Harionago, she's a very attractive woman with long hair. Her name stands for "hook woman", and she is also known as Hari-onna.
Her hair may appear normal, but upon closer inspection, the edges form sharp hooks and spines.
She has the ability to manipulate her hair into tentacles that wriggle like a snake and attack the victim she wants.
He's lurking at night, looking for victims. He usually hunts young men more than women, perhaps because it is easier to be seduced and tricked by him.
He usually travels between empty streets and back roads in Japan so no one can figure out his plan.
He stayed around the area or just passed by, once he saw a young man alone, Harionago would just smile at them.
The man would usually smile back, be friendly to the beautiful woman, but that was Harionago's way of getting them to fall into his trap.
If they did not smile, he would turn his head and say nothing, leaving the man in his path.
But, if he smiled back, he would start a ferocious attack. His thorny hair whipped at incredible speed and penetrated deep into the clothes and flesh of his victims.
He would then tear the victim using hooks, and disappear from the scene to leave the shattered corpse. In some cases, he devoured bodies to prevent police intervention.
There was a small chance of escape, but it was possible. If you are a good runner, you may be able to run home and close the door before he chases.
A solid door or gate will keep Harionago out of the house. They disappear in the morning, so all one has to do is stay home until morning.
There is a story about the Harionago experience. The story is like this:
There was a boy who lived in a small village called Yamada. He walks through the streets to get to his house, He's alone, and the fact that it's night he doesn't feel better.
Even with the darkness and loneliness, he was sure that he would be safe since nothing had ever happened on these streets. After all, the road was always empty on a night like this.
He gave her a warm smile, inviting her to smile back. He felt as if something was strange, but he was so attracted to this mysterious girl that he smiled back.
As soon as she gave a friendly grin to him, her hair suddenly shot towards him, as if it was a tentacle. The hook dug in his shirt at high speed, but fortunately did not hit the meat.
Before Harionago could pounce on him, he tore off his shirt and ran away from Harionago. Since it was near his house, he only needed to run for about twenty seconds.
But even with such a short distance, he could hear Harionago rushing behind him, his hair rising into the air at an incredible speed.
He went into his house and closed the door, locked it behind him. Shaking with fear, he sat behind the door and waited until dawn.
He could hear Harionago screaming and pouncing on the door, trying to get through the door.
When it was morning, he finally gained enough courage to open the door. When the door creaked open, Harionago was lost.
So, if you see the girl you have a crush on smirking or smiling, should you smile back? Of course, just do it, try not to scare them.
However, if you see a woman walking out of the shadows at night, you may not smile.
It will probably just take your life.
