Arnold looked out the window, the view of London at night was indeed very beautiful. But somehow not enough to calm his mind, for a moment he missed California where he was born.
Arghhh....
His left hand still hurt, even though the bullet had been taken out of there. He should still be hospitalized, but he insisted on refusing.
“Why doesn't he let me die, what's really going on lately. Why would he say such a thing?.., arghhhh.”
A lot of questions echoed in Arnold's head, and he didn't know where to start. Angel, he has betrayed Arnold, that's the only conclusion Arnold can draw. Arnold walked towards the door, picking up the suit hanging beside him. He decided to go to the bar, just let go of his tiredness by drinking a few bottles of whiskey. Arnold was sitting near the counter, and ordering the best whiskey there, the atmosphere was quite quiet opposite to the party last night. Bar Gong, this is where it all started.
“Wait a minute, wasn't Angel with a man last night. Maybe that's a very good clue. Arnold murmured in the heart.
The bartender had poured whiskey for him, and Arnold asked to let the bottle stay by his side. He wanted to pour his own whiskey, Arnold looked at the bartender, his name tag read Fraco. And it turns out he was the guy from yesterday, who also poured whiskey for him.
“Ah, you were still yesterday huh. How's the party?.” Arnold started the conversation doubtfully.
“Yes sir, pretty busy.” A simple short answer, Arnold could have guessed before.
“How about my friend sitting near the toilet over there, I forgot to give him the room key. Did he do anything stupid?.” Arnold pretended to know the guy he was talking about “No shame, I'll keep it a secret. I just want to know what silliness else he made this time.”
Fraco laughed to himself, as if understanding the pranks Arnold was going to make
“ A man sitting near the toilet, turns out to be your friend. He made me quite irritated, the man drank too much and was heavily drunk. Several times he puked there, totally disgusting. Even he fell asleep after, and sauntered in the morning without guilt.” Fraco's tone showed annoyance.
“It's my fault, I'm sorry Fraco. I should've given him the room keys, so he wouldn't trouble you. Really stupid guy, oh yeah. Did you see the girl he was with last night?.”
“I didn't pay much attention, many girls roam here.”
“Ah so.”
Several customers began arriving, making it difficult for Arnold to interrogate Fraco further. Arnold looked around carefully, then he looked at the door. A coat hung neatly, a bit of memory coming out of his head. Angel, he wore that coat last night. Maybe he forgot to take her when he left this place, ah not last night he was quite drunk. Maybe in the morning he also forgot the coat, because he was nervous about shooting Arnold on purpose.
Binggo....
“Hey, Fraco. That coat belongs to my boyfriend I think he forgot to bring it last night, may I bring it. That's his favorite coat.”
Fraco was still busy making a few drinks, after he finished approaching Arnold with a friendly face.
“Ah about that, ask the lady over there.”
Arnold smiled, and pulled out a few dollars from behind his suit.
“This, let's just say compensation for my friend's stupid behavior last night. Apologize to the manager and others, excuse me first.”
Arnold puts his money on the table, and walks towards the woman shown by Fraco. After a brief discussion Arnold managed to melt the woman's heart, and took the coat hanging proudly. He lowered his head as if to salute, and went out of the bar letting the woman he was chatting to redden in embarrassment.
Sghhhhh..,
Arnold inhaled the aroma left behind in the mirror, the distinctive aroma of Angel's body burst out. Come up with a brilliant idea in Arnold's head, for some reason. He wants to buy a sniffer dog to look for Angel's presence through the smell, a pretty brilliant idea isn't it. Arnold called someone, gave the order to find him immediately the best tracking dog in London.
The next morning As Arnold exited the hotel a bloodhound dog seemed to be wagging his tail, his ears drooped long down, his facial skin looked loose with the flap of his mouth and neck hanging, some saliva dripped from the edge of the dog's lips and his size was quite large with golden brown fur. Arnold smiled happily, he understood very well the ability of this type of dog in tracking odors.
“Hello buddy, this ends. If you find this woman eating I'll make sure you live properly forever.”
The dog sniffed slowly, and then barked at a sign that he had found it.
Without saying a word, the man who had been holding the dog's leash went away. Leaving Arnold alone with his new dog.
“Come we leave.”
As if understanding the words of the master the dog barked, the dog walked to follow where the owner of the scent went. Several times it appeared that he was inhaling the aroma in the air, and again walked down the sidewalk. Turn into some narrow alley, until arriving at a hospital.
“Hey, are you kidding. This is a hospital, where the girl might live here. Stupid dog.”
Arnold was a little disappointed with what he had met, but there was no other choice but to check inside. Arnold pulled the dog's leash gently, and they walked hand in hand into the hospital. He arrived at the front door and was stopped by a security guard.
“Pardon the dog master is forbidden to enter.”
Arnold looked at his dog who looked down as if afraid of being left, then he squatted and stroked slowly the dog's head.
“It's okay buddy, I can do it myself. Wait here and be a good boy. I tipped him, don't let him run.”
Arnold stepped in, he headed straight for the information table.
“Excuse me, is there a patient here on behalf of Rose?.”
“Awhile sir, I will check.., sorry no patient on behalf of Rose, there are other things we can help.”.
“Ah, it's okay he's not here. Thanks.”
Arnold breezed away, there was no other choice but to look for it yourself by going around the hospital. Arnold passed through several hallways peering through each room he came across, he saw many elderly people and some young men who were being treated but none of the women there. Arnold started to climb to the next floor, he went back to looking but had not yet gotten results.
“Maybe it would be better if the dog was here.”
A desperate Arnold decided to leave the hospital, when he was about to get out his dog that was originally lying on the floor immediately jumped up excited to meet his master again.
“Hallo again buddy, you should have come with me earlier. I trouble.” Arnold said as he stroked his dog's head
They walked back down the street they were on, until they arrived in front of an apartment. From a distance he saw someone familiar to him, a man with a tall and stocky body wearing glasses with a distinctive eye gaze.
“Jeez, isn't that Ricard.” Inner Arnold. “I don't think he's staying in the apartment not far from where I'm staying, but what he's doing in London. And who's the girl he's with.”
Arnold squinted, hoping to see the woman more clearly. But unfortunately a car passed in front of him, and the two of them had disappeared from the front door of the apartment.
“Surely they are already in, I should ask someone to investigate them.”
Arnold picks up his phone and calls the only person he can trust for now.
“Hallo David, can you help me?......, No, you don't need to come here. Do you have any acquaintances in London who can be trusted well?......, not to kill just to be a detective......., For payment as usual..... Alright I'm counting on you.”
Arnold turned off the phone, breathed heavily and walked back to the hotel. He opened the door carefully, the room looked messy, a pile of junk junk junk fast food piled up near the kitchen door, some shoes thrown somewhere, plus dozens of jerseys lying on the floor. The originally luxurious hotel room is now losing its charm, not that no hotel attendant has come to clean things up, but Arnold can't trust anyone. He refused all room service and preferred to lock the door tightly without anyone being allowed in. Arnold sat leaning against a sofa he ordered as a special service, then his eyes were about to be closed mobile phone vibration in his suit makes him back awake.
“Arnold, I've already sent the mobile number of the young man who is willing to accept your offer. You can call him now.” David's voice from behind the phone sounded like an order, usually Arnold would groan if treated as such. But there was no other choice, he did not reply with a word and immediately turned off the phone. Now he switched to calling the prospective agent he would work with.
“If you want this job meet me later tonight in the city square.”
'Now I'm alone, Mike. How are you, buddy, I hope you're okay.’
