Chapter 82 - The troublesome enemy

Zion grinned which made Cendric even more alert, he muttered softly and only Cendric heard that.

"But, I want to fight with Kasumi alone. You're exhausted from fighting the Undead, aren't you? I know if you use your powers again then slowly you'll change like me,"

"So, I hope you're not interrupting our fight"

Cendric became a little careless because of the words of Zion who knew the situation, Zion put her hand in the eyes of Cendric then Cendric was thrown far back.

"Dad!"

Kasumi wants to help Cendric, but Zion gets in the way.

"Where are you going?"

Kasumi dodges Zion's attack, which makes her delay the intention to help Cendric, she pulls out her arrow and points it towards Zion.

The black spirit plant tendrils of Zion wriggled with disgust.

Kasumi looked at him in disgust then changed the weapon he used.

The golden sword that contained a bit of power belonging to Cairo was a fitting weapon now.

That crazy-sounding happy voice came out from the mouth of the fighting subordinate Zion.

The soldiers are fighting the enemy, their enemy is not only human.

Undead hard to die, mutant monsters and skeletons also attacked.

"Don't the king kill the Undead controller? Why are they still able to rise now!?"

One of the soldiers spoke in frustration, he wondered why the Undead were still around even though the master controlling them was dead.

"Death to you fucking demons!"

The rain of blue-colored fireballs attacked the soldier earlier, they should have been burned to death but an ice shield blocked the fire from them.

"Prince Rion"

Muttering one of the soldiers earlier, he was a warrior from the Dracovillia kingdom so he clearly knew the figure of the young man with purple strands of hair who was protecting him.

"Are you guys okay?"

Rion said, he turned around and helped the soldier stand up.

The soldier that Rion had helped nodded along with his friend earlier. Rion looked at their state for a moment, then smiled faintly.

"Thank God I'm not late, you go help the others. I'll take care of this witch"

The two soldiers nodded in understanding, then they left.

Rion removed the shield and saw the figure of the witch who attacked the two soldiers earlier, she was human but her eyes clearly showed that she was a demon.

"So. You are a creature, right? In view of your physique it is obvious that you do not have those red eyes from heredity."

The witch smiled proudly at Rion's words, then opened her mouth.

"I only received the strength I deserved,"

His words were short, Rion just kept silent while watching the witch.

"Be careful, she's different from other witches"

Rion flinched as he heard a voice that had suddenly appeared behind him, he turned around and saw the figure of Elios who had been there since when.

"What does it mean differently?"

Rion asked as he looked back at the silent witch, he did not start the fight even though Rion was silent

Elios confirmed the glasses he was wearing, then returned to speaking.

"He has holy power,"

Rion's eyes were perfectly rounded.

"Is that true?"

Elios nodded in response.

"True, he is the strangest of creatures. The holy power is like that of a saint, but anyone knows that in this world there is only one saint now that is the saintess Irene in Hyun-ah kingdom. If so, who is he?"

Elios stopped his words, he looked back at the witch with a cold look.

"Who are you?"

In the end Elios asked the witch.

The witch in front of him smiled in a slant, then he answered Elios' question indifferently.

"I am a sword saintess, and my duty is here to slaughter all rotten demons. Since you are the demon lord's subordinate, then first, I will kill you"
