At night, Anika and Alvian eat alone at the dinner table. While Suherman and Amara left home this afternoon, the two visited the mall to buy whatever the boy wanted.
As Suherman promised, he bought some swimsuits for Amara. After that buy sleeping clothes, sandals, accessories, some toys and dolls.
After getting everything Amara wanted, Suherman invited Amara to dinner at a restaurant. Without Suherman realizing, the restaurant they visited was none other than Alvian's restaurant.
Suherman frowned as a security guard greeted Amara's arrival kindly, especially when the security guard called Amara as little miss.
Not stopping there, when they sat down even the servants welcomed them very special. Suherman looked at the waiter with a confused look and then turned to look at Amara who looked very relaxed.
"Mara.." call Suherman after the servants leave their tables.
"Yes Kek" said the boy.
"Did Amara know them? Why did they all bow their heads in front of Amara? Does Amara eat here often?" asked Suherman curiously.
"Of course often, Kek." said Amara lightly while playing the doll Suherman bought for him.
"Oh, it means dong's subscription." Suherman replied.
"Yes, that's how it is." nodded Amara.
Not long after, some servants approached the two of them while carrying some food menu that had been ordered. The two began to eat voraciously, especially Amara who looked so excited that her mouth was smitten.
"Hehehe... Slow down dear dong, his mouth is so dirty." Suherman chuckled at the adorable behavior of the boy, so he picked up a tissue and wiped Amara's lips.
"Once the food is good, Amara likes it." said the boy and continued to eat.
"Oh, that means next time we eat here again yeah" said Suherman.
"Why next time, Mother? Every day is fine, too" replied Amara plainly with a very sweet smile.
Sontak Suherman frowned hearing that. Is Amara not bored if every day eating there? The price of food in that place is quite draining the wallet, according to the taste presented.
After eating and eating his favorite ice cream, Amara left the goods table for a moment. He walked towards the cashier and spoke to a girl in charge at the table.
From a distance Suherman could only shake his head, he was curious about what Amara was doing there.
Given the day that had shown at nine o'clock at night, Suherman also chose to rise from his seat. He steps up to Amara and pulls out his wallet from his pants pocket.
"How much is it all, Dek?" asked Suherman who was about to pay the bill.
"Sorry sir, everything has been paid." said the girl kindly.
"Have paid?" Suherman again frowned confusedly. Who paid the bill? It can't be Amara, right? The boy did not even carry a penny.
"Adek sure? But who paid for it?" asked Suherman in surprise.
"Come on, go home yuk!" timpal Amara clasped Suherman's hand and pulled him out.
"Wait baby, Grandpa hasn't paid for the food yet." Suherman held his steps in the doorway.
"Didn't Grandpa hear what the cashier said? Everything's been paid by Kek, masa' Grandpa has to pay again?" Amara held back a laugh and pulled Suherman's hand back.
Arriving in the car, the two entered and sat side by side on the front bench. Suherman drove the car with his mind still left in the restaurant.
Along the way, Suherman's forehead continued to shrivel thinking about the oddity earlier. While Amara himself has entered the dream realm.
Arriving at home, Suherman went down first and carried Amara without waking her up. He brought Amara in and was greeted by Alvian sitting in the living room.
After Alvian, Suherman sat on the sofa. Before long, Anika came to bring a cup of coffee to Alvian. "Dad's home yet?" his question found Suherman flabbergasted with a frowning forehead.
"Hm... Just now," nodded Suherman with his back rested on the back of the sofa.
"Dad want coffee?" ask Anika again.
"Don't baby, I'm still full. Amara had eaten at the restaurant" Suherman replied.
"Sorry Anika yes, Dad. I'm sure Dad was troubled Amara." said Anika felt bad and chose to sit next to Suherman.
"It's okay, Dad doesn't mind at all. It's just that Dad was a little confused" Suherman said, still thinking about the incident at the restaurant. He wondered who had paid the bill.
"Why, Dad?" tanya Anika knitted her brows.
"That's..."
Suherman sighed heavily then explained everything that had happened in the restaurant earlier, he felt like a fool who was still looking for answers to the puzzle.
For a long time he had never been dressed to eat like that, he did not know who had done that to him.
"Where do you eat at the restaurant?" ask Anika to find out.
"Oh, I forgot the name of the restaurant. The restaurant was on Pioneer Street, not far from the mall." Suherman explained as he scratched his non-itchy head.
"Hahaha.." As Anika chuckles at Suherman's words, she thinks the father has entered Amara's trap. Very clever of the boy, he could have made a Suherman confused like this.
"Well, why are you laughing? What's so funny?" Suherman frowned at Anika who was leaning on her arm.
"Dad, Dad..." Anika shook her head while distancing herself from Suherman. "The restaurant belongs to Mas Alvian, Dad. It's only natural that the waiter there welcomes you very special. Wherever the cashier might dare to take Dad's money, it must be Amara's job, Dad's been bullied by the boy." Anika explained laughing out loud.
"What?" Suherman who heard that was aghast with perfectly rounded eyes.
"Yes Dad, the restaurant was the result of Mas Alvian's hard work all along. He also has several branch restaurants outside the city." added Anika.
"Gosh, so Amara did that to me? He was whispering at the cashier's desk. You little brat, watch out later!" furious Suherman who also chuckled realized his true stupidity.
A successful and smart businessman seems to be able to lose the same snot boy who is just a year old corn.
"Hm... That's how she is, so adorable." said Anika replacing her laughter with a smile. Suherman who saw that then pulled Anika into his arms.
"Are you happy?" suherman asked softly, his heart was filled to see the sweet smile of his daughter that had long been invisible in his eyes.
"Hm... Of course Anika is happy, Mas Alvian is very kind and responsible. Anika loves the two of them," said Anika clearly.
"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that." Suherman rubbed Anika's arm and kissed her daughter's head fondly.
Not long after, Alvian arrived in their midst. Suherman, who was curious about Alvian's life, then began to ask about the business his son-in-law was pursuing.
The three of them talked until midnight. Alvian freely told the beginning of his business.
Alvian also revealed that he previously owned a company that was eventually destroyed by a mistake. That's where his life started falling apart until Lira left him and Amara.
Alvian rebuilds his life while nurturing a very small Amara. Luckily there was Ratih who was always loyal to be beside him even though at that time they could only eat rice with tofu and tempeh.
Thanks to Alvian's persistence, everything had now turned one hundred and eighty degrees. Although not as rich as Suherman, at least Alvian was able to meet all the needs of his life and Amara.
He was also able to fulfill his responsibilities to Anika, he would not let his wife feel lacking. He doesn't want Anika to leave him like his ex-wife used to. Only death will separate them.
