“I WILL MARRY HIM.”
“APAAA??” peeker Tirta unconsciously.
“Hey, lower your voice! You want to wake them.”
Tirta regained her senses, then took a deep breath to overcome her shock.Ervan's sudden speech, making her flinch without realizing the place of her existence. He turned to the patient's bed, then looked at the sleeping baby beside him. There was no reaction between the two, making Tirta re-arrange his sitting position and continue their conversation with a voice whispering to each other.
“Are you crazy? Is he married? You don't see, she already has a child.”
Instantly Ervan fell silent into a thousand languages, Tirta's speech was like a crushing blow to him. Losing before starting, the bright idea just popped up, forgetting the facts before him.
Tirta reached into his pocket, when a notification came in his phone. He opened the message just sent by his men, read it at a glance and gave his phone to Ervan.
“I think you guys have a destiny to meet.”
Ervan did not answer, he focused on reading the message in Tirta's phone while grinning. Tirta just shook her head, then moved to take the food order that was waiting for her in front of the door of the patient's room. He then went back in, carrying three servings of food and a bottle of drink.
On the sofa, Ervan was receiving a phone call. He spoke in a whispering voice, distancing the phone from his ear as the voice behind the phone repeatedly shouted at him.
“Ma, stop! Okay. Now, I'm in the hospital again. Tomorrow I'll go home and tell you everything.” Ervan cut off the phone unilaterally, without waiting for a reply from her mother who was across the phone.
Tirta put the food on the table and began to arrange it. He didn't ask Ervan about someone calling him. Because without asking, from the look on Ervan's face was clear, who had made his mood bad.
Well, cloudy again. Intar, there will be thunderbolts.
Three servings of food were already on the table, but there was no movement between them to start dinner. Both of them, just staring at the food, their appetite just vanished. At a time like this, Alan appeared wearing ordinary clothes, because his working hours were over. He pushed the baby carriage, carrying snacks and food inside. This man, already intending to spend the night with them.
“You waiting for me? Wow, I happen to be hungry,” he said while sitting next to Tirta. Then, put food and snacks on the table.
Ervan and Tirta did not reply, both following Alan's movements began to open his food and devour it. As the three were enjoying a quiet dinner, suddenly the boy woke up without a sound. He slowly sat down and looked at the three foreign men eating around him. His round eyes blinked several times, circulating his gaze as if looking for someone.
Ervan and Tirta's bodies froze, as the boy sat between them. Alan, who was beside Tirta, hinted that they should not move, as if a snake would peck. The boy crawled on the couch, grabbed Ervan's arm and moved to sit on his lap. The three focused on looking at the child, without making a sound. They are curious, the next behavior.
“Mam,”
“Hah?” Answer them simultaneously.
“What did he say just now?” ervan asked his two best friends.
“I don't know,” replied Tirta who was still staring at the boy.
“I also don't understand baby language,” added Alan.
“Mam, mam,” said the boy again while trying to reach Ervan's lunchbox.
“Ooohhh, Eat.” The three answered compactly while laughing.
All three were laughing, imagining in their minds, Tirta and Ervan imagined the child trying to reach for the bottle of milk, by moving the mouth somehow what letters came out of his mouth until a single word was formed, which Ervan and Tirta still did not understand even in their minds.
While Alan, on the contrary, the boy did not reach for the bottle of milk, but approached his mother who only wore a bra to prepare for breastfeeding, and in an instant the child turned into Ervan. Instantly Alan was stirring himself, laughing shaking his head at Ervan, who had already looked at him in wonder.
“Why look at me? Does your dirty brain work anymore?”
“No, no, don't accuse me,” kilah.
“I'm sure you're imagining something strange, the way you see me is already very clear,” Ervan recalls
“Why are you so sure. I was just staring at the kid, it looks like he's starving.” Shift his eyes, then take out the lunchbox he was carrying. “Give this to him.”
“Port?” ask Ervan .
“Of course, slurry. You want to give me your food, which is filled with red.”
Ervan receives the lunchbox, without taking her eyes off the suspicious looking Alan. He started scooping the porridge and pointed it at the child's mouth slowly. The boy shook his head and tried to grab the spoon .
“What do you want? Quickly open your mouth!”
“Mam... mam..mam,” replied the boy, still trying to snatch a tablespoon.
“Yes, this is her mom. Quickly open your mouth!” said Ervan again who was getting upset. The boy did not respond, he closed his mouth tightly, every time Ervan pointed the spoon.
“Are you always like this? Trouble your mother?” Look at him with annoyance. “Luck me, unlike you when I was a baby.”
“Indeed, what is your baby time like?”
“Shut up, don't start, Alan.”
Alan and Tirta chuckled, put down their lunchbox, then sat down opposite the boy. “Come, baby open his mouth. Aaaa..”.
The boy, speechless, looked in wonder at Tirta and Alan who were opening their mouths wide at him. He turned his face, looking at Ervan who was also following the movements of the two men. Finally, he opened his mouth, took a mouthful of porridge from Ervan and chewed it slowly, followed by cheers from the three men who accompanied him.
“Good, come again, aaaa..” They went back to doing the same thing, until the porridge slowly began to diminish.
Before long, the boy again refused when Ervan again bribed him. He closed his mouth and turned his face away. Maybe because of the fullness, both eyes also look heavy and seem to be closed. But, he seemed to be fighting his drowsiness by rubbing his eyes.
“It seems, he was sleepy,” said Alan, then got up to take the baby carriage and lay it down.
“I want to like it, eat and sleep without having to think about tomorrow,” Tirta chirped.
“Then go back to being a baby. Let Alan take care of you.” Ervan.
Not who retorted, the two simply fell silent, staring at Ervan. The three of them, again continued eating dinner while joking. Well, this is the first time for them taking care of a child and this is also an unforgettable experience for them, especially Ervan who like back finding her smile.
