Chapter 21: Ch[ier] Run

"Who are y'all? Just interrupt my fun!" Jona grumbled at the three people who had just arrived.

"Oh, forgive us." Said the redhead. "Include me, my name is Ruu. The black haired one behind me is called Fuu, and the gray haired one next to him is called Kuu."

"I didn't ask your names!" Jona was upset.

"Who? Didn't you ask who we were?" Reply to Ruu while pretending to be astonished.

"Curtain! It's up to you! If you want to play, no problem! You're gonna die!" Reply Jona.

"Ckckck, there's no need to be angry like that. I'll tell you. We are Sol, the personal bodyguard of King Achromos who was never considered." Answer Ruu.

"Personal bodyguard?" Jona raised her eyebrows in surprise. He just heard Achromos has a personal bodyguard.

"Yes, personal bodyguard. His Majesty Braz ordered us to be the personal bodyguards of King Achromos, but the king never wanted to be escorted by us." Ruu sighed while shaking her head.

"Shut up!" Achromos's his wound is being treated by Fuu. "Who wants to be escorted by Braz's men?!"

"Shut up, King. You're making it hard to treat your wounds." Complain Fuu flatly.

"You're quiet too!" Achromos. "What are you here for?! I've never ruled you once, have I?!"

"Indeed not you, but His Eminence Braz." Sambar Kuu's.

"Huh???" Achromos said he did not believe it.

"He said 'I do not want the foolish king to die for his own folly. I'll be the one to bother because I have to be king again. Cain also disappeared out of nowhere, so I can't have him replace his stupid brother. If I were king again, it would be very troublesome. I don't have time for fun'." Imitate Ruu while demonstrating Braz's movements.

You insolent! Achromos in the heart.

"Then, where is he now??" Ask Achromos.

"Attractory on the east coast." Answer Kuu.

I swear I will kill him if he comes back later!!! Achromos clenched his fingers in annoyance while imagining what he would do to Braz if they met again.

"Hey, don't ignore me!!!" Strangled Jona furiously.

"Oh, forgive us! We forgot we were fighting!" Said Ruu while chuckling softly.

Jona immediately clucked and re-installed her jigsaw. Ruu, Fuu, and Kuu's views also instantly turned serious. They then pulled out their swords swiftly.

"Then, let's start the party." Ruu said with a smile.

"That's my word." Reply Jona while grinning.

In a dimly lit room, Chlari and Shienna sat down without opening their voices. From that moment Chlari could not take her eyes off Shienna who looked so sad. Of course Shienna felt sad. He was the first Schatten member, and he knew Aram much longer than the rest. Chlari also knew, Shienna loved Aram wholeheartedly.

"Chier... Why do you think Aram did all this?" Shienna asked, opening her mouth.

"Hm.." he muttered. "I don't understand either, who knows only Aram himself. Aram never told us anything, did he? He always kept it alone." Chlari answered while looking somewhere.

"Is there no other way?" Said Shienna again.

"I don't know.." Chlari said slowly. "But Aram decided it long before we met him, and I'll respect that decision."

"Me too!!" Sambar Shienna won't lose. "I also appreciate his decision.."

"In that case, all we can do is support Aram." Chlari showed her warm smile for a moment. His hand then grabbed Shienna's tiny body and hugged her tightly. The fragile Shienna currently received Chlari's embrace with pleasure. He hugged Chlari tightly. Chlari's heart throbbed pain for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry, Shienna.." Chlari whisperer.

Unexpectedly, a long blade pierced through Shienna's skin to the heart. Shienna who was shocked barely twitched. His eyes were round in disbelief.

"Chi..er..? What is.. you—?" Not yet finished the words Shienna said, her consciousness had already given up first once Chlari had retracted her knife. Her beautiful eyes were now closed and her body was drooping limp.

Chlari still hugged Shienna's body tightly. He kissed Shienna's head gently. Clear droplets drained his cheeks. He smiled a bitter smile with a broken heart.

"Good sleep... My poor shienna." Chlari Whispe.

Aram was stunned from his daydream once he felt something unusual. His heart rang and his heart ached. He did not understand what he was feeling.

"What's this?" Mumbled slowly.

Shortly after, someone appeared from behind the door, looking at Aram with an unusual gaze. The man appeared while holding a golden-haired woman who was drowning with blood.

"Shienna?!" Pekik Aram shocked. He rushed over. "What happened to him, Chier??"

"Shienna. is dead.." Chlari replied while showing such a sad face.

"No. maybe.." Aram said in disbelief. "No way!!!"

"I don't want to believe either.." Chlari looked at Aram with her wet eyes, making Aram instantly kneel to the floor.

Aram stared at Shienna's figure with eyes that were now spitting out water droplets. His hands shook violently. He felt an incredible pain in his heart. He swore he would not let them die. They are family to him.

"Shienna.. Shienna.." - Y.." Ogled Aram while rubbing Shienna cheeks that were now pale and cold.

"Who..?" Ask Aram. "WHO KILLED HIM????"

"Achromos."

Aram instantly disappeared into a puff of black smoke in an instant, leaving Chlari who was still speechless. Chlari took Shienna down from her carrier and wiped her tears. He slowly moved his feet towards where Chroma lay.

"You'll catch up with Shienna, Chroma." Chlari muttered while looking at Chroma coldly.

"Thuk!!! Uhuuk!!!" Suddenly Chlari coughed violently to bleed. He squeezed his chest firmly, enduring the pain that was so piercing.

"There's no time.." He said while removing the bloodstains on his lips.

He then carried Chroma's tiny body and disappeared into a puff of black smoke.

"Sir Achro!!" Cain suddenly immediately rushed to embrace Achromos who has now been treated with wounds and able to stand back.

"Cain?!" Achromos was shocked. "You're sober??"

"I'm sorry.." Cain looked at Achromos with a face crying like a child. Achromos immediately hugged Cain and rubbed his head.

"It's okay, Cain. My fault. I'm sorry, too." Achromos said with a smile.

"Why can he move??" Jona said in shock as soon as she saw Cain. His hands were still busy fending off the attacks from Sol.

"Hey, if you're focusing wrong, your heart could be hollow in an instant.." Ruu said as she continued to attack Jona, making Jona cluck with annoyance.

"Shienna cast a spell on him, right? The spell can only come off if the reader of the spell releases it himself or he dies. If the spell were to suddenly break without Shienna releasing it that would mean..." Fen was silent without continuing his words.

"Shienna.. die?" Juna was almost stuck.

Hearing that, Jona came to a halt in surprise. The opportunity was taken without further ado by Sol who immediately attacked with strings attached.

JEBE!! JEBE!! JEBE!!

Jona, who was late in reciting the protective spell, inevitably accepted Sol's attack freely until her body was now filled with sword stab wounds.

"Gona!!!" Jerit Juna while approaching his twin sister in panic.

Fen immediately confronts Sol to give Juna time to save Jona.

"Jona! You need to be treated!!" Juna panicked.

"No.. Juna. You have to protect Aram.." Firm Jona.

Suddenly a puff of black smoke appeared with a loud bang, making all eyes instantly turn to the source of the sound. From the black smoke puffed out, came the figure of Aram who looked so angry. His eyes still shed tears nonstop.

"THECHROMOSS!!!!" Aram Seru.

With lightning fast, Aram was suddenly in front of Achromos, making Achromos can barely do anything. Just as Aram's sword was about to penetrate Achromos' heart, Aram's hand stopped moving. He did not continue his attack and stared soundlessly. Achromos—, who was surprised to forget to breathe, immediately breathed a sigh of relief even though his heart was still roaring fast. Then suddenly, a puff of black smoke appeared in the room again.

"ARAM!!" Chlari cried with her hand holding the knife she pointed at Chroma's neck. Aram who was still sculpting immediately looked at it quickly.

"Chier??" Pekik Aram shocked. "Why are you—?"

"I killed Shienna." Chlari.

"CHIERR!!!!" Jona exclaimed furiously.

"Chlaris??" Achromos.

"Prince Chlari?!" Excited member Sol.

"If you don't want me to kill Chroma, tell me right now, what's your real purpose?" Ask Chlari.

"Chier..." Aram who usually grinned was now staring at Chlari full of anger. All the Schatten members, including Chlari herself, knew how Aram was angry. What else does Aram currently have the power of Xerra. It was inconceivable how much power he would unleash.

"Chlari, release Chroma!!" Achromos cried while looking at Chlari sharply.

"Take me, Aram." Firmly Chlari regardless of Achromos. He pressed the knife in his hand until a bit of blood flowed down Chroma's thin neck.

A gripping silence instantly filled the entire room. The air around me felt heavy. The killing aura of the pitch-black Aram was now shrouding its body, making everyone there shudder in horror.

"Chier. You're making me mad." Aram said slowly and flatly. But the whole room knew something dangerous was about to happen. Chlari swallowed her saliva with all her might. He could imagine what would happen in a moment.

"Sir Achro!!" Whisper Cain panicked. "Sister.must save Chlar!!"

"What do you mean, Cain??" Achromos. "He's my mother's killer who's pointing his knife at Chroma's neck!"

Cain immediately shook his head strongly.

"Sister.wrong!! Chlar's brother is not a bad man! Brother Chlar. did this all for.."

"saved.. Brother Achro!"
