86. The End Arc 1

 

   I decided to take a break from the game. Need to gather some energy before handing over all the materials I gathered to Grock.

    Because I realized that after all the materials I'd hand over, Grock would immediately pull me in to work hard to help him build a weapon.

    "It's finally time, I didn't expect it to be this long." I said that I was currently enjoying lunch with Hanna and the entire AFK guild.

    Before lunch we had a meeting that discussed the future of the guild, especially the matter of Players who would be the next higher-ups.

    We need members who have special expertise in certain areas and also have perseverance in learning in those fields. We want an expert.

    Blacksmith, Rune Maker and Alkemist are all we need right now. Recruitment of members has been started since two days ago, although with the requirements listed quite difficult but still very many people who want to join us.

    The popularity of guild stores selling high-quality items at low prices, seems to be a magnet for players to join.

    But we can't be rash to accept a new Player as a part of the guild, as most of the applicants are known to have relationships with other guilds.

    They are just spies who intend to find out where our guild gets all the materials to make weapons from.

    Finding someone who can be trusted is difficult, up to thousands of applicants none of whom fit the criteria we want.

    In the end Hanna tried to contact some of her friends who used to be former members of the AFK guild. Hanna's decision is approved by the others, they feel safer if they take old friends as new members.

    But still our struggle to find a Player that fits the criteria is still considered difficult, it is because as a great former AFK guild members prefer to be fighters rather than production players.

    But they did not give up, thousands of times they made contact for hours. Seeing them makes me quite sentimental, I want to help those who work hard but I don't know in what way I can help.

    Until in the end I could only focus on my own part of completing Grock's quest in order to obtain the dwarf forging technique.

    In the end after a few days, Hanna and the others finally found three people with matching criteria. Hanna said that the three could be trusted.

    Seeing my sister so sure made me only believe that the three of them could I believe.

    But just in case I'll keep on being vigilant.

    I came back online after the meeting ended and my stomach was full. Just one and a half days I left the game, but in this game world it had already passed for three days.

    "I understand the mistakes we've made, but they're just people who don't know anything." This giant fish-man begged sincerely for me to allow the fish-men to settle around the river.

    "That's no big deal to me, and like the rest of the population it doesn't matter what they are. As long as you can make sure if they behave well, then everything will be fine."

    The whale looks happy with what I say. But he immediately swallowed his own saliva after hearing my next words.

    "However, if I hear of any grudge plans, then you'll be the only fish-man left of your colony."

    A real threat is just a bluff, where maybe I will have the heart to kill the women and children who do not even have fighting skills.

    But the threat was enough to scare all the fishmen, they looked at me as if they were looking at a murderous angel. Even the villagers were no different, they regarded me as a cold-blooded leader.

    'Yes they are not wrong either, because I do have the Coldblood skill'

    Leaving the river bank I went back to the village. In the middle of the village was waiting for me an army of goat riders, two wolves also came with them. Everyone is ready to take the daily exam together, "Is it time?."

    The daily exam time was only ten minutes, and we immediately headed to the snow forest to prepare ourselves. The opponents on the test this time were the Ice Ogres, quite troublesome opponents, but we were able to handle it with a prepared plan.

    During the fight I thought about a lot of things I had done during the game. Start the game in a deserted place, attacked by a giant bird, revive a village that is near death, befriend the residents, find a hidden tomb, find a hidden tomb, a long journey to the top of the world to fight against the fish man.

    I only played for a few weeks but I felt that I had lived for many years in the midst of the NPCs. All of these were valuable experiences for me.

    But all this is just a beginning.
