Now Ervan is staring at a photo of a girl he will meet tonight, complete with information about him. The photo was just sent by my mother. His mother hoped he would meet the girl in the picture. The girl with a beautiful face was perfect, but it did not make her heart move at all. I don't know what kind of girl he likes, he doesn't know. Ervan got up from her seat, walking towards the glass wall while looking out.
“Waste all.” Tirta immediately took all the photos, then threw them in the trash.
Almost two years have passed, Ervan has not yet forgotten the events that made his life unsettled, although the girl's face began to faint in his memory. There is no bond of love between the two of them, no bond of love between them, but since the girl left, Ervan's whole heart froze with her. The guilt that robbed his heart, made Ervan refuse to fall in love. The girl cursed herself, making her have absolutely no feelings for falling in love.
PREJUDGEMENT
Glass flakes were strewn across the floor, mixing with puddles of water. Ervan clenched her hands, landed her on the glass wall, then shouted in frustration. He felt tired of living with the shadow of a girl resting at his feet, begging him to take responsibility. He was angry because guilt kept pressing on his mind, making his whole body die with the girl.
“Are you happy now? Huh!” Shouting with his face.
Tirta just mutely saw Ervan, he could not do anything to help his boss and best friend. He knew very well the magnitude of guilt and regret that was embedded in Ervan's heart. Plus, the pressure of her parents who continue to match and force her to get married soon.
Tirta grabbed the phone on the table. “Utus someone to clean the CEO room,” Tirta orders on someone behind the phone.
Tock....Geck...Tock....
“Log in,” replied Tirta from indoors.
A girl wearing a cleaning service uniform came in with cleaning equipment. Walking slowly, his gaze locked, the CEO wrapped in a suit, stood in front of a glass wall, with crystal debris strewn across the surrounding floor.
DEG, He! Inner called.
He walked closer with his face down. Pick up large pieces of glass, one by one, and then put them in a garbage bag. Then, start cleaning the glass flakes with the cleaning tools it carries. When finished, he again made sure the floor was completely clean.
“I'm sorry, Mr.”
“Wait.” Stare sharply from the tip of the foot to the hair.
“I .. Yes, Sir.” Steadied because it got a look like it would strangle him.
“What we have met before?” Looking with a face that feels familiar.
DEG, UH,
“Ti .. no, Sir.” Hiding her face.
“Hemm.” Turned face. “Out.”
“Good, Sir.”
Ervan sat back down, sorting out some documents on the table, after venting his frustration. He read carefully, before inscribing the questioner. One of the documents attracted attention, making his memory retreat for a moment, then realized for a moment.
"Tirta, who is the QC responsible in our subsidiary in XX City?"
"Sebastian, he replaced Sarah, after she was fired."
Ervan's gaze turned piercing, his facial features warning Tirta, not to mention the name of the girl that sounded sacred to him.
"Never say his name, in front of me!"
"Sorry, I forgot."
My fault answered too much.
The time shows at five in the afternoon, which means the working hours are over. The employees one by one left the company, with cloudy weather coloring the sky that afternoon. Ervan who was still sitting in his great chair felt reluctant to leave the place. The atmosphere of the spatter was out there, complementing his worsening mood.
"Where should I go?" He muttered, then, picked up the phone and contacted Tirta. “Ke my room, now.”
Tirta arrived at the CEO's room in a hurry, how not, he was already in the car and preparing to leave. But, Ervan suddenly called out to him after he had just told him to go home first.
“Cute, me!” reigning, without letting Tirta catch his breath first..
“Where?” Still with breath going up and down.
Ervan did not reply, he stepped away with Tirta trailing behind him. The two enter the elevator, which will take them downstairs. The elevator doors opened, both of them coming out together without a word. Just a few steps on their feet to the floor, there was the sound of a child crying. The voice sounded soft and raspy as if the child had long drowned in his cries. Ervan and Tirta paused for a moment, then turned to the right and left looking for the source of the sound.
“You heard that?”
“Listen, Van.”
Their feet stepped back, following the source of the voice. But, it came to a halt again when they were unsure of the direction they were heading.
“You're sure the sound came from there?” Pointing to the toilet.
“I don't know."
Ervan followed Tirta in front of him. The closer their footsteps were, the more clearly the sound of the child's cry was heard. Tirta flicked her steps in front of the door that read ‘Toilet Wanita’. Tirta looked back, looking at Ervan as if asking, are we going inside?
“You're in!” the order of Ervan, who understood the intention of Tirta's gaze upon him.
“I, Van?” tirta replied, trying to protest.
“Yes, it's you. Time has to be me, who goes inside?”
“But, this is a ladies' toilet, Van.”
“Terus why? Quickly go in there.” Pushing Tirta's body into the woman's toilet.
Tirta found a boy about a year old, sitting next to his mother's body lying on the floor. Her tiny hands, shook her mother's body while continuing to cry.
“Mama,” her sobs, then hugs her mother's body.
Confused, what to do. He sat with his knees bent, aligning himself with the boy. Tirta brushed the woman's hair, pale face being her first look. Tirta shouted to Ervan who was still waiting for him in front of the toilet door.
“Van, fast login!” the order of Tirta who began to forget his position.
“What's up?” A moment to see the sight before him. "Woman why?"
"Looks like he fainted."
Ervan approached, looking at the woman's face, checking the pulse on her wrist. Then, lift up his body.
“You're doing, what? Quickly bring him!” Pointing the boy with his eyes.
Ervan walked first, leaving Tirta who was carrying the boy with a tote bag tipped over his shoulder. A security guard ran up to them, when he saw Ervan holding a woman in a hasty step.
“Sorry, sir," he said as he opened the car door
"It's okay." Put the woman's head on her thigh.
Tirta followed inside, giving a carrying case to the security guard to be placed in the seat next to the steering wheel. Meanwhile, he handed the boy over to Ervan, because he had to drive.
