Chapter 113: Exchanging jobs

The maxime residence.

Arriving at the residence, William immediately brought Evelyne who was asleep in his arms quite soundly. Whether anything Evelyne did to make his body become like this, really makes William very worried about him. Dessy, who saw Evelyne in her arms with her eyes closed, made her think that something had happened to her outside.

“William, is he okay?” ask Dessy who stopped William from climbing the stairs.

William turned to “He was fine bi, he was just asleep due to fatigue. So I'll take her to the room first.”

“Good..You take him to the room first, and accompany him. I'll have some waiters bring her a basin and clean cloth.” Dessy ran towards the kitchen to call some servants.

While William just shook his head while engraving a warm smile on his handsome face. “See that, Evelyne! Aunt seems to be starting to like you, even her maternal attitude has been shown for you. You're no longer alone, do you understand baby?”

“Eum..” dehem Evelyne in her sleep.

“Come in!” william said in a cold tone.

The waiter opened the door and walked in slowly, carrying the basin in his hand. William who saw the servant enter immediately turned his face to another direction, or rather william focused his gaze on Evelyne. “You just put that basin there, and let me take care of it. You can go busy yourself.”

“B-good sir, please call me if you have any problems.” The waiter immediately went out of the room, because he thought that William was not only a handsome man but also a terrible man.

Seeing the waiter leave him, William was just silent as he took the clean towel from the top of the small closet. Then he drowned a little in the warm water before he squeezed it out. “Your body is so dirty, did they do any roughness to you? Why didn't you ever tell me that yourself? Why do I always have to ask you first, can't you trust me more as your husband?”

William undressed Evelyne slowly before he began rubbing Evelyne's body with a clean cloth that had now been wet from the warm water. William rubbed Evelyne's body very gently, not even the energy given by William as he cleaned Evelyne's body.

After a few minutes, William finished cleaning Evelyne's body and he had also dressed Evelyne in warm sleeping pajamas. Evelyne was done he took care of it, William immediately threw dirty water from the basin into the bathroom. William also tidied up some of the items that were still lying on the floor and returned them to their respective places.

William does love cleanliness so that it makes it a little uncomfortable when he sees something lying down or not arranged properly.

“Eum...L-liam.” call Evelyne in her sleep when she finds out there is no one sleeping next to her.

William who felt called immediately approached the bed, then sat on the edge of the mattress before he would put his body there. But when William was about to put his body to sleep, Evelyne had already embraced his waist with his eyes still closed. “Liaamm...where have you been? Why weren't you next to me?”

“I'm sorry.I ran out of some rooms earlier. A lot of your stuff was strewn on the floor, so I tidied it up first.” William said as he put his body to sleep beside Evelyne, and Evelyne immediately put his tiny body in William's arms. “Can't you fall asleep when I'm not around?”

Evelyne shook her head “The air was quite cold, and it made my body feel cold”

“Cold? But.the air conditioning machine I didn't turn on. What makes you cold?” William checked Evelyne's body temperature which now felt warm, but he was a little worried because Evelyne kept saying that he was cold “Yoona, do you want to go to the hospital? Looks like you have a problem in your body”

Evelyne shook her head and hugged William even more tightly. “It hurts so much! I was cold, and there was no warmth back then, but now I was cold and I found the warmth coming from your body. It's really a miracle for me.”

“...” William's speechless.

Are men the same as me? Someone who's ever given a death to this lonely woman? But..if he gives her his disgrace, then why does this woman expect me to be compared to her? Actually, who did he choose? I as the husband happens to be, or he who seems to have managed to get love in your heart...

Question after question that came out of William's mind really made him unable to sleep well, because he never thought that what made him like this was not Yoona, but Evelyne. “Y-yes, but I don't think my explanation will be able to get you to agree to this.” Jane lowered her head with a resigned look. “I don't want to go see him again, even until whenever I don't want to meet him”

Hearing that Jane was having problems made Evelyne feel sympathy for her, and intend to replace her.
