23. Choices

"We as parents just want our son to get a good and responsible man" my father said, after Damian gave a lengthy explanation. I thought to myself, will my father not approve of our relationship?

"Son, our duties as parents only provide a decent living and education for our child. For the affairs of a soul mate, we leave everything to Sesil. It's up to Sesil, son. How sessy?" sahut my mother.

Damian turned his head towards me who was sitting next to him. I returned Damian's gaze, which seemed to sparkle, as if I wanted a good answer from me. I'm a little degdegan. I didn't prepare any answers before and I'm not sure if I really like Damian.

"Sil!" call my mother.

"Yes, ma'am" I answered somewhat.

"What's so bad?"

"Yes, Mom. Sesil is also an adult. Sesil also doesn't want to mess around."

"That means Sesil wants to accept Damian's son?" ask my mother, who seems to not need an answer from me anymore.

Damian smiled in relief, as if taking off a very heavy burden. I saw Damian sigh heavily as I gave that answer.

"Thank you for choosing me" Damian said before dropping me off his car.

"I'm the one who should thank you, because you chose me" I replied.

Damian grabbed my fingers, grabbed them and kissed my fingers on the back. I'm not dreaming right now, am I? I'm not in a Korean drama, right? Yes, Sesil is the real world.

"I'll drive you to the front of the gate, will I?" pinta Damian is still clutching my fingers.

"Can."

Damian opened the car door for me, driving me to the front of the boarding gate. Damian's hand that was clutching my finger as if he didn't want to let go, was getting tighter. Damian suddenly hugged me.

"Yes, I promise."

Damian took off his embrace and held onto my tiny shoulder. She looked at me softly, so softly, that I couldn't bear to not kiss her cheek.

"Good night" I said, breaking away from Damian and entering through the gate and closing it.

I saw Damian still fixated and holding his cheek which I just kissed with a face that would look flushed maybe if there was a bright light. But unfortunately the moment did not happen because the light was not too bright.

"That's it, back there," I cried.

"You. Kissing people immediately ran away. Look out for it," Damian joked.

"Hahaha.kan scan. You were also then! It's back there. It's late, get some rest" I said.

"Good, baby. Tomorrow I will take you to college. Can, huh?"

"Yes, yes.already back there to the hotel so you can get up early," I said.

"Can you kiss again? It was just the cheek next door, the envy next to it," Damian teased.

"Aahhh. It's back there," I said.

"Pelit.ya I have returned. I'll see you tomorrow morning" Damian said, walking to his car.

I also walked into the boarding house. When I got to my room, I wanted to close the curtains, but Damian's car didn't leave. I opened the window, trying to figure out why Damian hasn't left. Surprisingly, Damian was not alone. There was a man with him. The man was like a stranger and it turned out to be Andika. Why was he there with Damian? I rushed out of my room and down towards the courtyard. But, unfortunately, they no longer exist. They're already gone.
