Amara Wants to Have a Mom

16. Bitter Reality

At ten o'clock in the morning Alvian arrived at the hospital after receiving word from security guards who contacted him shortly after the accident.

With a panicked look Alvian ran towards Amara's room, she had just gotten information about her daughter from a nun.

But before arriving at the door of Amara's room, Alvian's steps immediately stopped. His eyes widened to catch the whereabouts of a woman sitting in the waiting chair.

Suddenly Alvian's heart skipped a beat with a dark look. The net is no longer able to hold the liquid that has been pooled.

Just as Alvian was about to get closer, his steps suddenly came to a halt when he found a man sitting next to the woman.

"Here, drink up!" the man said to the woman sitting next to him. The man thrust out a bottle of mineral water and hugged the woman's waist.

Yes, that woman is Anika, the girl who suddenly disappeared while with Alvian that night. And now he suddenly appears with a man Alvian does not know.

"Still," Anika picked up the bottle and put her head on the man's arm.

Alvian who saw the scene quickly threw away his face. Somehow she felt unwilling to see Anika with another man, her chest suddenly ached as tears fell down her cheeks.

Alvian quickly swept his face and acted as if he did not see and feel anything. He then stood in front of the door of the room with his back to Anika. He could not look at the face of the pair of human children any longer.

Aware of the presence of someone who was already standing before her, Anika also kept her head away from the man's arm. He stared fixedly at Alvian's back which he himself could instantly recognize.

"Sir," said Anika, she got up from her seat and walked over to Alvian.

"Sir" said Anika again after standing next to the father of one child. Alvian twisted his neck and carved a thin smile.

"You're here?" Alvian pretended not to have seen Anika before. He deliberately acted casually to neutralize the feeling of disappointment that plowed down his heart.

"Hm... I brought Amara here." nodded Anika. "I'm sorry, I couldn't save Amara from the accident" he added.

"Yes, it's okay. Maybe this is the will above. Then thank you for the help." said Alvian coldly, then threw his gaze in the other direction.

"Yes," Anika nodded weakly, she did not know what else to say, she was nervous to be near Alvian.

"Are you the father of that child?" asked the man who was with Anika earlier, he approached the two and stood beside Anika. His hand suddenly hung on the girl's shoulder.

"Yes, I'm the father, thank you for your help" replied Alvian looking at the man at a glance and throwing his gaze back. Anika who saw that felt strange with Alvian, not usually the father of one child was like this.

Is Alvian like this out of concern for thinking about Amara's state? I don't know, Anika herself doesn't know the answer.

"Good, then we'll excuse yourself. We still have business to the KUA office" said the man clearly. Instantly Alvian turned to Anika and looked at her wistfully. Anika herself was only silent with her face bent against the floor.

"Are you two lovers?" alvian asked ventured, but his heart was raging with the pain that he himself did not know why.

"Oh," Alvian tried to dampen any sense that was gnawing at his chest. He then carved out a smile and reached out toward the man. "Congratulations to you two, good luck."

After saying that, Alvian also chose to leave from the presence of the two. The pain further ripped the mind so that his body suddenly limp lost energy.

Alvian wanted to roar. Does that mean Anika will belong to someone else? What about Amara? The boy would be devastated if he knew that Anika could no longer be his mother.

Alvian is really fragile at the moment. His body fell on the floor with tears that kept falling down his cheeks.

"I'm sorry Papa, Amara. Papa can't realize your wish, Mama Anika is not ours anymore. Mama's getting married to someone else." said Alvian sobbing in the corridor to the toilet. His world seemed to collapse considering the harsh reality he had to experience.

Without Alvian knowing, it turns out Anika has been standing not far from her place stunned. The girl cried to see Alvian like that, she seemed to be stuck in such a difficult choice between love and affection.

"Sir," Anika ventured to him and crouched down before Alvian.

Alvian looked up and looked at Anika's bead with a faint look, then without hesitation hugged the girl tightly. "Why Anika? Why is it so complicated like this?" lirih Alvians.

"M-sorry, a-me, mmphh..." Alvian let go of her embrace and rubbed Anika's lips feelingly. Anika just kept quiet without resisting, she let Alvian enjoy her lips freely. He did not even hesitate to compensate for the one-child man's game.

As the atmosphere suddenly heated up, Alvian got up from her seat and raised Anika's body with her. After making sure no one saw them, Alvian then took Anika into the toilet and sat her on the sink.

"Don't do this to us, I beg you!" lirih Alvian with an incomprehensible look then dropped her head on Anika's thigh.

Anika was surprised and tried to dodge, but Alvian instead held her back by twisting her waist tightly. Alvian then drowned her face in Anika's cleavage.

"Please cancel the wedding, I beg you! Give me a chance to be your husband, I love you Anika, me and Amara need you so much. I promise to be a good and responsible husband, I will never hurt you" Alvian said with confidence.

Anika who heard that suddenly flinch with a gaze circling in the other direction.

What did he just hear? Does Alvian really love him? It's really hard to believe.

"Please, Anika! I-"

"No sir, this is not true." Anika cut Alvian's words and pushed him violently. The man retreated backwards, Anika jumped down from the sink.

"Sorry sir, I can't." Anika chirped. After saying that, he rushed towards the door regardless of Alvian still staring at him wistfully.

"I really love you Anika, I want to make you mine. I also want you to be Mama for Amara and her sisters later" Alvian exclaimed confidently. Anika stopped her steps for a moment and turned her head towards Alvian.

"I'm sorry, I really can't. I love Rio, I just want to marry him." Anika ran after saying that. While Alvian himself was immediately stunned on the bathroom floor. He didn't know how to explain this to Amara.
