No one could imagine how shocked Cain was once he saw the figure of Chlari being among the black-robed herd that was none other than Schatten. There were various speculations that popped up in his brain spontaneously. He had suspected Chlari's suspicious movements, but he did not expect Chlari to be part of Schatten.
Moments after everyone who was there walked into the room with the door left open, Cain realized he was trapped. He again thought of the various possibilities that would come after this: he would be tortured, die, or tortured to death.
His body immediately stiffened as the sound of footsteps began to sound closer to him. Someone is aware of his existence. With all of his heart Cain held his breath until the tightness was overwhelming and began to step as quietly as he could. His heart raced quickly and a cloud of sweat began to fall from his face.
Every step he took felt so heavy and tense. I do not know how far he walked from his position earlier, but he could still hear the sound of the footsteps that did not dim.
His steps instantly came to a halt as soon as he saw the sturdy wall before him. He gulped his saliva hard and instantly turned his body with bated breath. There's nothing he can do. He would be tortured, killed, or tortured to death.
As soon as the owner of the step arrived before Cain, he immediately widened his eyes.
"Sister Chlar.." Cain.
"Cloths.. Why are you here?" Chlari asked with a whispering voice and a slightly anxious face.
"Why.. Chlar's brother is here?" Reply Cain.
"Listen to me, Cain. You have to trust me and follow my words. I swear I'll get you out of here. But for that, I have to hurt you." Chlari said in a hurry.
Without waiting for a reaction from Cain, Chlari immediately slid her sword into Cain's stomach and punched her face and body hard. Cain immediately fell to the floor and groaned in pain. Chlari then slashed the sword at some parts of Cain's body and his body to make them look to fight in earnest. He also slashed his sword to several places on his body so that scratches were created there.
After ringing the sword for a few minutes, Chlari carried Cain's blood-soaked body slowly and took him to another member of Schatten.
At that time, in Chlari's brain began to formulate a plan that he would do to get Cain out of the cursed place.
•••
Cain tried to maintain his consciousness with great difficulty after hanging himself with both hands tied in chains and being tortured all night. His entire body was in excruciating pain and drops of blood dripped slowly from the wounds on his stomach.
Chlar's brother is unforgiving.. Her.. Unwilling me and torturing me without hesitation.. Inner Cain.
He then looked back at the male figure of— whom he thought was guarding him— was sitting while putting on a flat face. The man then stepped away from the room after being seen talking on a green circle that floated in front of his face.
Cain sighed as soon as he felt a little relieved the man was gone. He then remembered Achromos. I don't know why the feeling is bad. He really wants to go home. If only he could teleport to Chraz, or telepathize with Achromos.
"Sir Achro.." Mimic.
After a few minutes, Chlari appeared from behind the door. He looked at Cain who looked awful with an unpredictable look. Cain stared back at Chlari while half-deadly trying to stay sober. His eyes felt so heavy and his whole body was so painful.
"Sister.. Chlars.." Slowly flowed.
Chlari immediately placed her index finger in front of her lips, hinting that Cain would not make a sound.
"Be quiet, Cain." Whisper with a smile. "It will begin soon."
"What?" Cain asked for an explanation.
"I'm gonna get you out of here. I told Aram something, he won't kill you. I'll save Achromos."
"Sister.. Achro?" Ask Cain again.
Chlari's face instantly turned serious. His smile instantly receded. "Achromos is in danger, Cain."
Cain immediately furrowed his brows from not understanding.
"My plan will go well if you cooperate with me." Chlari. "Achromos will die if we don't do something."
"Died..?" Cain's eyebrows were further contorted to hear it.
"Chroma is very dangerous, Cain. Far more dangerous than all the members of Schatten being made one. If everything is left unchecked, it will be very dangerous."
"I don't understand.." Cain shook his head in surprise, barely able to digest Chlari's entire words. What else is his consciousness that has almost disappeared makes it difficult to think.
"You must have known Xerra, right?"
Cain froze at the word. Yes, the whole thing that happened was closely related to Xerra, and also Chroma. Cain's initial mission is to investigate the origins of Chroma once Achromos discovers an ancient book that tells of an extinct clan with the exact same traits as Chroma: the: silver hair and gold eyes. Although at that time Achromos has not been able to ascertain who Chroma is, but his golden eyeball cannot be denied. It was the color of the eyes that he had never found. And what surprised Achromos the most was: the coat of arms of the clan was a mandala emblem that was exactly the same as the Schatten coat of arms. This made many questions arise in the mind of Achromos, until finally he asked Cain to investigate. After Cain investigated various books, documents, and went to various places, Cain found something.
Xerra. A mysterious power possessed only by one of the clan members. And for some reason, that person is Chroma.
"Xerra is inside Chroma's body. But that's not the problem. If it all repeats itself, Achromos will die." Chlari. His black eyes looked at Cain's blue eyeballs deeply. "Cain, I want you to swear to save Achromos if anything happens to me."
Chlari had not had time to explain everything, the sound of footsteps made the two silence for a moment. Chlari hints that Cain is pretending to be unconscious and Cain obeys her immediately.
After which, Shienna appeared with a lazy look and looked at Chlari in full search.
"You may have ordered me to do all this." Protest's bad.
"Oh, come. I just want you to control it so that our attack power increases. Pretty, right?" Chlari said with a smile.
"What's the point of controlling a dying person for attack? At least a minute later he's dead." Shienna grumbled while creating a sea-blue magic circle.
"Then just heal him." The Chlari knot. "Let me heal."
Again, Shienna stared at Chlari full of probes. But he was lazy to think about it because he was concentrating on controlling spells that were quite difficult to do.
At that time Chlari did not expect the arrival of Achromos who was so fast and would suddenly destroy his plan to save Cain and Achromos.
•••
The sound of rain falling down quite profusely rang out faintly from within the room. The temperature in the dark room was so cold with the air getting humid because of the raindrops that seeped through the sidelines of the stone. Aram was still speechless as he looked an angry look at Chlari, and Chlari gulped her saliva in agitation. He knew this was very risky, but this was all he could do to find out what Aram was really about. Aram knows Xerra better than he does. Maybe there's something he can do to save Achromos. Thirteen years he recognized Aram made him very know Chroma is a figure that is so important for Aram. All this time he thought it was because of Xerra who was in Chroma's body. But it doesn't seem to be just that. The proof is that Aram is currently angry with him. If it was Xerra who was Aram's goal, wouldn't Chroma have become a useless pawn? Chlari risks everything and decides to think that it is not just Xerra that Aram is after. And it has to do with Achromos.
Until finally—after thinking long enough—ia decided to do something very extreme. If he gets an answer from Aram, he will kill Chroma. If he does not get an answer from Aram, he will still kill Chroma before Aram kills him. But at the moment he is convinced a second possibility is going to happen.
"Jawab I'm Aram." Said Chlari with a throat that was so sore. He was still trying to turn things around, hoping Aram would answer him obediently.
Meanwhile, Cain who felt it was a precious opportunity for him swiftly took out his sword. Just as he was about to step up, Achromos immediately held his hand.
"What are you gonna do??" The scales of Achromos panic. He did not want Cain to add to the already complicated problem.
"I'll help Brother Chlar!" Reply Cain. He immediately slapped Achromos' hand and darted towards Aram at high speed.
Without further ado—with an attack so fast that it is barely visible to the eyes—Cain unsheathed his sword right into the heart of Aram. All pairs of eyes immediately stared at the incident in surprise. Cain's accuracy and speed are absolutely incredible.
"Cloth!" Achromos.
Cain let go of his sword violently and looked Aram in the eye with a hunting breath. I don't know why he was feeling nervous. There was something wrong with Aram's expression. Though clearly the sword in his hand had pierced through Aram's body, and fresh blood flowed from there. What else he stabbed him right in the heart. Shouldn't Aram be dead by now?
"What..what are you doing?" Said Aram slowly.
Cain stepped back, sensing danger. Aram then looked up and looked at Cain with his blood-soaked red eyeballs. There were no flashes of anger or any emotion there. But Cain knew something bad was going to happen.
Immediately, Chlari immediately released Chroma and ran against Aram. He also realizes there is something strange with Aram and Cain in great danger.
Just a split second after Chlari stood before Cain, a sudden burst of blood spurted from her mouth. Everyone was stunned for not understanding what was going on. Chlari immediately coughed hard and fell to the ground.
"Sister.. Chlars.." Cain said in disbelief. He knelt down next to Chlari.
From Chlari's left chest, blood just flowed out— making a wide red puddle around her body. His breath seemed to be wheezing and his vision began to blur.
"Chuck!" Achromos immediately ran up to Chlari and sat down next to him.
"What.. what happened?" Said Ruu in disbelief.
"Sister.. Chlars.." Cain sobbed as he looked at the already helpless Chlari.
"Fuu! Quickly treat him!!" Achromos. The stunned Fuu immediately flinched and thrashed towards them. Frantically his hand began to press the cloth from his shirt which he placed on Chlari's chest to stop the blood flowing profusely.
"Sorry.kan.. Cain's.. Achromus.." Chlari.
"Why are you sorry?!" Achromos Protest. "Explain everything you've been hiding to me!"
"Achromos.in my room.in my desk drawer.there's a book.." Chlari said with great difficulty. He took a key out of his pocket and gave it to Achromos.
"Don't talk, Prince Chlari!" Fuu exclaimed as he continued to try to stop the bleeding that continued to occur.
"I'm sorry. I. because I can't. be a good sister.." Chlari said again. "I'm sorry. I couldn't save.. Mother.."
"Saving Mother?" Achromos was shocked to hear Chlari's words. His head nodded slowly. "I don't understand."
Chlari just smiled as she looked at Achromos and Cain wistfully. Chlari often fantasized, what if the three of them were just ordinary people, ordinary sisters, in an ordinary house, with ordinary parents? Will all the tragedies that have happened not exist in their lives? Perhaps they were currently working in the fields together, or chatting casually in the meadow. Maybe his father and mother can live in harmony. Maybe Achromos will be difficult to get a lover because of his cold attitude. Maybe Cain will often be given chocolate by the grandmother next door because of his adorable attitude. Perhaps Chlari would laugh once she saw the two. Might as well..
Maybe this was not the time for her to be happy. He knew it was all a delusion. But. would he be wrong if he wished that way?
If only..
If only..
all hope in this world will be fulfilled..
I will pray for the happiness of Achromos and Cain every day..
Surely I will pray Mother comes back to life and accompany us..
I'll pray you turn into a good father..
Aahs..
Will I.. die?
If only I had time..
I want to be a good brother to Achromos and Cain..
But in the end, I failed to save them..
"I'm sorry.. Achromus.. Cain's.."
Goodby..
With a voice that almost disappeared, Chlari said a word that then stopped just like that. His eyes then closed tightly with tears dripping down his cheeks.
"Chris?" Get Achromos. "Chuck off!! Chrun!!!"
Fuu who was still pressing Chlari's wounds pulled her hand slowly. He looked down at the first prince of Chraz Kingdom who had closed his eyes wryly.
"Sister.. Chlars.." Isaac Cain. "It's all my fault.."
"What the fuck are you, Chlari!" Achromos protested while shaking Chlari's shoulder violently. "Why did you close your eyes?? Why didn't you say anything?? Why didn't you tell me?? You've never acted like a big brother!! Why just now???"
Achromos fell silent while adjusting his hunting breath. He then released Chlari's shoulder weakly.
"Why do you. endure it all alone?" Achromos's voice was immediately blocked as tears trickled from his eyeball.
All this time, he hated Chlari so much. Never once did he consider Chlari as his older brother. He swore he would kill her one day. When Cain says that Chlari did all this to save him, Achromos doesn't believe him. He feels that Chlari really intends to save him. He thinks that Chlari took advantage of Cain's sincerity and deceived him. But at this moment, his heart felt like it had been pierced by a thousand swords, struck with a rock, and squeezed to shreds. His hand clasped his chest tightly. The pain he felt was so overflowing that he wanted to scream as loud as he could.
"ahahahahah.. Ahaha.. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Aram slashed hard while holding his left chest which is now not injured in the slightest. The echoing laughter was so contradictory to the tears rolling down her cheeks. His hand has returned to holding Chroma—'s body which is left lying just like that— tightly. His whole eye was focused on him.
"You can't kill me, too bad." He said while grinning happily. "I can't die."
At that moment, Achromos got up and darted and drew his sword at Aram. His eyes showed such a great blaze of anger and hatred. He managed to stab Aram's heart with his sword and then retract it with a penalty.
But the entire pair of eyes were again startled by what happened one second after that.
•••
"Astheri akashri arba."
A whisper was heard so clearly in Chroma's ear, making her start to wake up.
The dark...
What the hell is going on?
Where am I?
Why can't I see anything?
Did I... die?
Chroma's closed eyes began to blink slowly. A speck of faint light began to be seen. He also began to feel an excruciating pain that spread rapidly throughout his body, making him very confident he was not dead.
When Chroma was finally able to open her eyes wide, she caught many figures who were silent without a sound. Right in front of him, Achromos stood with a sword in his hand. His eyes were wide open and from his mouth a deep red liquid dripped.
"Achro.. mos..?" Chroma said slowly.
Shortly before falling to the floor, Achromos was able to stare at Chroma for an instant. When his sturdy body collided with the floor, Chroma was fully aware of what was happening.
"Achromos!!" Pekik Chroma was shocked.
When he finally realized he was being carried by someone, he immediately looked up and found Aram's grinning face with wet eyes.
"Well, you're aware apparently, my dear Chroma." Said Aram while peeling Chroma's head. "I'm in mourning right now. Don't you want to entertain me?"
I don't know what Chroma is feeling right now. He no longer knows. What's more he then realized Chlari's body was also lying covered in blood and Cain who was sculpting was surprised by the tears that continued to flow.
"What..have you done?" Chroma said slowly.
Aram just smiled and just spread his shoulders.
"Eitherway. I just kept quiet without doing anything." Relaxed words.
Chroma looked at Aram's eyeball with an unpredictable look.
Aram smiled faintly, as if he knew what was inside Chroma's mind at the moment. He then brought his lips closer to Chroma's ear and whispered, "Just do it."
Again, no one knows for sure what happened, but Aram immediately fell to the floor, making Chroma jump and stand next to him.
"ARAM!!" Juna, Jona, and Fen together. They rushed to Aram with difficulty because they had to carry the injured Jona.
Chroma—who somehow had his hands covered in blood— stared at Aram with a blank look. Her white dress is now deep red. Aram looked back at him with a smile. His breathing was wheezing and his body was bleeding.
Slowly, silvery rays appeared enveloping Aram's body. Chroma who regained consciousness immediately stepped back and looked towards Achromos.
"Achromos!!!" He knelt on the floor. His hand clenched tightly onto Achromos' powerless hand.
"Shanna.." Achromos.
Chroma had not had time to say anything more, suddenly her body was drawn to the silvery light that had now turned into a pillar of light. Achromos's hand stretched out, trying to reach Chroma's body which had now entered into the pillar of light.
"Shya!" Achromos. He clucked because his body could not move.
"What's going on??" Chroma panicked. He could barely see anything there.
Once Chroma's entire view had been covered in light, Chroma then saw something so shocking.
Something that would change his whole view of all the things that had happened.
