Arnold drove William's car at high speed, he did not want to waste time. Angel tried to stay relaxed but his eyes radiated an aura of uneasiness making Arnold increase the speed of the car that made him almost hit the car that passed from the opposite direction, lucky he still had time to turn and step on the brakes.
Arnold took a breath, before finally deciding to continue the journey but this time he was more careful.
“Why don't we invite as well as William?” Ask Angel, not without reason. That's because he prefers William's driving style to Arnold's.
“No dear, he has an important task here.”
The atmosphere was silent, now the expanse of a vast vineyard had changed with the walls of the highway barrier. Along the way only visible concrete and some pine trees, as well as various types of cars that go hand in hand. Angel still looked agitated, Arnold took a deep breath and started a chat.
“So? What was their purpose of going to Boston?”
“I don't know either, Louis said he would explain it once we met in Sacramento and I was asked not to contact him first.”
“Sacramento is very broad, where will we meet?”
“About that, I don't know either.”
“Astime”
Arnold gulped in annoyance, Angel's short, cold answer making him anxious. Want to pinch his pudgy cheeks or just pull his nose, or maybe a little kiss on the lips.
Arnold smiled amusedly, until now he had never touched Angel beyond reasonable limits. Arnold realized he wanted more touch, but there was never a right moment for that.
“Maybe later.”
“What?” Angel squinted her eyes
“Ah, no.”
Arnold increased the speed of the car, of course, while maintaining their safety. Now that they had reached the T-junction, Arnold took a northward course towards Sacramento. For nearly forty minutes down the highway, Arnold glanced at the watch before increasing the speed of the car. Sacramento was just less than a kilometer ahead of them, a journey that should have taken an hour over forty-six minutes or nearly two hours, they could travel in just over an hour.
There were a lot of police cars lined up neatly on the side of the road, right at the red light close to the gallery library building.
“It looks like there's an event going on.” Arnold broke the silence.
“Ya, then where are we?”
“There's a cafe over there, I'll find a parking spot you wait there.”
“Baik”
Arnold lets Angel down and book a spot first, while he himself looks for the right parking space.
Once entering the cafe smelled the aroma of freshly baked bread made Angel's stomach slightly thrashed, because this morning he only ate a little to catch time. The interior of the cafe is very simple like a cafe in general, the walls are white with blue ceilings, tables and chairs arranged neatly lined up to fill the room, white small table with a typical cream-colored Pine wood chair. The atmosphere was quite crowded because it was almost lunchtime, Angel glanced around and found the ideal location, four chairs and two tables arranged lined up in the corner of the room.
Arnold came in and saw Angel sitting alone in the corner.
“Have you ordered?”
“Not yet, I'm waiting for you.”
“Then you want what?”
“I order avocado club sandwich and glass of orange juice.”
“Alright, wait here.”
Arnold walked towards the cashier, he lined up while paying attention to the list of available menus.
‘Rupanya Rose has read the menu first.’ Inner Arnold
Arnold daydreamed, now it's his turn to order.
“Welcome to La bou cafe, want to order what?” Said the waiter in a polite and pleasant tone.
“Ah, I ordered two kebabs, one avocado sandwich club, two orange juice and a cup of espreso.”
Slowly the servant repeated Arnold's order.
“Total so forty-two dollars eighty-five cents.”
“The food is ready soon, by the way have you called Louis?”
“Not yet, he told me to wait for the phone from him, he was worried if his cell phone had been tapped by someone.”
“So yes.”
A maid delivering their order carefully, she arranged the food in such a way. Angel noticed the movements of the woman, it was clear that the woman liked Arnold repeatedly he stole the view to make Angel feel uncomfortable. When he was about to leave accidentally the woman nudged the cup near Arnold, making Arnold reflexively catch the cup so as not to spill. However, this made Arnold unconsciously hold the woman's hand.
Angel looked reluctantly, he looked uncomfortable with the situation before him. Whether because they do not like it or even because of jealousy, the woman apologized before finally leaving them
“Are you jealous?” Goda Arnold's.
“Same as never”
“Lying, your eyes are clearly saying that you are jealous.”
Angel ignored Arnold by focusing on the sandwich in front of him.
“I'm sure that you're jealous.”
Angel did not have time to answer suddenly a call from an unknown number entered his smartphone.
“Halo, where are you?... We are in a cafe not far from where you are.., cafe La bou...., All right we wait.” Angel turned off the smartphone and refocused on her sandwich
“Louis?”
“Yes, he's on his way here.”
After a while the person they were talking about walked into the cafe, Arnold waved a hand to code them to get closer.
“Sit” politely Arnold let them sit down.
“There is no time to relax, we have to be quick before they track us.” Louis spoke in a hasty tone
“Casual darling, what do you want to order?” Ask Arnold
Angel, who was eating, put her sandwich on the plate and drank the juice before she spoke.
“How bad is the condition now?”
“Very bad, Blood is done and we are now fugitives.”
“How can it?” Arnold looked in wonder
“There is no time to explain, we must be fast.” Ricard
Angel who immediately understood the condition that there was an end to eating, he drank the rest of the orange juice and immediately stood up. Arnold was just about to eat his kebab feeling upset because he had not had time to eat a single bite.
“Come on, I just ordered this.”
“No time.” Angel pulled out Arnold's hand, and immediately ran towards the exit.
“We will ride the car I just bought, quickly grab the needed items from your car.” Ricard walked in front, and stopped in front of a worn-out Van.
“Hey man, wait a minute. Are we going to Boston in this condition?” Arnold pointed towards the car
Ricard, Louis and Angel stared at each other, their appearance too neat for an old Van.
“Arnold is right, we have to change clothes and disguise.” Ricard and Louis agreed.
“Rose is not what I mean.” Not done yet Arnold spoke the other directly into the old van.
“It's up to you guys.” Arnold shrugged and sat in the back seat, this time Ricard was the driver.
“Alright, we will look for clothing stores, as well as cosmetics and choose the right disguise.”
Ricard turned on the engine, the roar of the aged machine sounded very noisy and annoying. Ricard stepped on the gas slowly and left the place.
