Nelson had arrived first, he asked Selena to meet him at a hotel on North Point Street. About sixteen minutes walk from the cafe Selena visited earlier.
The Fairmont heritage place hotel offers a luxurious and elegant suite, an upscale suite with views of San Francisco Bay six and a half kilometers from the Golden Gate Bridge.
Nelson ordered a luxury one-bedroom Suite equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an iPad, as well as a kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also a fireplace, designer linen, and a washer/dryer, which makes it more like an apartment than a hotel room The room he booked had a terrace with views overlooking the bay, and have access to a private lounge.
Nelson stood on the terrace of the hotel while looking at the beauty of the bay of San Francisco, occasionally he glanced at his watch while muttering in his heart.
‘It's been almost twenty minutes, where did that woman go.’
Now his body feels tired because it is too long standing, he chose to lie on a mattress while watching TV. He checked his phone and called Selena.
“Where are you?... Alright I'll open the door.”
Nelson got out of bed and opened the door. Viola, Selena is already standing there complete with a box of make-up kits. Nelson gives a warning for her to come in, and Selena complies.
“I want to look older, and make sure that no one recognizes me even my own men.”
“Good sir.”
Nelson lies down, and Selena starts dressing Nelson. Like a painter who is adept at scraping his brush onto a white canvas, Selena's hands nimbly make wrinkles on certain areas. Not to forget he also wears additional fake meat to make a sagging impression on certain facial areas, Selena continues to mutter in her heart. He was curious about what Nelson would do in Boston, especially Angel and Arnold were there. It occurred to him to ask, but he did not want Nelson to be suspicious of him.
For about half an hour, Selena took Nelson's face.
“Are you done?”
“Almost, I suggest that the master does not move much. It will affect the result.”
And ten minutes later Nelson had already turned into another unknown person.
“Again? Should all this time just make me look older?”
“I'm sorry sir, but art can't be done by just anyone. I have to do it meticulously and with patience.”
Lies.
Of course Selena's lying. Selena was able to apply Nelson's makeup in just twenty minutes, but he wanted to buy time for Nelson to arrive after Angel and the others returned to San Francisco.
“If you weren't an expert I would have killed you.” Nelson changed his clothes and hurried away leaving Selena alone in the room. “I've rented this place for one Week, you can wear it.”
Nelson throws the hotel room key to Selena. “Come on this gift from your work today.” And Nelson left.
Selena tidied up her make-up kit, she looked around the room. “It's a pity that if this room is left out just like that, well I guess a few days of settling down is not bad.”
Selena headed for the bathroom, she arranged for the shower water to feel warm. And enjoying every drop of water that soaked his body, he remembered his distress all along. The struggle that made him almost die many times, if only the angel of death did not give mercy to him surely he would never be able to enjoy the luxury of the hotel as it is now.
By late afternoon, Selena was bored and decided to take a walk around Ghirardelii square.
“Maybe it's time for dinner.” Selena Mumbles
He decided to go to Ghirardelii chocolate market place, the 3-story building of a former chocolate factory near Fisherman's Wharf which is now filled with various shops & restaurants. As the name suggests this place is a paradise for chocolate lovers.
Selena was amazed to see the many variants and processed chocolate in the place, for a moment reminded her of Angel.
Selena smiled amusedly considering Angel who spent a box of chocolate in a short time, not only that she also found Angel was enjoying chocolate-flavored Coco pops cereal and sipping her milk directly from the bowl.
Selena lined up at one of the restaurants and took a good look at each menu.
“Sial, no red Velvet here.” His grunt.
“Welcome to Ghirardelii cafe, may I write your order?” said once a cafe waitress who served as a cashier.
“Well, I want to order one banana split, chocolate shake, and water.”
The waiter recounts Selena's order. “Total so thirty dollars eighty five cents.”
Selena handed the hundred dollar bill to the waiter.
“This change, please wait a minute.”
Selena shifted and waited beside the cashier, it took ten minutes for the waiter to prepare his order. Lucky at that time the condition is not too crowded, because it is soon the cafe will be closed to the public.
“This is your order madam.” Said a servant kindly and Selena replied with a smile.
As Selena sat down, she began to enjoy every scoop of ice that went into her mouth. Ice cream that melts gently so touched by the tongue, chocolate shake is no less delicious because it is made from the best chocolate in the area. Although it was not actually a good dinner for health, Selena still enjoyed it.
He watched every, so peaceful and quiet. People who go around with their families and partners, taste every menu there while joking. As if nothing bad could happen to them, Selena felt jealous because she also wanted peace. She wants to work as a makeup artist, get married and have a family with two cute children. Honey, now it's just a dream. He had fallen too far into the bottomless abyss, where if he tried to get out it would be death that would come to him later.
Selena was so carried away that she ignored her phone that had rang.
“Halo, what's up?”
“Selena, please help me!!” A groaning voice sounded heartbreaking from the other end of the phone.
“What's Jack? You got a problem?”
“Meet me at the usual place.”
Tut's... Tut's... Tut's....
As the voice of the call broke, Selena thought hard to guess what happened to Jacob.
Why does his voice sound so heartbreaking?
What the hell is going on?
Does this have anything to do with Nelson?
Arnold's?
Angel?
or worse yet?
Don't-don't William!!
