Chroma and Achromos

Chapter 16: The Chaos

Jane looked at her reflected self in the mirror while humming. She was trying on a new dress given by her father. The day after tomorrow, Vhor promised to visit him. He will take a short break while reporting to Shevo. It's been a long time that Jane hasn't seen Vhor, of course she feels amazingly happy.

Tok tok!

Jane looked at herself just before she came to the door. He opened the door quickly.

"There's ap—" His words stopped as soon as he saw a brown-haired male figure he didn't know. Jane retreated backwards, feeling a little scared. What else did that person stare at Jane sharply.

"W-who are you? Why did you get in here??" Ask Jane.

"You.. Princess Jane?" Ask the guy.

"Jawab my question!" Jane Exclamations.

"Sorry, Princess. I don't have time for that."

JEBE!!

A sword suddenly pierced through Jane's body. Jane sculpting. Fresh blood started to spring from his chest. His gaze is getting more and more faint.

"To. napa.." He said before he finally fell down and closed his eyes.

"May you be blessed by God." Juna said as he flicked his sword— splashed the remaining blood stuck to his sword to the floor—and sheathed it to the waist. He then dropped the buttons of the military uniform of the Kingdom of Chraz.

"The servant is useful to the mouse." His whisper.

He then immediately turned around and walked over the body of the palace guards lying around with a flat face, as if it was an ordinary sight.

"That's three, the rest of one." Mumbled slowly.

Vhor walked through the corridors of Hecca's palace in a hurry. Suddenly he gets a call from Shevo. He was forced to leave Chraz and rushed back to Hecca.

"Your Majesty, Vhor is facing you." As soon as he reached Shevo's room.

"The vhor!! Vhori!! They betrayed us!! They're attacking us!!" Shevo cried in panic. He sobbed as he approached Vhor and grabbed his shoulder.

"Who are they, Your Majesty?" Ask Vhor.

"Chraz Kingdom!!! They betrayed us!! Jane's.. Stevia.. Fein.. Nein.. My child!! My kids!!!" Shevo yelled.

DEG!!!

Vhor's blood instantly boiled as soon as Jane's name was called. He looked at Shevo sharply.

"What's up with Princess Jane, Princess Stevia, Prince Fein, and Prince Nein??" Ask Vhor in a high tone.

"They.. They're.. They were all killed!!! Oh, son! My poor kids!!" Shevo didn't stop sniffing.

Vhor. He felt his ears misheard. Jane murdered? All the princesses and princes of the kingdom were killed? That's not possible!

"Ghor!" Call Shevo while tightening his grip on Vhor's shoulder. "We must repay them!! I will not forgive!! Prepare the entire royal army to attack Chraz!! There should not be a single one of them left!!"

Vhor looked at Shevo with a sharp look then nodded.

"I understand." His word.

He got up and stepped out of the room. He gritted his teeth furiously and clenched his hands tightly. He punched the wall next to him with all his might, leaving a crack there. The killing aura felt so dense around him. He could no longer think clearly. The one in his head right now was one, killing everyone in Chraz Kingdom.

"Chraz.. I will not forgive!!!" Snarled.

Achromos immediately tightened his embrace as soon as Chroma finished telling her past. He now understood why Chroma exploded when she found the mandala emblem on her stomach. The head of Chroma is gently rubbed.

"Achromos, I have to go.." Chroma.

"What do you mean?" Ask Achromos.

"I'll destroy everything." Answer Chroma with a twist.

"No, Chroma! I'll protect you! I promise! I'll beat Schatten!" Achromos.

"No, Achromos. You won't be able to beat them. They are not ordinary people! They have terrible power! They'll kill everyone who's near me!" Chroma.

"But—"

"I have to go." Chroma said firmly. He broke away from the embrace of Achromos slowly. His golden eyeballs were now staring at Achromos with certainty.

"Chroma, your body is weak. If you go, what about you?" Ask Achromos while holding Chroma's cheek.

Chroma smiled thinly. He looked at Achromos with great sadness.

"Achromos, I don't want to see my loved ones leave anymore. I told you, right?" His word.

For some reason, Achromos felt something from Chroma's speech and gaze. He has a bad feeling.

"You.. plan to turn yourself in?" Tanya Achromos was almost stuck.

Chroma did not answer. He just smiled at Achromos who was now glued. Achromos then shook his head while looking down.

"I won't let it!" Achromos disagrees.

"Achromos, this was my problem from the beginning. This has nothing to do with you, nor the people in Chraz Kingdom. If anything happens to the people in Chraz, I'll never forgive myself." Chroma.

"But, Chroma—"

Just as Achromos was about to protest at Chroma, Chroma suddenly coughed. He looks in pain. His hands were seen squeezing his stomach tightly.

"Chroma?? What's up??" Achromos panicked.

"Aaaargh!!!" Chroma groaned in pain.

Red light now emerged from Chroma's stomach. The mandala emblem that was once black is now turned into a deep red. Chroma was screaming loudly. His body suddenly flew into the air. His silver hair that had been along his back, now extended to his feet. Achromos panicked and tried to pull him down. Suddenly, Chroma stopped screaming and opened her eyes. His face turned into that of someone else.

"Where.. klauvhi?"

Chroma's voice changed as he said things that Achromos could not understand. Chroma's golden eyes were now fixedly staring at him.

"The chroma?" Call Achromos slowly.

He suddenly screamed again, making Achromos flinch. His tiny body then fell with his eyes closed. Achromos immediately caught it and grabbed Chroma tightly.

"What the hell is going on?" He muttered anxiously.

He immediately returned Chroma to the bed and touched the mandala emblem on Chroma's stomach slowly. He flinched and withdrew his hand as soon as he felt how hot the emblem was, like boiling water.

"What's wrong with Chroma?!" Excited frustration.

"Chroma, please don't let anything happen to you.." Whisper Achromos while rubbing Chroma's white cheeks.

"Your Majesty!! His Eminence Achromos!" A palace guard opened the door and approached Achromos, who was sitting on the side of the bed, not even knocking on his door.

"What's wrong? Why are you in such a hurry?" Ask Achromos.

"Yes-Your Majesty!! Forgive the sass of the servant!! It's an emergency!! At the palace gate.." That person adjusted his wheezing breath for a moment. He then swallowed.

"At the gate of the palace.the body of the investigation team.."

Achromos widened his eyes. He understood what the bodyguard meant and immediately ran out of the room towards the stables beside the palace. Arriving there he immediately climbed the horse he first saw and rushed to the gate of the palace. When the gate was seen, he found the royal guards crowding. He got off his horse and approached them in a hurry.

"Your Majesty!!" Calls the guards.

Achromos looked at the sight before him. Three lifeless bodies were nailed to the palace gate. They were covered in blood and wounds. At the gate too, a large mandala emblem was inscribed with blood.

"Your Majesty.. We found this too.." Said one of the bodyguards while giving something to Achromos.

Achromos noticed the object and was immediately shocked. He fell to his knees on the ground. It was Cain's white military uniform. And the uniform is now tattered accompanied by a thick blood stain.

"Ca. in.." Sluggishly. He then hit the ground hard.

"I won't forgive.. I WILL NOT FORGIVE! !!!!!!" Achromos cried with rage.

"Yes-Your Majesty!!!" Called one of the royal guards. They all looked out the gate.

"What else?!" Achromos cried with anger.

"Co-city.. City burning!!!"

Achromos immediately got up and looked at the city in front of him. The position of the palace on the hill makes it able to see the entire royal city. This time Achromos really did not wart. The whole city was engulfed in flames. Black smoke soared into the blue sky.

"Your Majesty!!! That's the flag of the Kingdom of Hecca!!!!"

"Now, which pawn will fall first?" Mumbled Aram while grinning. He sipped coffee in his cup casually.

"Aram, I've finished it." Juna said as he entered the room.

"Ooh, Juna! Hurry up too." Aram Tymphal.

"Then, what should we do now?" Ask Chier.

"Hm.. How about we get him now? I think it's starting to react." Aram said as he put the coffee cup on the table while getting up.

"You sure? Aren't they fighting each other right now?" Ask Shienna.

"Haha! That's exactly what it's for! What do you think I'm gonna do to make Hecca attack Chraz? Right now the stupid Chraz king must inevitably have to fight Hecca and forget her for a moment. That way we can take it easy, right?" Aram said while wearing his black robe.

"You are always alone, Aram! Can't you say your whole plan clearly?!" Jona exclaimed in annoyance.

"heeh? What should I explain it to? The important thing is that everything is going well, right? Nevermind! We better leave now. Juna and Shienna are the only ones coming with me! I don't need a noisy person!" Syndir Aram while glancing at Jona who now looks increasingly upset.

"Who would want to go with you??! I'm sick of it too!!" Jona Seru.

"Aram, you mean I'm noisy too?" Ask Fen.

"Me too?" Ask Chier.

"Oh, no, Fen, Chier. I just need someone to guard the base! I can't relax leaving Jona alone here." Reply Aram while whining away.

Juna and Shienna tailed behind Aram. But suddenly Aram stopped his steps.

"Oh yeah, Chier." He said while looking back. "I hope you didn't do anything rash, yeah. And Fen, please take care of Hecca."

Aram throws his smile at Chier before he disappears along with Juna and Shienna.

"Curtain! Why would he accept a suspicious person like you, anyway?!" Oceh Jona glanced at Chier.

"What do you mean suspicious?" Chier asked with a smile.

"Look!! That's what I mean! You always smile in any circumstance! It makes you hard to read!!" Jona Seru.

"hee? Didn't he? Isn't that just you who don't have the ability to read me?" Chier Goda.

Jona was already preparing to pull out her sword as Fen's hand gripped her firmly.

"Don't do anything stupid." Said Fen.

"Curtain! Everyone pisses me off!" Jona grumbled while kicking the table.

Aram hummed cheerfully once they reached Chraz's palace. He stared at the blazing flames this bright morning.

"Wow! The Kingdom of Hecca is unmitigated!" Exclaims jolly.

He then resumed his steps towards a room. As soon as he opened the door, he found Chroma sleeping on the bed. He immediately grinned as he approached her.

"My dear Chroma, I'm coming to pick you up." He said while holding Chroma's body.

"Juna, please make a mandala emblem on the wall. Blood, yes. Let it look cool!" Aramaic Pinta.

Juna simply nodded and slashed his hands without further ado. He made a mandala emblem on the wall with his own blood.

"Now, everything is in order! Let's go back!" Bring Aram.

The three of them instantly gathered and read a spell. Their bodies then turned into black smoke which instantly disappeared in an instant.
