Chapters. 3. Memories of Mama

As usual Adel returned home from school on foot to his boarding house located not far from his school.

Adel passed through the alley to get to the boarding house quickly. At the end of the alley there is a very large empty land, commonly used to play football. He ran as he passed through the vacant plot of land, Adel's steps stopped when he heard the sound of people who were fighting.

"Crazy. when one person gets gang-raped by four people. Not true this. Could die later the man who was ganged up.. "

Adel thought about what he should do to break up the unbalanced fight.

Finally Adel thought of an idea...

"Police.

Adel approached a man who appeared to be wiping blood out of the corner of his lips.

"You're okay. There's something I can help you with "

The man held his head up and looked at Adel.

"Kamuu. Don't tell me that you were the one who said the police officer. "said that guy who turned out to be Mika.

"Yes.I yelled earlier, why. I can't possibly let you see someone being gang-raped"

"I don't like girls as much as you. Never interfere in my business.. "

"I just want to help you. You can die if they keep gnawing at you."

"I never asked for your help.I'm also still capable of fighting those four people.. "Mika approached the motor and the gas left Adel alone.

"Basar cocky guy, helped.not thanks. Being able to fight he said, obviously he was overwhelmed" grumbled Adel back to walk home.

Once at his post Adel just cook instant noodles to block his empty stomach..

"Ma.. you are where.. are you not missing Adel. why do you have the heart to leave Adel.. do you not love Adel" murmured Adel while eating instant noodles.

Adel's phone is ringing...

"Hallo pa.. what is it. "said Adel when he saw the name of his father yeng listed on his phone.

"Papa don't worry, Adel is already biased to stay alone. Every papa out of town, Adel was left alone. "Adel's words held back his tears. He really misses his dad.

"Adel. if you change your mind, call papa... "

"Yes. pa.. "

"You. take care of yourself... "

"Both pa. papa also take care of health, do not work overtime... Adel dear papa"Adel closed his cell phone connection. He could not hold his cry anymore. Adel didn't want his dad to know he was crying

"Papa... Adel dear papa.. actually Adel wants to stay with papa. but Adel knows. Let Adel give in to your happiness"

Adel recalls when he accidentally eavesdropped on his papa conversation with his future stepmom. The woman was willing to marry her father, but on condition that she did not want Adel to stay at home with them.

Adel knew that his father loved him very much, Adel should not be selfish, he had to give in to the happiness of his father. All this time his father had suffered enough since his mother left him. She raised Adel with great affection.

After finishing her intans noodles, Adel lay down, trying to close her eyes.

But the shadow of his real mama was still there in his eyes. He took a picture of his mother while dancing in the TK ceremony.

That's the only photo of his memories both of his mother are still left. Her mother's photos all burned her father. This photo is tucked between Adel's schoolbooks.

"Ma. has my mother lived happily. Adel wants to meet.. want to say that Adel misses mama very much" said Adel while hugging a photo of his mother.
