At the western end of the West Matraman Kingdom area there is a small village, Jati Ayu Village. This small village was probably only inhabited by dozens of family heads.
The appearance of houses in this village is quite simple, only a few roofs are made of clay, the rest are still made of weeds. Only the village chief's house was good enough.
This village area is very far from the center of the government of West Matraman Kingdom which is currently led by King Angga Jaya Kesuma. As a result, the village is rarely touched by government officials. However, their lives are quite good and peaceful because they are led by a good and fair village head.
However, the tranquility of the village was lost due to the power struggle. Indeed, the location of this village near the border between West Matraman and North Matraman, so this region became a place of struggle.
Not even two years from the division of the kingdom, but there have been small intrigues that indicate a big war is about to begin.
***
At midday, in the middle of the village was going on a fight between the soldiers of the West Matraman Kingdom and North Matraman. The two sides fought so fiercely that only the sound of weapon thumping could be heard.
"Tring.. tring... trang.
"Give up your forces of West Matraman, hand over this village to us, to the Kingdom of North Matraman." exclaimed the leader of the army from North Matraman. His voice sounded so loud because it was balanced with deep power. He believed that soon the troops of West Matraman would perish in his hands.
"Dream of you*********." shouted the team leader of the West Matraman Kingdom.
Then the two were involved in a fierce fight, they had released the move but there was no sign of defeat.
On the other hand the soldiers from North Matraman looked superior in terms of numbers, slowly they started to dominate the fight, it seemed like they would soon gain victory.
One of the troops from West Matraman tried to break down the opponent's defense, "Cursed are you. "his voice disappeared when his head had separated from the body.
"Hahaha, die you all bastards" said the troops from North Matraman, while killing not leaving a single army from West Matraman to live.
Currently the soldiers from West Matraman only one person left, the leader of his army. His condition was also very worrisome, blood flowed from between his wounds after being surrounded by dozens of North Matraman soldiers.
"You will pay for all this" said the soldier.
"Dead you." cried the troops from North Matraman while thrusting the sword towards the heart. Eventually the soldier was left motionless.
After the battle was over, the troops from the Northern Matraman Kingdom declared that from today Jati Ayu Village is part of their Kingdom. The matters concerning the government will adjust to the kingdom.
The citizens of Jati Ayu Village could only resignedly accept his fate, they no one dared to fight back. Some of them had been lying lifeless as a result of trying to put up a fight. Against the meaning of death, such is the famous motto in the North Matraman Kingdom.

At the end of the village road precisely among the bushes, there was a boy hiding. He was about a dozen years old, his body was tall enough for children his age.
The boy was so frightened that he just remained motionless, he was still shocked after witnessing the massacre carried out by the troops from the Northern Matraman Kingdom. The boy also witnessed the process of killing both his parents. In his heart suddenly appeared a tempestuous feeling, a feeling of wanting to protect the village, wanting to protect his homeland, and a feeling of wanting revenge.
His steps were grimaced, his face grimaced while holding the stomach that had been struggling for food.
The boy walked slowly towards the forest, not infrequently his eyes moved right to left just to look for food.
Around the forest road he passed, there was not a single fruit. Shortly after gazing at the trees, he fell into a daze and fell to the ground.
***
Slowly the boy was conscious, he tried to open his eyes, slowly looking left and right, but there was no one nearby.
Then he got up and tried to sit on the bed, looking at the place where he was lying and the surroundings.
Now he was in a simple hut, his poles were made of bamboo and fastened quite tightly. The roof of this hut is made of woven grass and ground. This hut is enough to accommodate three to four people. Just a little bit hit by sparks he was sure this hut would burn out.
"You've woken up Good" a voice from behind that suddenly startled him.
He then turned his head, looking in front of him a long white-haired grandfather, his hair tied with a white cloth. Grandpa was also dressed in white. The boy thought he was meeting a grim reaper.
"Su. has cake." she replied fearfully.
"You need not fear Cah Bagus, here, grandfather brought you fruits. Grandpa knew you must be hungry." The old man gave all the fruits he brought to the boy.
"No cake, I don't want to." reject the boy.
"Say my father, I can't accept anything from an unknown person." he continued.
The boy's reply made the white-haired grandfather laugh, as his feet stomped the ground. Maybe this is the first laugh after so long inhabiting the hut alone.
"Hahaha, what your father said is indeed Cah Bagus. But believe me, grandfather had no evil intentions. Even if grandfather wants to harm you, why would grandfather bother to help you who fainted in the middle of the forest. Let your body be devoured by the tiger." said the grandfather.
Then the boy fell silent, thinking of the words of the grandfather. Basically, the boy had an intelligent brain, once seen and once thought, he could conclude that the grandfather in front of him was a kind person, he immediately apologized.
"I'm sorry my attitude is cake, I don't mean to be disrespectful to grandfather" the man said cautiously.
"It's okay Cah Bagus, grandfather is familiar with your attitude. Here, eat, spend it all." exclaimed the grandfather as he handed over all the fruits he brought.
The boy greedily ate the fruits until they were left. The grandfather just shook his head,
"This kid looks really hungry" he thought.
