This is where most of Annora Petrova's fate story turns strange and disturbing.
Apparently, on the night before he was scheduled to compete in Portland's Ice Crystal Classic skating competition, Petrova decided to enter his name into a Google search. The search yielded surprising results: a Wikipedia page dedicated to his life and career had been created, and in it showed him winning the competition the next day.
Assuming his father had created a page to encourage him to win, but his father denied having created the page on Wikipedia.
More focused on the competition for that moment, Annie mostly forgot about the wikipedia page.
When it came time for her next skating show, she remembered the Wikipedia page and decided to check it out again. It has been updated .. and once again, shows that he will win the next day.
Just like before, the prediction proved to be true.
Surprisingly, the wiki page is constantly updated and predicts its success, time and time again, as each win brings it closer and closer to the upcoming Sectional Championships.
Then he decided to try something new: since the Sectional Championships were still a few months away, he thought he would try editing the Wikipedia page himself, to see if he could influence the results.
That's when the nightmare started.
Not only was he blocked from editing the page, he found that the page had been changed again.
This time, the wikipedia page said something terrible:
"Annora Petrova is a selfish little whore who will get what she deserves."
Shocked by the now threatening text, Annie begins to suspect that the page has been tampered with by her friend Bree, an exceptional skater who will also compete in the Sectional Championships.
Annie is afraid to confront Bree with this information, though she attempts to write Bree a letter about her concerns.
However, this letter was never sent, and was reportedly found later in the day by police.
Wikipedia pages continue to predict horrific events for Annie, including the one that ended her career in the world of skater where she was also accused of damaging Bree's shoes, that resulted in a severe injury that forced his rival out of the Sectional Championships.
The resulting controversy led to Petrova being banned from further competition.
In an attempt to uncover the identity of the person who edited/edited the ominous wikipedia page, he contacted Wikipedia administrators to report what he considered harassment, the admin tells him that they have no such page records, none of which match the notes on their page.
Wikipedia direct site pages are also nothing like it even in the cache in their editorial history does not exist at all.
"Annora Petrova is a pitiful orphan whose parents died in a terrible accident."
In a panic, she tried to contact her parents, but got no answer. A few days later, he was told that his mother and father were dead.
Shortly after receiving this news, Annie suffered an emotional breakdown, and spent some time recovering in a Swiss hospital.
It took him a few years before he attempted to get back to his life, and he finally started training again, this time for an open position with a European skating troupe.
That's when he made the fatal mistake of checking the wikipedia page for the last time ...
"Annora "Annie" Petrova (born May 5, 1991 - died October 24, 2010) is an American Junior Regional skating winner who died as an orphan who had no friends because he was a greedy little pig."
This prediction proved true when Petrova was found dead in his apartment in Prague, Czech Republic.
He was reportedly found by police slumped onto his computer keyboard, with one document still open: a letter to his former friend Bree.
The last paragraph reads:
"There's only a few minutes until midnight now. All I can do is refresh the wikipedia page. I am tired, but I cannot stop. I'm afraid to leave the computer until I know what happens next."
To date, there is no actual Wikipedia page for Annora Petrova. Maybe it never happened.
But if you find one day, be sure to read it carefully, and heed its last warning ...
So, tell me, what do you want most? Oh, you're thinking about it, and the answer is yes. Together we can achieve great things.
I can really help you. I can take you to a place you never even dreamed of. But first, you have to do something for me ...
