Along the way, Naura seemed to have no fault at all. He hummed a little while playing his phone. Me and Mas Dwi kept quiet, nor did I know where to start the conversation.
Shortly afterwards Mas Dwi grabbed my hand and held it. It's normal he does if his mind is not good and we're on our way. I saw from the middle spy, Naura did not react. He was still engrossed in his phone, I couldn't understand what he was thinking.
"Thank you very much, Len!" he said before getting out of the car.
"Okay, you're welcome" I replied.
He opened the car door, got down and closed it again quickly and ran into the house. The rain still has not subsided, if he is not fast then it will be soaked. Mas Dwi sighed, then drove the car back.
"Mas," call me.
"It's ok, it's okay" replied Mas Dwi while looking briefly at the smile he placed on his lips.
When he entered the great road, he again grasped my hand with his free hand. His eyes focused forward without saying anything.
"Honey, this is the last time he's in our car, yeah!" said Mas Dwi when we just got out of the car.
"Yes, Mommy" I replied.
We were back in silence. In my mind there are all kinds of questions. Mas Dwi's expression I can't read, he looks relaxed and calm. But what makes him quiet like this? Shouldn't I be the one who's upset?
My eyes focused on seeing the water droplets flowing upwards as it was blown by the wind in the windshield of the car. The rain did not subside, plus the wind was blowing quite strong. Even so, fortunately no lightning struck. Vehicles that pass by are also not much, maybe only people who have just returned from work.
At first just observing the water droplets, but over time I realized that the speed of our car was getting to the right and almost into the body of the road opposite to us.
"Bas-Mas! The car!" I shouted while patting Mas Dwi's shoulder.
Mas Dwi immediately swerved to the left and stopped the speed of our car. My heart was beating with fear. Road conditions like this are very vulnerable because the car from afar is quite invisible because it is covered in rain. Mas Dwi also directly leaned his body and covered his face with both hands.
"Why dream?" manyworry.
"Sorry" he said without looking at me.
"Mas, I'm fine, right?" ask again.
"Yes, it's okay."
Dwi's still not looking at me. He immediately started the car engine again, but I held back.
"Mas wants us both dead, huh?" my snapping.
"What do you mean?" reply Mas Dwi who was no less loud while looking at me.
I didn't answer him, he looked at me for a moment and then sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she said, leaning back and scrambling her original hair. He's never seen this mess.
"Let me drive, take a break!" my advice. Not a good time to interrogate him even if I wanted to.
"It's okay, I can still. I'll take the car slowly. I wouldn't be so god*h to kill us both" he replied confidently as he revived the engine and drove slowly.
Not too far away, we will be home soon. But of course I am still worried. I watched the road with a slow-moving car. Every now and then I glanced towards Mas Dwi, his gaze straight ahead. It seems he is breathing.
When we got home, Mas Dwi got out of the car and got into the house without waiting for me. I'm still trying to restrain myself from asking what's really going on.
"Mas Dwi why, brother?" asked Tria who was sitting on the living room sofa.
I haven't had a chance to open a conversation, he spoke to me first, "You rest first, I want to continue working."
His words were so slow but firm. Implied that he does not want to be denied let alone disturbed. I nodded slowly and left Mas Dwi with his busyness. He started the computer and opened the file.
Two hours passed, Mas Dwi had not moved from his place. He still busies himself with his files.
"Mas, eat yuk first! Later on continue his work," take me slowly.
"You go first, yeah! I'll take it for myself" he replied, looking at me for a while and then staring back at the monitor.
"Ah, yes. Yes, if so," I replied. I dare not disturb him. It is not like the usual M. Dwi.
I went outside and found Tria eating at the dinner table.
"Where's Mas Dwi, brother?" tria asked when I was just sitting next to her.
"So, it's busy" I replied. With this condition how could I possibly swallow food?
"At work?" ask Tria again. I just nodded. My mood's falling apart.
"I remember a long time ago Mas failed to get married, just like that. But it used to be worse." Tria's words stunned me.
"Sorry, try repeating! How's that supposed to mean?" I asked Tria.
"Yes the point is that stress is so. He takes the same job and doesn't want to be disturbed. Is there a problem, brother?"
I shook my head again. I don't understand why it could be like this. Back when there was a problem with Reyna, Mas Dwi did not matter, why was this time different?
"Don't gossip, it's not good to know!" said Mas Dwi, suddenly he was standing behind me and pouring drinking water.
Tria and I looked at each other. Mas Dwi looks ordinary, as if nothing happened. His expression returned as usual, but I felt that there was still something he was hiding.
"Bak, please make some coffee!" pinta Mas Dwi on Mbak Arum who is still tidying the stove.
"Well, sir," replied Ms. Arum.
"Why are you guys? Must've talked to me, huh?" ask Dwi to me and Tria.
I can't say anything, my brain is processing something so heavy.
"Yes, Mas nyebelin," replied Tria as she placed her plate in the sink and stepped outside.
"Why are you there, honey?" ask Mas Dwi gently while rubbing my shoulder.
"The weird one." Those words just popped out, my mind was clueless as to what situation I was in.
"Sorry, yes, I was dizzy, in the office there was another problem. Funds for salaries are tucked away, so there are some employees whose salaries are still held back," he explained.
"Twidled? How can?" my many.
Mas Dwi shook his head. "I don't know yet, but I'm still investigating. Yesterday everything was fixed, do not know how it can change in a day so," replied Mas Dwi.
My concentration began to divide. My bad feeling about Mas Dwi began to shift with the problem he just revealed. Certainly not a problem that can be easily solved related to the rights of others like this.
