In fact, Fanny could have Gaston mention her biological parents' home address so as not to trouble the man. However, after pondering, Fanny did not have the courage to go there by herself. What's he gonna say? After all they could not believe the stranger who suddenly appeared and claimed to be their child. Instead, Fanny could be thought to be crazy. Now, he sits next to Gaston in the car.

"So, at least tell me my parents' names."

Fanny looked at Gaston sure. Wait, does that mean he has to change his price? "I can only tell your mother's name." Gaston was silent for a moment. "She's called Audie Rodriguez."

"What!" Fanny couldn't believe it. She was stunned until her gaze turned blank. Wasn't Audie Rodriguez the name of the woman he knew while watching the theater first! Is Gaston not kidding? Or is it just the same name?

"I'm sure you've met him" added Gaston, who choked Fanny. Apparently, he was the one.

"Not only ever met. We're pretty familiar." So, that woman is her real mother? What a strange and unexpected fate.

"really? Good then."

Gaston's overly relaxed reaction aroused suspicion. Fanny squinted. Why does he feel that all of this is not a coincidence? Gaston's mysterious smile makes Fanny suspicious.

"Is it possible that you deliberately gave me a theater ticket to meet him by chance? And, you deliberately didn't show up so he wouldn't see you?"

Gaston was silent for a moment as he was busy observing the road ahead. Realizing Fanny continued to nail him with sharp eyes, he grinned. "Yes." Yeah."

Fanny has guessed!

"What is your relationship with Audie Rodriguez?

Wait, is it possible that you, the son that Mrs Rodriguez always refers to?" But, where is it possible? If he was Mrs Rodriguez's son, then the Gaston clan should not be Scott, but Rodriguez.

Gaston wiggled a finger. "Almost right. To be exact, I'm just a foster kid. But I love them like my own parents. I just found out that they had a real child about four years ago."

"But Mrs Rodriguez said her daughter was gone."

"Not nothing, but gone. When they were babies, their daughter was kidnapped. Possibly by people who are jealous of their success and do not want them to have a legitimate heir. The police tried to find the missing baby as well as the kidnapper, but nothing. After five years of fruitless searching, they assumed their daughter was dead, and then they adopted me. I'm very grateful. Without them I wouldn't be who I am today."

Turns out they're looking for me, Inner Fanny. "Do you know why I was kidnapped? You've met my father, haven't you? What did he say about the incident?"

"He admitted that he kidnapped you, but not because anyone ordered. Your father only wanted to have children because his wife died before giving him children. But, due to economic hardship, he was forced to sell you."

Fanny took a breath. So, for that reason. He regretted that he hated his father. He's not entirely evil. He's just a lonely old man. Fanny wants to know what the character of her biological parents is. However, he knew they were parents who loved their children very much. Fanny could see him at dinner.

If Gaston had said that fact earlier, Fanny would have embraced them and not considered them strangers. Fanny does feel familiar with them, but never thought they were her parents.

"I always thought the treasure I enjoyed every day should be yours."

Gaston's words distract Fanny back to him.

"I'm sure you're not dead, so I'm investigating. The company I built started with my obsession with finding you. My search finally led me to your father. He arrogantly said he had sold you. I beat him up until he told me where you were."

"You beat him up?" Fanny choked. Gaston Scott again precedes what Cam wants to do.

"Not really." Fanny just felt sorry. "After you know I'm in Madame Jasmine's place, you hire me?

"Well, I'm glad you haven't taken advantage of that woman. I threatened him not to give you to any man. To take care of you, I hired you."

"The presents?"

"I told you, I want you to have it. It was supposed to be yours."

"Why didn't you come to see me back then and tell me the truth? You never show up every time we're scheduled to meet."

"Eee..., I haven't dared."

"How can you be sure I'm the boy you're looking for? What if it's wrong?"

"Don't underestimate me." Gaston was a bit offended. "I asked Madame Jasmine for help asking for a sample of your hair for a DNA test. Results match. No doubt, you're Rodriguez's husband-wife's son."

After hearing all those explanations, Fanny still could not believe it. His heart still felt empty. "Then the woman gave you to another man. I'm so upset about losing you."

Fanny nodded. That was the reason that made Gaston go berserk in Madame Jasmine's office, not because of being harmed, but because of worry. "I promise to find their missing children. Once I find you, I can't lose you again."

"Thank you for taking care of me. So you could say, you are my brother. Then the threat of you liking me and having to marry you is just a bitch? Do you want me to call you brother now?"

"Hey, for that one I mean it."

"Stop joking!" Fanny patted his shoulder. "After all I want to, I can't. I'm legally married to Cam."

Gaston looked at him in horror. "You lied!"

"Of course not!"

They keep arguing. Fanny just found out what it's like to have a nosy sister. Without feeling the car driven by Gaston entered the yard of the Rodriguez family residence. Fanny's guts suddenly shriek. la know Darren Rodriguez is a big businessman on par with Cam. He should not be surprised. However, after seeing this luxurious mansion, Fanny hesitated. "I'll just go home" whispered Fanny, she refused to go down.

Gaston took off his seatbelt. "Hey, you've come this far!"

"But what if they reject me. You know the rumors about me have been spreading badly among the conglomerates in Manchester. They must have heard it. I'm afraid they'll kick me out."

"I told them I found you. So, you can't escape. They've been waiting."

"Hey! Just like!"

"Come on." Gaston opened the car door. Fanny meng ringing. "Don't try to escape. You're one step away from meeting your parents. Or, you want to go back to that guy's house?"

Back to Cam's house? Fanny is not. At least for tonight.
