With an expressionless flat face, Shandra enjoys her first morning preparing food for her and her husband. Working in the kitchen with a variety of household appliances is new to Shandra. During his stay at the house of his parents the mother who served as a cook but now he has to do it himself.
There were only two dishes of fried rice and an omelet of his work displayed on the dining table. Not to forget one cup of coffee which is the husband's favorite drink is also present as a breakfast menu this morning.
"Please eat. Sorry this is all I can make" Shandra said as her husband sat on the dining table.
"Yes no papa" said Farhan with a genuine smile.
"How's it?" shandra asked enthusiastically after a mouthful of fried rice entered her husband's mouth.
Farhan frowned at the taste of his wife's first meal that felt so salty and so uncomfortable to swallow. "Son right," the dust after he downed a glass of water that was already available on the table.
"Seriously?" shandra asked in disbelief to find the expression of the husband's face that did not match what was said.
Farhan just nodded. There was no intention for him to lie to his wife, but he also did not want to make the wife hurt because of his honesty.
Intrigued and enthusiastic Shandra put a mouthful of fried rice in her mouth. And how surprised he was when he felt such a dominant salty taste. "I'm sorry" he said, heartbroken and full of regrets.
"Not to apologize to everyone. Besides the fried rice I can still eat, too," said Farhan then resumed his eating ritual.
"Not to be forced like that. We better order food online," he said he could not bear to see the face of Farhan who looks very tortured to spend his cooking.
"No need. Mubazir if the food is thrown away" Farhan forbade. He just wanted to appreciate his wife's effort and effort.
Shandra grimaces hearing unexpected words from her husband. "Yes, I'm going to eat it too" he said. Shandra's heart immediately flowered when the dishes she made were eaten by Farhan.
The couple finally enjoyed the morning meal with a menu of salted fried rice that they spent without remaining. Although eating it must be interspersed with sips of water but it actually makes the two dissolve in togetherness that they have never felt.
"Still for breakfast" said Farhan after the two had finished breakfast.
"I should be the one to thank you for eating my salted fried rice" Shandra said.
"As long as the food is still edible and does not contain poison, I must eat" said Farhan who made Shandra happy. However, it still survives with a flat face and look. He was indeed one of the expressionless humans that existed on the face of this earth.
"I won't do that" he said. He was determined to learn to cook at the chef who worked at his cafe.
"Gue goes to work first. Loe wanna be together?" ask Farhan.
"You go first. I still have to do some homework. Maybe later in the afternoon I will go to the cafe," replied Shandra who had begun to busy moving dirty dishes to the wash.
"No need. Later I will find people to work here," said Farhan.
Shandra nodded in disapproval. "No, I can do it."
"Related?"
"Jaudah it's up to you" Farhan broke up and stood up from his seat.
"Gue said goodbye first, assalamualaikum," he continued.
"Wa'alaikumussalam," replied Shandra while kissing the back of her husband's hand. He had already started getting used to doing so, although there was still a bit of hesitation and awkwardness.
Shandra held her chest that was beating so fast as the husband gave a brief kiss for the second time on the forehead.
"What feeling is this, O God," he murmured so dazed and distraught.
Without Shandra knowing Farhan also felt the same way. He stayed quite a while behind the wheel of the car. Feeling a strange throbbing that he had never felt before. Moreover, thinking about her actions that were out of control. It seems Farhan must immediately end the activities of watching dramas and soap operas, which contain romance between two human beings aired on several television stations.

After the departure of her husband, Shandra immediately cleaned the dirty dishes. Although a little distress because he was not used to it, but as much as possible he finished his work. Even though one plate fell to the floor and broke to the point of injuring his index finger, he insisted on continuing his task.
Washing clothes, sweeping, and mopping the floor became the next activity. With a smart phone and quota he figured out how to complete all three jobs. Follow every instruction given by a housewife in a video that lights up on the phone. Her injured hand was slightly sore when it came into contact with the water she used to wash clothes and clean the floor.
"After this I must immediately go home to see Mamah and apologize. Because all this time I always underestimate what Mamah is doing," he said full of regret. He never helped his mother with homework. Always refused if Sekar asked for his help, and considered the wind and then every complaint thrown by the mother.
The drying of the phone rang so loud that the owner immediately raised the call.
Shandra stiffened perfectly with her already teary eyes. Even his joints felt limp for a moment. His gaze was so empty with both feet already collapsed on the floor.
"Shya!" The scream came from the middle room of the apartment where he lived.
On the way to the office, Farhan was stuck in a severe traffic jam that was not as usual. Curiously he got out of the car, and he was surprised not to play when he saw a car that was shapeless was being evacuated by several police officers.
The man stepped closer to the object that was interfering with his vision. He stiffened perfectly when he saw a car that was familiar to him. However, as much as possible he brushed aside those negative thoughts. Both of Farhan's eyeballs squinted to ascertain whether the conjecture lodged in his brain was true or not.
For a long time the twenty-seven-year-old stood stiff, until his consciousness was sidetracked by a thunderous cry. "Call the victim's family immediately!" One of the officers who found a communication device inside the victim's bag immediately searched for the name of the contact he last contacted. The movement of his hands stopped when he saw the name, My daughter was written nicely on the smartphone screen owned by the victim.
Amidst the crowd, Farhan faintly heard. "Is it true with the daughter of Mr Rahman and Ms Sekar?" Heard his father-in-law's name. Soon Farhan broke through the crowd to immediately return to the apartment to meet his wife.
In his heart the man prayed and hoped, may what he saw and heard not be directed to his wife. But the power of God says something else. Just as she turned her head to the left side, she saw her mother-in-law's helpless body being stuffed into an ambulance. It felt like the joints in the body weakened instantly, but his brain worked and seemed to instruct him to immediately go home to see his wife.
"Shan loe no papa?" tanyanya was anxious and worried when she saw the condition of Shandra who was far from good.
Shandra looked up and found her husband standing tall in front of her. "Mas...," he said.
For the first time Shandra called Farhan 'Mas' it made Farhan stunned and trusted. It seemed that Shandra was unaware of what she had just said.
Wordless and talkative Farhan helps his wife to stand up and place Shandra's weak body in a chair. With doubt he grabbed his wife's vibrating body and it even made Shandra sobbing with tears that increasingly spilled.
"Everything will be fine" whispered Farhan quietly on the head of the wife who was so tightly hugging him.
"But...." His words hung when Farhan's index finger stuck nicely in front of his lips.
"We have to go to the hospital now" Farhan said so firmly and it made Shandra silent and stiffened again.
