Chapter 20-Street.

My eyes were wide open as I stared at the scene from outside the window, the sun was almost in the middle, which meant that I woke up too late.

'A princess shouldn't wake up in the afternoon, this is my bad luck!'

In a bit of a hurry I got off the bed, about to go for a bath and change clothes.

"Good day, princess"

The compact words of the servants who had been standing next to my bed since when, they seemed to be Irene's man.

"When are you here?"

"Five minutes ago, the Duchess said you would wake up so we were told to help you prepare your clothes"

They answered well, and as I thought this was Irene's request.

"But where is Irene?"

I asked again, one of the servants replied politely.

"Miss Duchess is going to the palace, she and the great lord are called by the king"

I was silent for a moment, the king means sister-in-law Irene. Did something happen so they were called? I think it has something to do with me.

Now I'm getting a little restless, but my problem with Irene is over.

"You should get ready soon princess, we'll help you"

Said one of them again, I was immediately taken to the bathroom and they did their job. As usual, I closed my eyes during the shower.

I went into the dining room at lunchtime, where Elios was waiting, no, rather he was eating.

Alexis was next to me, she was waiting outside the room and when we finished we went to the dining room together.

"Why didn't uncle wake me?"

"Good afternoon princess, you slept very well so I didn't have the heart to wake you up earlier"

Said Elios briefly with a smile of his business, he really sucks.

"Uncle should have just woken me up, so I look like a princess who doesn't know ethics"

Replying to my annoyance, I immediately sat opposite him with Alexis sitting next to me, I told him to sit down and eat as well.

Food began to be served in front of us, because I used to live in the human world and not in the demon realm so the food here was familiar to me, although it feels a bit different because I am not living on this continent.

I saw Elios eat nothing, I forgot he was a vampire. So this kind of food had no effect on him, my eyes glanced at Alexis and he did not eat much but fruit.

I also forgot that he was a vampire just like Elios and Black in the kingdom, so I'm the only one eating here.

'The taste of this meat is delicious, I should ask for the recipe for it at the palace later'

After a few minutes, the meal was over. Now I don't know what to do, to be honest, it's so cold that it makes me feel like I don't want to go out and just stay in bed.

However, Elios' words made me unable to do that.

"We're going for a walk, there's something I have to buy here"

He said briefly, I was immediately interested after hearing that. Well, at least I can look around this city and maybe I can learn something there.

Her long brown hair was breaking down beautifully, the teenage lady was speechless in front of one of the shops she had visited a few hours ago.

"What do you want to buy in this store?"

He asked as he stared at the nameplate of the shop, it was a place selling magic tools and seemed to have good quality.

Elios glanced at Kasumi for a moment, before he answered her question.

"There's something I have to buy, and your daughter can wait here or go for a walk with sir Alexis"

"I'm just going for a walk"

Kasumi replies briefly, she is not curious about what Elios will do in the store and decides to go for a walk with Alexis.

Elios nodded in understanding.

"I might be a bit old, you can go back to the mansion first later"

"okay"

Kasumi answered briefly, after which she immediately walked towards the market that was there. Before entering the shop, he looked at Kasumi who had disappeared in the crowd and opened the door.

"So, what should we do Sir Alexis?"

Kasumi asked, to be honest, she had no plans to go anywhere. Alexis looked around, then pointed to one of the shops there.

"What if it's a princess?"

His words were short, Kasumi's eyes immediately looked at the direction Alexis pointed at. It was a women's accessories store, and Kasumi was obviously not interested in going there.

"After some thought I'd like to go to the library"

Reply Kasumi, he finally decided to go to the library that was there. Alexis nodded in understanding, he walked beside Kasumi towards the library.

The distance to the library was quite far, Kasumi had to pass through many shops and ask the people around, but it didn't matter to her.

Kasumi remained spirited towards the library despite being far and much time-consuming, and eventually they arrived at the front door of the large library.

"Let's go in!"

Alexis followed her daughter inside, the atmosphere was very different from the outside.

In this library is warm and also quiet, in contrast to the cold outside conditions are also crowded. Finally Kasumi can enjoy quality reading time, she is sure if Elios will be long so this is perfect for her.

Kasumi walked towards the shelf with the history book, of course. He wanted to read the history about this kingdom, it was enough to make him curious.

Kasumi's hand took one of the books on the top shelf, the middle, the side and from all angles she picked up one book each.

The books piled up on top of her small hands, Kasumi struggled with all those books then she felt the burden on her hands decrease.

His eyes looked at the man who took out almost half the book he had brought, it was Alexis.

Kasumi smiled at him, then thanked him.

"Thank you sir, you can take him to the reading table that's right there"

Kasumi said softly, she pointed towards the empty reading table. Alexis nodded, then he asked as he followed Kasumi.

"Are you going to read all this?"

Said Alexis, he had a little doubt about Kasumi.

Kasumi nodded steadily, she indeed wanted to read everything.

Alexis fell silent, he placed all the books on the reading table Kasumi said.

Seeing Alexis who was just silent made Kasumi ask.

"Why?"

Kasumi asked briefly, Alexis simply shook her head in response.

"It's okay princess, please you read. I'll wait for you here"

"If there's a book you want to read, I'll be a long time"

Alexis nodded in understanding, he had indeed picked up one of the books that he found rather interesting then sat down next to Kasumi.

The two of them spent time inside the library reading, until Kasumi fell asleep as she read the 20th book she picked up.
