Season 2 Part 38

"Are you sure you want to help me with my work? You, right, still have to learn too."

Mas Dwi still refused to help me. I guess, other than he won't add to my burden, he's also rethinking my abilities. What can a high school graduate do to help with the job of a CEO?

"Am I wrong to help you, Mom? Is it because I just graduated with a C package?" ask me to tell you what I think.

"Hey, I didn't think about going there at all! I just don't want you to get tired, you're pregnant, baby," she said, holding my hand.

"Just sit and check, if tired can rest. I work at home. Aye, right?"

I am still in my position. I don't want to see Mas Dwi continue to spend his time working. Why have a lot of money if you do not have time to enjoy life? If you work too much and get sick, will not the money be wasted?

"Alright, but there are conditions" he said later.

"What's that?"

"First, you can only do this after all your college assignments are done. Second, do not let this job take your rest time," he said firmly.

"Yes, I will qualify" I replied confidently.

"If you break, you won't let me help you again."

"Yes, Mas, yes."

Then Mas Dwi opened a small closet under his desk. He picked up a large red map and a thick book.

"This is a guidebook, in which there is a vision of the company's mission and other explanations. This one is a module for examination instructions for each incoming report," said Mas Dwi while giving the book one by one.

"What is usually used is on page 103. You can learn this slowly. Actually it is not difficult, it just takes precision," said Mas Dwi again.

"Okay, I'll learn everything slowly" I replied as I nodded.

This book is too thick, I doubt I can master it in a short time. But I wouldn't know if I didn't try. I should be able to ease Mas Dwi's work.

"Remember, yes, don't get tired!" Dwi still reminds me.

"Yes, be calm!"

"Oh yeah, one more." He seemed to forget something and immediately opened the file on his computer.

"This is a report file every month, you should also learn this. It will be studied first why the report should be like this, why every month there must be-" He stopped his explanation and looked at me. "Ahh, are you sure you're going to do all this? You will get dizzy. I don't want you to be stressed out, honey," he said worriedly.

"Mas, I'll do everything I can. If I can't or I'm not strong, I won't continue this work. You don't want to give me a chance to try?" I'm still trying to convince him.

"Hahh, this is not your responsibility, so I ask not to make this your burden!"

His face looked so worried. It seemed like he was worried about two things, the first one he was afraid of was exhausted as he revealed. The second, he was worried that my work was not good and made him work twice. I hope his worries won't come true, I'll work as hard as I can.

Mas Dwi was getting ready to go to the office, I sat in his chair and started to open the sheet in the red map earlier. It turned out that the managed company was a family company, and one of its subsidiaries was managed by Mas Dwi as its CEO. It is not at all visible that he is a descendant of the conglomerate, even Tria was in college just riding a motorcycle.

I only found out after almost half a year of marriage. Hmm, I forgot that I was easily fooled. At least I am grateful now. Although Mas Dwi was born in a rich family, but he still wants to work hard, not just rely on his parents' money. And one more thing, now I understand what good name means to this family, so that the name Kak Julia can be completely removed from the family list.

I closed the red map while leaning on my back. Taking a deep breath, I thought back to Julia. How is he doing right now? Where does he live now? How's Faiz doing?

"Darling, which shirt am I wearing today?" Mas Dwi's question breaks my daydream.

"Ah, yes, just a minute, Mas."

I immediately got up from the chair and prepared a work suit for Mas Dwi. I'll get you a white shirt and a black tie. Not to forget the suit is certainly also black.

"Darling, are you sure you can smell perfume? You're not gonna kick me out again, are you?" asked Mas Dwi who was shocked because I got her perfume too.

"Eh, yes, yes?" I was shocked to realize that I was holding a perfume that had been kept in a closet for the past month.

"What do you think, honey? How can you not focus so? What's up?" Mas Dwi approached towards me and touched my cheek gently.

"It's okay, Mom. Maybe I'm just still sleepy" I said lying. I can't be honest about Julia's problem, it's a pretty sensitive one for her.

"Don't lie! You can't lie to me, honey," said Mas Dwi again in a still soft voice, that's how he forced me to be honest with him.

"It's nothing, Mum. I feel you are too busy, your work is too heavy. I'm afraid I can't help anything" I said, still lying.

I nodded in his arms. Mas Dwi is right, if my situation is chaotic like yesterday, I can only hinder his work. My current PR is to keep my mind calm. Maybe it's okay not to care about others, especially for Sister Julia who has obviously made trouble with this family.

..

Mas Dwi still hasn't come home, but I'd love to eat the ice cream we used to buy together. Mas Dwi suggested ordering online, but I wanted to eat in his cafe in person.

"Darling, I'm home in an hour. I'll bring you some, how much will it taste?" persuade Mas Dwi by phone.

"Mas, but I want it now," I whine. I don't know why it feels so bad to eat that ice cream for now.

"Order online, huh? I don't want you to go alone." Mas Dwi is still trying to hold me back.

"Maas …." I kept whining like a child.

"Yes, I'll go there first, okay? How's it?" Finally Mas Dwi relented and gave an option.

"Yes, but not for long."

"Yes, Honey. I finish my job as soon as possible" he told me.

The phone was closed, and I prepared to go to a cafe that I hadn't been to in a long time. Last time I went there, I went with Mas Dwi before we got married. I miss that ice cream so much. The taste of ice cream is different from other ice creams. I, who am not a sweet lover, can also like it.

I was at the cafe. The conditions are not so crowded, not much has changed as compared to the last time I visited this place. The employees are still the same, just like the menu sold is now increasingly diverse.

When my order arrived, a little girl came to me shortly after. She was so cute and adorable, it seemed like she was only two or three years old.

"Ante, what?" he said pointing at my ice cream bowl.

"What's? What, Deck?" my question is not to understand. He can't speak clearly yet.

"What, Ante, this?" he said again as he approached and still pointed at my ice cream bowl.

"Oh, ask me what is this, huh?" I tried to interpret what he said. The boy nodded in agreement, it was true that he asked what was in my bowl.

"Alya, my goodness! You're here it turns out." A woman of my age came and immediately carried this child. Maybe she's his mother.

"Undaaa!!" the boy shouted happily.

"Sorry, yes, brother. I stayed in the bathroom for a while, and even went for a walk myself" he told me.

"Yes, it's okay, brother. The kid's funny, smart too" I said.

"Ah, thank you. Once again sorry to interrupt" he said, bowing respectfully and returning to his desk.

The boy called Alya looked at me and waved his hand with a funny smile. What an adorable child. I hope my son will be as funny as he is.

Twenty minutes passed, finally Mas Dwi came as well. Since then I just kept quiet while looking at Alya's adorable behavior. He seemed to have just learned to talk, so whatever he saw became the subject of his question.

"That's a big shot, Mom? Must have been in a hurry," I said to Mas Dwi.

"No. Indeed, his work is not much coincidence," replied Mas Dwi while putting his briefcase in an empty chair.

"Well, they're home" I complained. I was happy to see Alya's behavior.

"Who's coming home?" asked Mas Dwi while looking at my eyes looking, unfortunately they had come out before Mas Dwi saw it.

"Little boy, funny to know, Mom. So I like to look at him from there," I replied.

"So, you were just worried about him?" ask Mas Dwi.

"Hehe, yes," I replied with a small laugh. Mas Dwi just shook his head while pinching my cheek in anxiety.

"I'm not a kid, Mom!" I groaned while rubbing the cheek that he just pinched.

"The truth is you're more adorable than a child" she said, giving me a sweet smile from her lips

'Luckily he is my husband, if not maybe I have sinned because I fell in love with the man of the person, ' my inner being is very grateful to be able to have and be loved by Mas Dwi.
