Arnold brought a tray to the table and sat down across from Angel. Angel didn't look so healthy this morning. Maybe because some nights lack sleep and think too much about what to do next. Or, maybe it's because of the lighting in this coffee shop. She looks healthier in the Tahoe region: the sun on her face and the fresh breeze blowing her untidy hair. Healthier and happier there.
"Coffee, sweet with a lot of milk, exactly as you like it."
“I prefer cappucino.”
“Isn't it the same.”
“Of course is much different, from the dose cappuccino has less foam than latte.”
“For me the same.” Arnold sat down
"Thank you, Mr. Arnold."
Angel snatched her latte and looked out, across the mall. There was a children's playground and a fake palm tree behind the minimarket where Louis and Ricard were shopping for food.
Arnold sipped his coffee, tried the heat of his drink with his lips. “I think it'll be safer if you go somewhere else. Any place other than America."
"But where?"
"Anywhere."
"Why?"
Arnold lingered before replying. "I just feel it's safer.”
Angel exhaled, and went back to sipping his coffee.
“Sometimes I also feel unsuitable to be an American citizen, even my accent is different from the others.”
“Even you are not suitable to be referred to as an Englishman.”
Angel looked at Arnold and put the cup down slowly. “Maybe you're right, then I'm better suited to be a citizen of which country?”
“Now, maybe you're from a different planet.” Arnold sipped his coffee. “Mars possible?”
Angel smiled wryly, while Arnold smiled broadly. No, he just laughed a little at the expression of Angel's confused face.
“I hope your guess is right.”
“I think right now you look like an Asian girl, India to be exact.” Arnold looked at Angel, now he saw a flash of light in the eyes of Angel. “You, your eyes are really amazing. Very clean and bright, the black color blends well. Like two drops of coffee.”
“Did you just praise me?” Angel started teasing Arnold of course with an expressionless face.
“Come on, you should smile when a man praises your appearance.”
“Are you a man?”
Arnold choked on the coffee, he was a little upset to hear Angel's statement. Only, he did not want to extend the conversation so he looked for other topics.
“By the way, what will we do in Boston?”
“I don't know.”
“What do you mean? You must know something, come on quickly tell me.”
“For now, destination is not important.” Angel realized his mistake, but he did not want to show his mistake in front of Arnold.
Arnold could see Angel hesitating. There was something he wanted to say and Angel was fidgeting about something he had never seen before.
“Rose?”
"Maybe you better not know, because this could threaten someone's life.”
“You don't trust me?”
Arnold looked at. Angel said it in an odd way, as if it was meant to have a much deeper meaning than just being heard. "Angel's? What the hell's going on? What do you know? What didn't you tell me?"
“Must be, do they recognize you?”
Ricard did not answer, Angel could hear the sound of gunfire and the screams of panicked visitors from the end of the phone. Now that Angel's eyes were wide open, he saw someone who was very familiar to him staring back and forth like a hyena who was looking for prey.
But the unexpected happened, their eyes met. And Angel could see the man smiling cunningly.
“Sial!!”
Ricard ran across the children's play area, kicking a colorful plastic ball out of a small ball pool. From a distance he could see Angel who was standing while holding a mobile phone.
Ricard changed his direction to Angel's . Behind him, Louis thrashed out of the minimarket.crossed the living room and swept past the tables and high chairs of the coffee shop, which was laid out outside under a pan umbrella *** from the artificial grass as if this should be a coffee shop on the beach on a tropical island. The high chairs were somersaults and the beach umbrellas were swaying and falling. Ricard finally stopped, crashing into a waist-high partition of wood that was ostensibly sunburned, out of breath.
Unfortunately he did not realize that there were other people standing opposite Angel, then when he looked up he saw a woman in a jeans suit and a leather jacket was staring sharply at Angel. Angel gave the code for Ricard and Louis to leave immediately, slowly Ricard and Louis walked backwards and turned the direction.
“Who did you see?” Abel spoke firmly.
“Not your business.” Cold attitude is the only thing that is effective for now.
“I heard your organization was destroyed, and now you're a fugitive for treason.” Abel smiled cunningly. “Really irony.”
“What do you want?”
“You still don't recognize me? Don't be silly, by the way a nice disguise just that you missed one thing. Your smartphone you should have thrown it away.” Abel started pointing his gun.
“Abel, your eyes are really observant.”
“Or, you're the one who's less thorough.”
At the same time, Ricard and Louis have now been stopped by Faith. Faith smiled with satisfaction as she brandished her gun, there was no place for them to run even if they retreated instead they would also face Abel. A situation that was completely unfavorable to both of them.
“You won't be able to run again old man.” Faith grinning.
“Who are you calling old sir.” Ricard was offended to hear Faith's words.
Dor....
One shot almost hit Ricard's body, lucky he still has good reflexes. So that the bullet only scratched his arm, fresh blood dripped slowly and Ricard began to groan in pain.
“Hey, come on we can talk about this carefully.”
“Nothing to talk about.”
Hearing Abel's gunshot smile without looking back, he felt he was in a favorable position. Despite being outnumbered, Angel currently has no weapons.
“Looks like your friend got hurt, give up then we'll free your friends.”
“They mean absolutely nothing to me.”
“You're unique, Faith.” Abel gave the command, Faith understood Abel's command. He saw Louis and immediately judged that his legs were in poor condition, it would be very profitable to make him a hostage.
“Hey release!!”
Ricard could only stand still while holding onto the wound on his arm, his martial ability was extremely poor. While Louis is currently injured makes it a little difficult when Faith holds his body while pointing a gun to his forehead.
“Are you going to say the same thing?”
“Kill only.”
Angel's spontaneous words make Arnold and Ricard shocked not play.
“Hey, he's your friend are you crazy?”
Abel smiled, he stared fixedly at Angel's face. Keep a flat face without expression, without guilt.
“Don't I tell you, they mean nothing at all. So, just kill it.”
