Chapter 22 (Experiencing Trauma)

Nayla had been in the bathroom for a long time, and Jefri was so worried about Nayla's condition that she decided to knock on the bathroom door.

"Nay, you're okay, right?" jefri asked who started to panic, because there was no word from inside the bathroom.

Jefri decides to break down the bathroom door, and it turns out that Nayla is lying on the bathroom floor, making Jefri even more anxious.

"Nay, I'm sorry, Nay" Jefri said, holding Nayla out of the bathroom and laying her on the bed.

At the moment Nayla's body is hot, and Jefri feels even more guilty when he sees Nayla's body filled with possession marks made by her brutally, not to mention Nayla's wrist looks bruised because Jefri pulled Nayla's hand violently.

Jefri decides to take Nayla to the hospital after previously putting her clothes and headscarf on Nayla,

Jefri orders an online taxi to take Nayla to the Hospital, and after an online taxi ordered by Jefri arrives, Jefri rushes to hold Nayla who is currently still unconscious.

Along the way, Jefri is worried, and Jefri continues to blame himself for hurting Nayla.

Arriving at the Hospital, Jefri runs Nayla to the IGD room.

"Dok, please save my wife" Jefri said.

"Please go outside first, we will definitely do our best for the Patient" Nurse said by closing the door to the IGD room.

Andri who was feeling better, decided to take a walk to the Park, but Andri was surprised to see Jefri who ran carrying Nayla towards the IGD, who was on the run, until finally Andri approached Jefri who was currently sitting in front of the IGD room.

"So, what happened to Nayla? why did Nayla get into IGD?" asked Andri who looked panicked, but Jefri just kept quiet without answering Andri's question.

A moment later the Doctor came out from inside the IGD room, and Jefri immediately stood up to inquire about Nayla's condition.

"Dok, how's my wife doing?" ask Jefri.

"It looks like your wife has been subjected to sexual violence, and the Patient is traumatized by the events that have happened to her" replied the Doctor.

Andri who heard the words of the Doctor immediately pulled Jefri's shirt.

"Say, what did you do to Nayla?" asked Andri with a face that was flushed with anger.

"It's all my fault, because I'm too jealous of you and Nayla, I've also accused Nayla of sleeping with you, until I finally give the punishment to Nayla," Jefri replied softly.

Andri gave a raw bogem to Jefri, because Andri was infuriated by all that Jefri did.

"What kind of husband has hurt his wife? I do love Nayla, I love her very much, but I can't possibly ruin her honor" Andri shouted.

Security officers tried to break Andri who continued to blindly beat Jefri battered, but Jefri only remained silent without repelling Andri, because he was already guilty to Nayla.

After everything felt calmer, the Doctor raised his voice again.

"The patient can now be transferred to the treatment room."

"Move Nayla to my treatment room, so I can take care of her" Andri said, and Jefri remained silent without saying anything more.

After Nayla was transferred to Andri's treatment room, Andri continued to be next to Nayla by tightly grasping the hand of the woman she loved, while Jefri was seen sitting on the sofa by continuing to rough her hair.

Moments later, Nayla slowly opens her eyes, but Nayla is immediately frightened when she sees Jefri.

"Darling, I'm sorry" Jefri said, but Nayla immediately embraced Andri's body as Jefri tried to approach her.

"Mas, Nayla is afraid, she is a bad person, she has hurt Nayla" Nayla said, hugging Andri.

"Nay, you calm down, yes, Brother Jefri is not a bad person, he is your husband" said Andri.

"No, she's not Nayla's husband, she's a bad person" said Nayla, who still looks scared when she sees Jefri, and Jefri drops her body when she sees Nayla who is afraid of her.

"Nay, you don't punish me like this, I'm sorry I hurt you, Nay" Jefri said in tears.

"Go from here, go, go" cried Nayla hysterically, until finally the Doctor entered the treatment room Nayla and Andri.

"Doctor, tell that guy to go, he's a bad guy, he'll want to hurt me again" Nayla said in tears.

The doctor finally gives a sedative injection to Nayla who continues to cry hysterically like a person who has lost his sanity.

"Sorry Mas, Mas should not approach the Patient first, because at this time the Patient feels scared when he sees Mas, and I fear the patient's condition will get worse," said the Doctor to Jefri

"But he's my wife Doc" Jefri said.

"What kind of husband has hurt his own wife" Andri said.

"I beg you to understand, at this time the Patient needs calm, and later Mas can return to see him after the patient's condition is better, and it looks like the Patient must get treatment from a Psychiatrist to recover his trauma," explained the Doctor.

Jefri was further devastated to hear the words of the Doctor, and with a heavy heart finally Jefri relented and left the treatment room Nayla and Andri.

Jefri decides to return to basecamp, and he is so enraged when he sees Eliza who is already sitting in front of the terrace of the basecamp.

"Mas, where did you end up?" eliza asked who was about to embrace Jefri's body, but Jefri blocked Eliza with both hands.

"Don't approach me El, all this because of you" cried Jefri.

"What have I done with you? I helped you to dismantle the village woman's rot."

"Close your mouth Eliza, once again you insult my wife, I will not hesitate to hurt you" Jefri threatened, then rushed into the house, and slammed the door and locked it.

Eliza, who had been rejected by Jefri, decided to go home, and think of another way to get Jefri.

"Damn, why did I fail to instigate Jefri. I'd better set Jefri up to marry me, and I'll find the right time for the village woman herself to ask for a divorce from Jefri" Eliza murmured with a sly smile

Two hours later, Nayla regained consciousness, and now Nayla feels calmer because she no longer sees Jefri in her treatment room.

"Nay, you eat first yes so that it will heal soon," said Andri by feeding Nayla.

"Thank you, Mas" said Nayla softly.

"You don't have to say thank you, because I'm sincere in doing this. Previously you were the one who took care of me, and now it's my turn to take care of you, so that the two of us can get out of the Hospital immediately" Andri said.

"Mas, Nayla wants to go home, Nayla is afraid to be in Jakarta" said Nayla, who was frightened when she remembered Jefri who had been rude to her.

"Later Mas will be between Nayla after Nayla's condition is better, yes" said Andri by gently stroking Nayla's head.

"Mas didn't tell anyone this, did he?"
