Regret Part 1

Morning greetings. It is a sign that a new day has arrived. A new day that carves a new spirit in every step of its connoisseurs.

This morning, Aini was already preparing to escort Ratna to the station. Ratna will return to Semarang today, because Aini's condition has improved greatly. Yesterday, Ardi had asked Dika to book a train ticket for Ratna's return.

"After your trial, visit Ma'am immediately!" Ratna's message to Aini, while they were still in the room.

"Yes, Mother. Sorry, I'm always taking nicotine." Answer Aini sadly.

"If not Ma'am, who do you want to take care of? Mr Ardi? He's not your husband yet. Don't bother him too much!"

Aini immediately hugged her only sister with anxiety. The pair of brothers clearly could not help their tears flowing through their respective ayu faces.

Aini met Ratri alone. Ardi suddenly gets a call from Reno. So, he allowed Aini to meet Ratri alone. While he, receiving a call from Reno, whom he knew very well, it was definitely not a trivial thing.

"Mbak Ratri, how are you?" Aini asked sadly, as Ratri had already sat across from her.

"Well, Ni." Briefly Ratri while smiling.

Ratri felt so relieved yesterday, when he saw Aini's condition was very good during the trial yesterday. Although, his own condition was still quite bad.

"Bak why is it like that? And I heard from papa and mama, Ms. Ratri went missing yesterday. Where's mama?" Ask Aini without hesitation.

Ratri. He was reminded by the promise he made to Ardi's men yesterday, before he and the three others, were released that night. A promise that really thinks many times to deny it.

The Flashback

I don't know what time it is, when the wrong door of the room opens again. The room is now inhabited by four people who are enjoying the lash injuries they received yesterday.

"Gather it!" Say a man to two other people who come with him.

Ardi's men, came with two men who were wearing closed clothes again. They brought several sets of clothes that were no stranger to the occupants of the room.

The two men in covered clothes, immediately put the clothes they brought to the occupants of the room in turn. They went back to wearing the clothes the four men were wearing, when they were brought to the house one week ago.

"Get out!" Pinta Ardi's men are brief.

The two people in closed clothes immediately walked out of the room after finishing their tasks. And only Ardi's men were there with the four who were enjoying their pain.

Adit, Ratri, Oliv and Reni, only looked at the Ardi's men with ordinary gazes. They already understand the meaning of Ardi's men's words.

Ardi's men, then open the door again. Then he stood in front of the door.

Four men entered the room in turn. They put blinders on the four men. They immediately forced Adit, Ratri, Oliv and Reni to stand up and lead them to walk out.

Shortly, Adit, Ratri, Oliv and Reni are asked to get into the car. They were helped by Ardi's men to enter. Then, the car engine was on and immediately running. Towards a place that was clearly unknown to the four blindfolded people.

"There's no such thing as misunderstanding, Ni. I treated you very badly at that time. I was blinded by my own selfishness. I also forgot, how the advice of papa and mama at that time. Until I do something you don't deserve." I'm Ratri.

"I'm sorry, Ni! Ah, maybe, sorry about you, it'll never be enough to make up for what I've done to you." Ratri said bowed in.

"Mbak, earlier, I masakin favorite vegetable soup Mbak. Eat it, Mommy!" Said Aini, while handing over the supply box he brought.

Ratri immediately raised his face again. Instead of answering or receiving Aini's gift, he immediately stood up and ran away from Aini, to return to his detention room.

"Sorry!" Said Ratri while standing and running.

"Mom! Sister Ratri!" Call Aini sad while standing up.

Ratri was really embarrassed to face Aini. He really did not think, Aini even kindly brought her favorite food when visiting him.

His heart was broken and saddened by what had happened. He really regretted all his actions to Aini.

Ardi who had just finished receiving the phone, was surprised to hear Aini's slightly screaming voice as she called out to Ratri. He immediately ran to approach Aini.

"Why, Honey?" Ask Ardi in a panic.

Aini immediately turned to Ardi who immediately stood beside her. "Mbak Ratri, my mother."

"He why? Did he hurt you again?" Ask Ardi, while watching Aini carefully from top to bottom.

"No, Mas. Ratri's mother didn't hurt me. He just left while crying. In fact, the food I brought was also not accepted." Adu Aini is sad.

Ardi breathed a sigh of relief. "Calm down, honey! He might just not be so good to you."

"I'm not mad at him, Mom."

"I know, Honey. Therefore, he does not feel good for you. He treated you badly yesterday, but instead you responded with your kindness.he was obviously not good to you." Ardi was slowly.

"It's just because of a misunderstanding, Mom." Adu Ainu was getting sad.

Ardi smiled slightly at Aini. He really did not think, the heart of the woman before him, was very soft.

Aini smiled slightly then nodded. Ardi returned that smile.

Many things can blind our own feelings. And sometimes, we don't realize that. Until, perhaps, it is God who is slowly awakening us in his own way. And for sure, we never thought.
