"Come, Fa eat first!" bring Mom Amir.

"Yes, ma'am" Zulfa replied.

While Zahra and Amir look at each other to see Iwan holding Zulfa's hand. They wondered, since when his sister and cousin were so familiar.

Iwan took off his handrails so Zulfa could pick up some food. Zahra awoke from her daydream when she heard Iwan's words.

"Sir Zahra, after breakfast can we talk for a while? Take Amir all over."

"Eh, I can."

Everyone ate quietly while Iwan occasionally stole a glance at Zulfa, and it did not escape the sight of Zahra who was curious about what Iwan would talk about.

"Does he want to talk about his relationship with Zulfa?" inner Zahra.

After breakfast, Zahra and Amir meet Iwan and Zulfa in the courtyard. On a bench under a mango tree.

"What's up, Wan?" amir asked as he sat down to join the two.

"Previously sorry if I was too involved, I heard Zulfa wants to go to college in P City, right?" Iwan asked Zahra.

"Yes, why?"

"Gini, Ma'am. I want to help Zulfa to get the registration form there because I happened to teach at that campus. I'll also help you find a suitable hostel for Zulfa" Iwan explained.

"What won't get your nicotine later?" zahra asked as she glanced at Zulfa who lowered her head.

"No, Ma'am. I'm even happy to be able to help people, let alone this brother himself."

"I'm up to Zulfa, what? If he wants to, it's okay."

"Where, Fa? You want to?" ask Zulfa.

"Yes, Mas. I want to."

"Well, after I get home from here I'll ask you for a form."

"Yes, Mum."

"Is there a phone number you can call?"

"Some, have Brother Zahra."

"You're using the phone, Dek. You need more than brother."

"But it ain't got a brother."

"Udah use it, will you be able to borrow Mas Amir."

"Your sister, Fa, really said. You need more." Amir Sahut.

"False, Brother. Later if I can work alone, I will buy a new phone for Brother."

"You just focus on your education, about that you do not have to think. The important thing is to succeed in becoming a successful person, Brother is already happy."

"Yes, Brother."

Zahra and Amir will be home in the afternoon. Yes, after marriage Amir decided to live in the house of Zahra's parents. Because he felt sorry to see his wife who always thought about the fate of her sister.

"Bryan, what's wrong?" ask Zulfa who is sweeping the courtyard.

"What's wrong, you're home alone?"

"No, later in the afternoon Brother Zahra and Mas Amir will return here."

"Oh that's it."

For a moment both of them were silent because they were confused about what to talk about.

"Fa!"

"Yes, Bry."

"When do you want to return my feelings? Soon as we graduate school, are you still not in a relationship?"

"Sorry, Bry. I still want to focus on pursuing my dreams and ideals."

"Until when, Fa? I have been waiting for you to return my feelings. Don't you feel like you made me?"

"I-I don't know, Bry."

"Please, Fa! Love me for sure, if you have no taste, you are honestly okay. Likewise, on the contrary, if you have a sense of frank talk, you do not need to pendam yourself.

You understand what I've felt up to this point, don't you, Fa?"

Zulfa's lips suddenly confused, just saying the word yes was not able. Only a nod of the head was the answer to Bryan's question.

"You calm down, Fa. I won't bother you anyway, I will always support you until you can realize your dreams and ideals" Bryan concluded while holding both hands Zulfa.

"Thank you, Bry. Because you want to know me."

"Together, Fa. It means that from now on we are made" said Bryan and embraced by Zulfa.

"If I go home first, see you again!" pamit Bryan then left Zulfa who was still languished in the yard. Until someone's voice surprised him.

"What are you doing, Fa? Kok bengong himself," asked Iwan who had just arrived to deliver Amir's suitcase containing clothes.

"Eh, Iwan. What's the suitcase for, Mom?"

"This is Amir's suitcase, it was going to be taken with him later in the afternoon. Since the bouleks told me to bring food from there I would anter aja suitcase," explained Iwan.

"Oh, if so bring it inside directly, Mas! Let me take it to Brother Zahra's room."

"Yes." Yeah."

Iwan followed Zulfa into the house, then put Amir's suitcase near the living room.

"Please sit down, Mom! I'll make you a drink first."

"Not bother, Fa. I want to settle things later in the afternoon should go back to City P."

"That's it, yeah."

"If I go home first, I'll see you there."
