Aini's Heart Journey

Vacation Part 2

The moon and stars shine brightly. Hanging beautifully between the darkness of the night. Illuminate and shine upon the depths of despair, which are slowly present filling the recesses of the soul.

After Isya, the atmosphere of the villa that Ardi rented was still so boisterous. All prepare for dinner that is being prepared by the men who want to enjoy grilled fish as planned Ardi.

There was already someone who delivered sea fish to the villa after Maghrib. And now, they are preparing to cultivate it. The women have prepared the necessary seasonings. There are only men who will work to burn it on the coals. The kids, obviously just enjoy it later.

"Ma! Mama forgot to bring soy sauce?" Ask Ardi after confusion looking for seasoning made from black soybeans.

"No. My mom bought a lot yesterday. Try asking mbok Sri or Aini. Those who packed up the necessities this morning." Reply Niken sure.

Deg. Ardi even sculpted. He recalled his conversation with Aini earlier when they were about to return home from the beach. His heart suddenly became nervous immeasurably as the name echoed in his ears.

Aini couldn't linger seeing that handsome face. His heart will tremble violently, to make his body sweat cold. So, he chose to immediately avoid her who had already stirred his heart back.

Niken also sauntered leaving Ardi who was still sculpting. Ardi even thought many times to obey his mother's request. Eventually, he put his foot in the kitchen.

"Sorry, Mas. I forgot to bring the ketchup forward earlier." Say Aini while bowed, with a hand stalling to hand over some ketchup packaging.

Ardi accepted it immediately. Aini also intends to say goodbye soon.

The Flashback

"What if I fall for you?" Said Ardi with confidence in his heart.

Aini immediately stopped her steps. Just one step behind Ardi. Ardi who realized Aini stopped, immediately stopped and turned around.

Aini was confused to hear every word Ardi said. He tried hard, understanding what Ardi said. Although he knew, those were just simple sentences.

"I won't ask or even force you to return my feelings. I know, maybe this really surprised you. But I just want to be honest with you."

"Let's go home! They must have left first." Take Ardi to break the mood.

Ardi also grabbed Aini's hand. He took her with confidence.

Aini who was glued while looking at Ardi questioningly. Immediately turned his attention towards his hand that was gently grasped by Ardi. He reflexively stepped his feet following Ardi's footsteps, back to the car park.

The couple of widows and widows were busy with their own feelings and thoughts. Ardi was obviously worried about Aini's reaction later. And Aini, still confused by what he will say and do to Ardi later.

"But Oliv and Kenzo?"

Aini's heart grew more indecisive when she remembered Oliv. He still remembers that Oliv wanted to go back to Ardi and Kenzo. She wants to be Kenzo's mother.

"Maybe that's why Oliv left me at the time? He wanted to give me a warning, so as not to be weird to mas Ardi." Inner Aini.

Aini breathed out her heavy breath. He doesn't know how to deal with all that.

Want Aini's heart, return Ardi's feelings that are so real felt. But, he also cannot ignore, Ardi's ex-wife, who wants to return to being a better mother for her son. She is also a woman, who also understands how other women feel when in that position.

Long Aini sat alone. Thinking of the chaos of his heart that began to whack. Which began to undermine his beliefs.

Initially, Aini wanted to cover up her feelings for Ardi. He intends to harbour feelings for the man who managed to shake back his heart that had been injured. But, Ardi's speech and treatment, he can not ignore it.

Aini's worries were eventually sidetracked by Umar's call to take her to dinner with the others. He also tried to cover his restless heart as much as possible.

All dissolved in chatter and laughter on the sidelines of a warm dinner. Sharing stories and love in a boisterous family atmosphere.

After dinner, everyone started to get ready to rest. Some of the children had already flown into dreamland due to exhaustion. But, a little fanfare happened.

"What the hell are you, Di? Why is there less than one room?" Pissed Niken.

Ardi tried to recall his calculations. He remembered very well, already counting the number of rooms needed so that all get a room to rest.

"Why is it one less?" Ardi was confused.

"When didn't we count yesterday?" Ask Ardi quickly.

"Yes, sir."

"You yesterday prepared a room for Umar and Bu Aini, and another room for you and Kenzo. But, tonight, Kenzo and Umar had already slept in the same room. So, obviously, Aini ma'am,,"

He deliberately hung his sentence. Aini and Ardi even accidentally looked at each other. They understand what Dika explains.

Everyone immediately turned to Gilang who seemed so happy because he could tease his best friend. Moreover, his best friend was trapped in an unplanned situation.

Everyone understood what Gilang said. But not Aini. He had not heard Gilang's words while shouting at the beach. So, he was quite confused by Gilang's attitude.

When all held back from laughing because of Gilang's actions, Ardi and Aini were even nervous beyond measure. They both don't know how to react. They try to think hard to get out of this uncomfortable situation.

Niken reviewed her mischievous smile on Ardi. Everyone finally wondered what Niken was going to say. Because they know, this mother of Ardi, it's very hard to guess.
