Bamboo Flute Swordsman

Bamboo Flute Swordsman
Chapters 8. Start Practicing III

In the afternoon on the slopes of the mountain, precisely under a large and tall pine tree, there was a child sitting resting. He looked so tired after running up and down the mountain. This activity he has lived for a full week, so that makes his physical endurance stronger.

"Emm... What is the teacher doing up there?" said the boy as his eyes looked towards the top of the mountain.

"The teacher should have come and brought me some food.

I was hungry. "he lamented.

Just now the child finished complaining like that, suddenly something fell from above on the child's head, the shape of the object was almost perfectly round. The object then rolled not far from the reach of the child.

"Aww.... Sick, damn it, who dares to throw me?" his eyeballs moved to and fro but found no one. Then he moved to pick up the round thing.

"Ahh. This must have been a teacher." he said happily while eating the apple until it ran out.

After the apple in his hand ran out, the boy looked up at the top of the pine tree. On the branch of the tree was seen sitting a grandfather with his legs dangling down. The grandfather was busy holding some apples in his left hand and his right hand was holding an apple with bite marks.

"Teacher..the apple is good, the student will again." the child's pinta grinned.

"Basic, earlier berating the teacher now even ask for more. Nih take it. "grunts the grandfather who is his teacher. The teacher threw a few apples in a direction far from his student's reach, inevitably, the student had to jump to and fro in pursuit of the apple. The disciple caught all the apples without any falling fruit, and sat down under the tree and began to eat them.

The teacher who was on the tree smiled happily at the progress of his students, only a week of practice has seen the results. The movements of the disciple grew agile and fast, and,

"I have to add a portion of your training Jaka." muttered the teacher slowly.

"So, when you're done with the apple, continue your practice. From now on you have to run up and down the mountain by lifting the stone, it may weigh only 50 kg." said the teacher, pointing at a stone at the end of the slope.

Jaka followed his teacher's index finger and looked at the boulder, and the teacher's voice continued, "After three days you have to lift a larger stone, and so on. Do you understand Jaka?" asked teacher.

Jaka seemed to doubt whether his small body was able to lift such a heavy weight. But Jaka did not want to disappoint his teacher, he would try his hardest, he quickly replied,

"Murid understands the teacher." he answered with a face full of conviction.

Long story short Jaka has three months running up and down the mountain while carrying a large rock. Currently Jaka has been able to lift large stones weighing almost 500 kg. Jaka's teacher, Resi Danurwinda was very happy for the achievement of this student.

Resi Danurwinda felt that Jaka's physical strength was strong enough to learn the moves he was going to lower. Therefore, Resi Danurwinda stopped Jaka's current training.

Resi Danurwinda then took Jaka to the east side of the mountain peak, it turns out there is a fairly high waterfall. The water flowed hard on the rocks below. Under the waterfall there is a black stone that is large enough, the stone seems very hard because it is able to withstand the swiftness of the waterfall.

"So you see the black rock" said Rishi Danurwinda, pointing down at the waterfall.

"Yes the teacher, the student saw it." replied Jaka. Instantly Jaka felt a bad premonition, he felt it was the next training goal.

In his training this time, Jaka will sit meditating on the black rock under the swift waterfall. Jaka is asked to empty his mind and temporarily shut down all the senses in his body.

Jaka began to sit cross-legged on the black stone, his hands placed on his knees. Just for a moment quickly his body was wet and staggered by the swift waterfall. Jaka began to shiver in the cold, slowly his body shook.

Faintly Jaka heard the voice of his teacher giving directions, then Jaka followed his teacher's instructions to empty his mind and shut down while all the senses in his body.

Slowly Jaka felt the entire area nearby darken, silence no sound whatsoever even the sound of the rushing waterfall could not be heard anymore. The coldness in his body slowly disappeared and finally Jaka felt nothing more, all his senses stopped working.

Suddenly Jaka saw the white dot, Jaka decided to approach the white dot. The more Jaka approached, the point looked increasingly enlarged. It turned out that the white dot was a dimensional door and Jaka slowly entered it.

After Jaka entered the door, he arrived at a white room. The room was not very spacious, other than the door he entered there was no other door. It means that in that place there is only one entrance at once the exit. In the middle of the room was a medium-sized square table, on which was a long golden yellow box.

Jaka approached the box and tried to open it carefully. After the box opened, there was a golden flute. If you look closely, the flute is made of bamboo stems. In addition, there was a small stroke with a Bamboo Flute on the outside.

Jaka held onto the flute, slowly there was a flow of energy creeping into Jaka's body. This energy makes Jaka's body feel warm and comfortable. After feeling no sign of danger, Jaka intended to bring the flute and then he went out through the door he entered earlier.

After passing three full moon times, Resi Danurwinda returned to the location of the waterfall. At this time Resi Danurwinda is watching the body of her student who is meditating. The first sight he saw was that Jaka's body was not wet in the slightest, his student's body was like having a shield that protected him from the swiftness of the waterfall.

The second was that Jaka's body suddenly shook and from his disciple's body was emitting a golden light. Rezi Danurwinda was surprised, he did not expect to see the phenomenon, before Resi Danurwinda only asked his students to practice regulating breathing.

After the golden light disappeared, Jaka's body returned to its original state, motionless. But there is a different thing that there is a golden flute on Jaka's lap.

"Hmm.. It seems like it's an heirloom, Jaka is lucky apparently." muttered Resi Danurwinda. This rishi did not expect it turned out that behind this waterfall stored an heirloom and Jaka was the lucky person to get it.

The heirloom was in the form of a flute, "I've never seen such an heirloom." muttered Resi Danurwinda.

Without Resi Danurwinda noticing, Jaka has completed his semedy. Jaka opened his eyes slowly and held the flute in his lap, then he jumped away from the waterfall.

"It's. This flute is real" said Jaka excitedly.

"You realize it was my student, it was an heirloom flute" said Resi Danurwinda who was now on Jaka's right side.

Instantly Jaka turned his head and bowed respectfully, "Yes teacher." replied Jaka.

"Keep the heirloom, it seems that the heirloom has chosen its master" said Resi Danurwinda.

After that Jaka and Resi Danurwinda left the location of the waterfall and returned to the hut at the top of the mountain.
