Episodes 100. The Cursed Pearl

The Goddess Tears were not actually Tears left behind by a goddess. It was the core of the Tear Pond in Women's City. Legend has it that one of the goddesses had fallen in love with a human. When the goddess knew that she would never be able to be with that human, she wept over Woman City and formed a pond.

Only a drop of the Goddess Tear could be obtained every year. It had the power to restore spirit and refine the Mortal Gate of mind. It is a treasure worth millions.

Fights between warriors often injured their Mortal Gate, and if one of the Mortal Gate was damaged, they would never be able to use Martial Techniques again.



"No problem!" answer Ye Mo.

"It hasn't been agreed so quickly" said Cai Ling. "This is still the Pleasure Valley region."

The ruler of the Frozen Palace had learned that Cai Ling was captured by the ruler of the Pleasure Valley, Xiaoyao Langzi. The Palace Master tried to stop Xiaoyao Langzi on his way back. That was the reason why Xiaoyao Langzi ordered his two men to bring Cai Ling back to the Valley of Pleasure via a shortcut.

Yet Xiaoyao Langzi did not foresee that Ye Mo would appear before them.

In front of Ye Mo and Cai Ling lay the main city of the Valley of Pleasure. Only when they had passed through the city could they be safe from the Valley of Pleasure.

“Getting the Goddess Tear is my highest priority at the moment,” Ye Mo said.

If Ye Mo had not revived Ling'er in 49 days, Ling'er would have turned into a charm permanently.

Ye Mo tried to break the handcuffs with his spear but to no avail.

Therefore, Ye Mo could only protect Cai Ling until they reached Women's City. Once they cleared the forest, they would arrive at the main city of the Pleasure Valley, and pass through the Frozen Area, the territory of the Frozen Palace.

The Frozen Palace had been on the bad side of the Pleasure Valley for centuries. The two often fought with each other, which they were now doing at the moment because of Cai Ling.

Cai Ling led Ye Mo through the forest with her incredible perception as Ye Mo followed carefully. After a few minutes, they came out of the forest.

“One more hour and we will arrive in the City of Pleasure,” Cai Ling said as she wanted to ask Ye Mo's opinion. “If we want to go to Women's City, we have to go through that city.”

With her beauty and handcuffs on her legs and arms, Cai Ling would stand out. Trouble will follow if he is found in town.

After an hour of walking, they arrived in the city. Some guards with spears in their hands were watching the people coming in and out of the city.

The guards were around the Sixth or Seventh Realm of Spirit Cultivating. They were stronger than what Ye Mo usually saw in the Limestone City.

Ye Mo and Cai Ling walked towards the gate while their hearts were beating faster than usual. However the guards did not pay much attention to them, and they made it into the city.

Ye Mo sighed in relief and brought Cai Ling to the opposite gate. They would be safe if they could pass through the next gate.

"Hey, there are Cursed Pearls auctioned at the Pleasure Society," Ye Mo said as he heard someone mention the auction. “I've heard that it has absorbed hatred and curses from heaven and earth. Some powerful clans fight over it as we speak. If the pearl was used to train the Martial Technique, the technique could be combined with the Cursed Will!”

"It's easier said than done" said someone else. "If the warrior fails to control the will, it will eat them!"

“Yes, but you can get so much out of it that it's worth the risk. The young master of the Tie clan and the Mu clan were both eyeing for pearls. ”

Cursed? Ye Mo stopped and suddenly thought of something. Blood, curses, and ghosts are all the same thing, the power of darkness. Sky Blood gained its power from killing thousands of people, and Cursed Pearls from curses. Even if it was the weakest of all dark forces, it was still one of the Evil Energies.

Ling'er once told Ye Mo that in order for the Heaven Blood spear to regain its strength before, it would have to absorb a large amount of dark energy.

Ye Mo began to think of the possibility that the Cursed Pearl could be used to raise the Heavenly Blood Spear because the Evil Pearl was too powerful to be controlled by Ye Mo.

The Heavenly Blood Spear might be able to regain the strength of its Spiritual Weapon by absorbing the Cursed Pearl and arousing the anger of the spear tip.

Spiritual Weapons were rare treasures that only a few people in the entire Tianwu Kingdom could possess.

"That's right," Ye Mo said. "Let's go to the Pleasure Society now."

Without wasting any time, Ye Mo asked for directions and went straight to the Pleasure Society.
