74. Furnaces

Two hours following the road from the village to Mount Frieg, I was faced with a dead end. There was a deep abyss in front of me, an abyss so deep that I couldn't see the bottom.

Hoping to know the depth of the abyss I tried to throw a rock into the abyss, “I could not hear his voice.” I said after waiting for quite a long time.

Not far from where I stand are the ruins of a bridge that was once probably used as a transportation route. But looking at the width of the bridge made me think that the one who used this bridge was not human.

“Very wide, as if fifteen cars can go hand in hand when passing this bridge.” I immediately remembered the Giant race that is rumored to have a large body stature.

“About how big of a crete they use?.” I said.

The distance between the edges of the gorge is about 150 meters, quite wide. Looking to the right and left of Didi the gorge does not indicate the existence of another bridge.

This situation left me with only two options, the first was to dig down to the bottom of the ravine, while the other was to create a new bridge.

While working on the bridge I remembered the game about digging the ground looking for materials to make weapons, then the game ended with the main character defeating the black dragon. In the game, the player can make anything by arranging block by beam without worrying about anything.

But unfortunately even though the skills I have are so similar to the game system, not all of the game logic can be applied to Minvers.

“Because this world has the law of gravity.” I said as I stared at the stone bridge I built from the other side of the abyss. “At the time to resume the journey.” said I immediately left the ravine.

Working on the bridge for an entire hour made me feel hungry. Wanting to cook a meal, I immediately opened the stat menu and chose the [Furnace] option which was a new skill from the [Mining Skills] that opened after reaching level 20.

After opening the [Face] option a transparent pop up appeared in front of me, the window showed me any recipe I could make. There are many recipes from food to armor and weapons displayed.

“What is the meaning of eating this afternoon?.” the number of food choices makes me confused. After a long time of thinking while continuing to walk, my choice finally fell on the Yeti Teriyaki.

“He!.” I was confused by the sound of notifications that sounded so shocking.

But suddenly the notification returned to tell if the Yeti meat and various cooking spices have been taken from the inventory.

The timer starts to walk to indicate the cuisine is starting to be made. Seeing that I was very relieved because all the foodstuffs I had as large were unprocessed.
