Bamboo Flute Swordsman

Bamboo Flute Swordsman
Chapters 22. Chasing Three Mouse Children

"The uncle is from a village in the south? Then..why did uncle come to this northern region?" tanya Jaka was astonished.

"Didn't I tell you before, I'm chasing rat kids" replied Ki Rana and laughed.

Jaka who still did not understand finally ventured to ask, what did the rat children mean. Ki Rana then explained his story.

After Ki Rana finished studying kanuragan and magic in a cave near the mountain ring, Ki Rana decided to return to his village. Ki Rana has left his wife and children, of course he misses them very much. This journey home feels faster than when Ki Rana first left the village.

For a moment in his memory the figure of his wife and two young children. The children will run to welcome his return, and the wife who will cook her favorite food makes Ki Rana speed up her footsteps.

Sometimes Ki Rana uses the science of lightening his body to speed up steps or just see how far his abilities have gone. Sometimes Ki Rana can be seen jumping from one tree to another.

When Ki Rana had arrived at his village, Ki Rana was greeted by the debris of the houses that burned down. There are also some wooden pillars supporting the house that still emit a little smoke remnants of embers fire. Ki Rana's face was worse when from behind the rubble it also smelled the smell of grilled meat, it was clear it was the bodies of the residents who joined in burning the red boy.

Ki Rana's body immediately trembled violently, immediately he jumped towards his house. Upon the arrival of Ki Rana at his home, the scenery he witnessed was not much different from the houses of previous residents. Ki Rana's house has now become a grey rubble. Ki Rana also found the bodies of his wife and two young children. No tears Ki Rana began to fall down his cheeks, he then cried so badly, sometimes he also shouted hysterically.

Ki Rana immediately regretted leaving his wife and children. Ki Rana thought that if he did not go, of course this kind of incident would never happen.

"There is no point in having a science of magic if I cannot protect the people I care about." muttered Ki Rana.

It had been half a day Ki Rana was still lying sitting motionless in front of the rubble of his house, his beautiful eyes looking at the ruins of the house. As far as his eyes could see there were no more intact buildings left in his village, all flat on the ground.

Ki Rana then buried the bodies of his wife and children properly, not to forget also he sought the bodies of other residents and also buried them.

After Ki Rana finished burying the corpses of the residents properly, Ki Rana stepped his feet to leave the village. Ki Rana will go around every corner to find information on who has ravaged his hometown.

It has been almost ten years Ki Rana in and out of one region to another, from one village to another, until he satronized up to the four cardinal directions. Currently Ki Rana already knows for sure who the perpetrator who destroyed his village, but has not been able to subdue the perpetrator.

Ki Rana had been involved several times with the perpetrator, but has not been able to paralyze him. This is because their number is more than one and their science is quite qualified.

Until one day Ki Rana got information that the perpetrator he was looking for was in the northern region. Therefore Ki Rana chased him to this village.

"My men who destroyed my village called themselves three bald demons. I didn't like them, so I called them three little mice." Ki Rana's laughter ended the story, but to anyone who heard it implied a deep sadness.

"Uncle, I'm sorry for the death of uncle's wife and children" said Jaka as well as feel the sadness felt by Ki Rana. Ki Rana greeted him with a forced smile.

"Ahh.. You even feel sad, sorry for my story Jaka." said Ki Rana regretfully.

"It's okay uncle, I have lost both of my parents who were killed by the soldiers of the Northern Matraman Kingdom. I wanted so badly to demand revenge, but Teacher forbade me."

Let me be enough, " said Ki Rana lirih.

"Well uncle, I will remember uncle's advice" said Jaka, lowering his head.

"You said you wanted to go to the West Matraman Kingdom?" ask Ki Rana.

"Yes uncle, it was Master who asked me to." replied Jaka.

"Your teacher must ask you to help King Angga to restore the glory of his country."

"Uncle's calculations are very precise. I was indeed assigned to it." replied Jaka.

Ki Rana then explained to Jaka that the problems he would face were not that simple. The war that has been and will occur is not a matter of the kingdom alone, but there is a bigger problem than that.

Ki Rana then exemplified the war that had just occurred between the Northern Matraman Kingdom and the Eastern Matraman Kingdom. The war actually involves two fairly large kingdoms, and will definitely last for at least a few days or maybe even a few weeks.

But what happened was the opposite, this war ended quickly even very quickly. The great war only lasted for two days and resulted in the Northern Matraman Kingdom winning.

According to Ki Rana, there was the other party's interference over this victory. Ki Rana could not be sure who the figure was, but it was certain that the figure was from a black swordsman. This proved the more incessant black warriors who came to this northern region.

It is not impossible that Jaka will face warriors from the black faction. Even repeatedly Ki Rana warned Jaka to be careful. Jaka also answered by nodding his head many times.

After Ki Rana finished explaining at length, Jaka got up from his seat to momentarily flex his body muscles.

"It feels aching if not moved." muttered Jaka.

It was then that Ki Rana found a bamboo flute hanging from behind the robe that Jaka was wearing. Instantly Ki Rana smiled and threw Jaka with a tree branch.

"You were the one who played the flute last night?" ask Ki Rana.

"Hehehe.. " Jaka just answered it with a laugh.

Once again Ki Rana was amazed by Jaka, his age may still be very young but already has a very large inner energy. When Ki Rana was the age of Jaka let alone to learn the science of kanuragan, his days were spent just to go back and forth to the rice fields.

"If I were as lucky as this boy." muttered Ki Rana.
