Episodes 137. Ling'Er's Anger

Without a word of warning, the Goddess waved her hand in a sweeping motion. A dark palm surged forward, littering the air with raw terror.

Palm after palm descended into the surroundings as if the sky itself had fallen. Even the Yuanli within Ye Mo felt like lead, as if a palm had carved it together with his body.

“Young man, do you really think you can hide it from me? If you have given up on Me before and handed over your secret artifact, I can give you immense power. But it's too late now. The Spirit Eater Realm was the fifth stage in the True Energy Realm, and this allowed the user to directly attack the minds of others using their Gate of Mind. Now, I'll use this Mindbender technique on you to extract that memory!” Said the Goddess, still floating in the air. His eyes widened as an invisible current shot out from his mind and lunged at Ye Mo.

It was a powerful and evil energy, crippling Ye Mo completely. Even the Rising Dragon Pillar was bound by an invisible chain.

This energy is what he calls the Mindbender technique, which is capable of invading one's mind, snatching away one's memories or even consciousness.

Energy slowly entered Ye Mo's body, passed through the barrier and headed straight for his Energy Center, before stealing his memories.

“Hm?”

The invisible energy gathered into a humanoid form, yet this creature did not resemble a Goddess, but rather, looked like a terrifying monster.

“Pillar what is it? Dragons were considered holy beings, yet so many dragons surrounded this pillar, bound to this pillar. It must be something that came from extraordinary, the reason behind the child's great power. If only I could take this, then I would be released from the Eternal Spring Goddess. This pillar will be mine, and the boy, I want the boy dead.” The monster laughed out loud and expanded its range towards the Rising Dragon Pillar.

Feeling the claws that grabbed the pillar, yet were unable to awaken the Dragon Force, causing Ye Mo to feel completely helpless as he stared at the monster in front of him.

"How dare you, a lowly being from hell, come and trample my territory!"

Suddenly, Ling'er's voice sounded from the Sealing Spell. It spun quickly and turned into a hilarious sprite.

Ling'er opened her palm, producing a Sealing Spell filled with Spirit Energy, which quickly wrapped around the monster.

"This is a sealing talisman specially designed for abominations like you!"

"There's someone inside the Energy Center?" The moment it was tied up by the shackles of the seal, it gradually realized its power was seeping away from it after the initial shock.

"How is this possible? It was formed by Spirit Energy. How can one sealing talisman absorb all my strength?”

“So what if you have Spirit Energy? You think you can touch big brother Ye Mo? You are the league behind. I'm sure you've been waiting for this moment, haven't you? Hiding your true colors and disguising yourself as a Heavenly Goddess. If you appear to Ye Mo in your original form, he will drop you, "said Ling'er as he floated in the Energy Center, a sealing talisman between his fingers.

“Who are you really? How do you absorb my Spirit Energy so easily?”

Sensing his Spirit Energy rapidly fading away, an overwhelming sense of danger rang out in the monster's head, causing it to widen its body in an attempt to break free. However, the sealing charm only expanded as well to accommodate the upgrade.

Ling'er threw away the sealing talisman, and as it floated above the monster, it emitted a dazzling light until the monster started to shout.

The beacon of light was gleaming and shining with a radiance that could defeat the Holy Light used by the Emperor. Such was the light of the Sacred Sealing Spell, specially designed to defeat monsters and evil spirits.

"Now!" With orders from Ling'er, the monster, which was still in its spirit form, was sucked into the sealing talisman. She opened her little mouth and inside it came in.



After her Mindbender was interrupted, the Goddess who was still floating in the air spat out bloodied arrows. The arrow held such strength that it pierced through the air, stirring the roaring wind in its path.

His body slowly turned into a monster, his two eyes were the size of a fist, his fangs were covered in blood, a face of fear.

“I can't believe the many treasures hidden within this young man. My previous opponent must have been a God-level Sealing Spell that went beyond being a charm sprite. The pillar must also be something extraordinary; I will kill it, and then have it. So even though I may have lost some of my strength, with two items in hand, I will once again utilize unimaginable power in a short period of time, the monster shouted, exerting all his strength and opening his wide, gaping mouth as if it was trying to consume Ye Mo.

"Look at me while I'm in control of your body!"

Ye Mo's eyes widened in horror as he looked at the approaching monster, unable to move a muscle. This was the difference in strength between them.

"Dead, evil beast!" Ling'er jumped out from within Ye Mo, once again brandishing the Sacred Sealing Spell. The charm shines brightly, blessing the world with the light of sanctification.

Under the radiance of a dazzling holy light, the monster trembled in fear, and blood dripped onto its face.

Ling'er picked up Ye Mo and moved him back to the Goddess Cave before quickly disappearing from sight and returning to his Energy Center.

What just happened, Ye Mo thought. The event that just happened felt like a nightmare, where he stayed a few inches longer to be possessed by an evil spirit.

But he knew everything that was happening was very real.

“You idiot, you will be possessed by that monster! It was probably sealed within the Eternal Spring Goddess and hoped to rely on the strength of others to escape. We are not strong enough to kill him now, but don't worry too much, because it can't drag you into the spring as long as you stay away from him" Ling'er said.

"Ling'er, you saved my life!" Ye Mo smirked.

Hearing his words, he sat on a piece of sealing talisman parchment, crossing his legs in satisfaction. After absorbing that monster Spirit Energy, its power seemed to have strengthened.

Seeing Ye Mo coming out of the spring, the others heaved a sigh of relief. Baptism was not a difficult process, yet he had been stuck there for quite a long time.

“I am now the mayor of the City of Girls. I assume that my words will burden them now? ”

"Of course!"

"From today, the Eternal Spring of Goddess will not be open to anyone!"

"Mayor, this is .." Liu Qingcheng asked puzzledly.

“Are you questioning my decision? Whatever your worries, voice later at the meeting, ” Ye Mo said as he walked out of the Cave. The others followed him, and the Cave sealed itself. Trembling was emitted from the Cave, as if something residing within it was howling furiously.
