Perplexities

Warmly the sun came back to say hello. Replacing the coldness of the night inevitable by anything. Until it makes all tastes back to get the desire to be better.

Desi woke up refreshed this morning. He immediately went out of the room to do his usual activities. Till,,

"Oliv didn't come home all night?" Desi muttered curiously, when he did not find his best friend in the next room.

Desi immediately picks up her phone, and tries to find out where Oliv is, until he doesn't come home overnight. Because as he remembered, he left with Dika last night.

"Can't you call?" Desi muttered confusedly.

Several times Desi tried to call Oliv's mobile number, but the results were the same. Oliv's mobile number remains unreachable. He finally tried to contact Dika.

"Is Oliv with you, sir?"

"No. Miss Oliv came home alone last night. I wanted to drive him, but was rejected by him. I just helped him find a cab."

Desi speechless.

"What's up, Miss Desi?"

"He hasn't been back until this morning."

"Sorry, I don't know for that. He left the restaurant last night at about seven. After he got into the taxi, I went to do other duties than Mr. Ardi."

"Good, Mr. Dika. Thank you." Thank you."

"Together, Miss Desi."

Desi again tried to call Oliv's mobile number. But the result remains the same. He then tries to contact some of his acquaintances, who may be with Oliv. But, no one knows where Oliv is.

"Cop report? It hasn't been twenty-four hours." Mumbled Desi worried.

"Wait for later. If it stays the same, I'll call the police." Monologue Desi again.

Desi continued her morning activities as usual. Waiting for her house assistant to arrive.

While at Adit's house, Suharti was no less confused this morning. Last night Adit and Ratri didn't come home. And in fact, their phones could not be reached.

Suharti, along with his second nanny, tried to contact some people they knew to ask the whereabouts of his son and daughter-in-law. But the result is nil.

Suharti recalled, last night Ardi's personal assistant came to pick up Adit and Ratri. He wanted to call her, but he didn't have a number he could call.

"Did I just call the police?" Suharti muttered in despair.

"Yes, Mom. Mending report!" Nanny's lawful.

"But it hasn't been twenty-four hours. The police may not be able to process it."

"But the father and mother could not be contacted at all. They're not clear where they're going either."

"Or, I'm trying to call Heni and Arif? I hear they're gonna be here these weeks. Did Adit pick them up?"

"But, Mr. Adit didn't bring the car, ma'am."

"Totally so."

Two different women of that generation fell silent. They are still confused because of the loss of news from Adit and Ratri since last night.

"I have to find that personal assistant." Suharti muttered sure.

Ratna and Imron just arrived in Pasuruan this morning. They did not use a motorbike, according to the advice of his uncle, whom they had two sons. They finally took the bus to get to the city where Aini is now.

All seemed foreign to Ratna and Imron. Because indeed, they had never set foot in this city before. After the bus arrived at the Pasuruan City terminal, they took public transport to the hospital where Aini was being treated, after asking a transport driver.

It's still early enough. The hospital hours have not yet begun. Ratna and Imron end up trapped in a hospital waiting room. And coincidentally, Dika and Reno saw them while going to visit Ardi.

"Sorry, Mister, Ma! Are you, Mr Imron and Mrs Ratna?" Ask Dika without hesitation.

Ratna who had just noticed the arrival of the two Ardi confidants, was a little surprised because they approached him. And in fact, recognize him in this strange city.

"You, who?" Imron is alert.

"Include me, I'm Dika. And this is my partner, Reno." Answer Dika friendly.

Imron responded to Dika flatly.

"Have you two met Ms Aini?" Ask Dika again.

"You know Aini?" Sahut Ratna enthusiastic.

"Yes. I'm a personal assistant, Mr. Ardi. Mr. Ardi is,,"

Dika hangs his sentence. He was quite confused, how to say the status of Ardi against Aini. Because according to him, maybe, Aini has not told her about her relationship with Ardi. And it would be a mistake, if later he told Aini's family.

"Sir Ardi called yesterday, huh?" Sahut Ratna sure.

"Yes, right."

Ratna's expression immediately sparkled. He immediately felt relieved to meet someone who recognized Aini.

"Wait a minute, I'll call Mr. Ardi." Pinta Dika is polite.

Imron and Ratna didn't ask much. They don't want to disturb the privacy of Ardi and his assistant.

"Sorry, Sir! In the waiting room, there's Mr. Imron and Ms. Ratna." Say Dika, when the call is connected.

"alright. I'm going ahead."

"Good, sir."

Dika then returned to pocket his phone.

"Where?" Ask Reno.

"He'll be here." Answer Dika casually.

While waiting for Ardi to come, Dika chatted with Reno, Imron and Ratna. Imron and Ratna try to ask why Aini could be kidnapped. But, Dika and Reno completely shut their mouths. They don't want to talk wrong and make their boss angry later.

"Good morning." Sapa Ardi, who just arrived.

Dika and Reno immediately stood up and greeted Ardi. They slightly nodded their heads to greet Ardi.

Imron and Ratna also stood up and looked at the handsome man who had just arrived and greeted them so kindly. In fact, there was a genuine smile, floating on his handsome face.

"Here, Mr. Ardi." Said Dika, to introduce Ardi to Imron and Ratna.

Imron and Ratna nodded in understanding. Ardi stretched out his hand to introduce himself. And was immediately greeted alternately by Imron and Ratna.

"Sorry, Mr. Ardi. Sorry, if Aini troubles you." Ratna said.

"Not at all, Ms. Ratna. Aini never bothered me at all." Honestly Ardi.

Ardi slightly glanced at his watch. He also saw two medium-sized bags belonging to Imron and Ratna. He then looked at Dika and Reno for a moment.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Imron, Mrs Ratna! Are those two bags yours?" Ask Ardi kindly.

"Yes, sir." Answer Imron.

"They! Get permission from the hospital for Mr. Ratna and Mr. Imron, to see Aini early! And Ren, get Ratna's and Imron's belongings to the car!" Pinta Ardi was firm, on his two confidants.

"Good, sir." Answer Dika and Reno understand.

"No need, sir!" Reject Ratna and Imron quickly.

"It's okay Mr. Imron, Ms. Ratna. My car is in front. You can still pick up your stuff, whenever you need it." Force Ardi smooth.

"But Sir,,"

Imron and Ratna looked at each other. They actually didn't mind, just weren't comfortable with it, if they were treated like that by Aini's employer. That's Imron and Ratna's thinking.

And again, Reno's last words, enough to make Imron and Ratna confused. And while they were still confused, Reno prepared to bring Imron and Ratna's bags.

"No need, sir! Let us just take him." Reject Imron, while blocking Reno.

Reno looked at Ardi. He finally relented to Imron, after Ardi nodded at him. And when that happened, Dika was asking permission from the hospital to allow Imron and Ratna to enter early. Because indeed, the hospital clock will soon be opened.

"Already, sir." Said Dika after returning.

"Thank you." Reply Ardi relieved.

"Let's Mr Imron, Mrs Ratna! I'm dropping by to see Aini." Imbuh Ardi's.

"But sir, the clock hasn't started yet." Resist Ratna.

"When you asked permission for both of you earlier."

Imron and Ratna nodded in understanding. The five of them then walked together towards the ICU waiting room.

"Sorry, Mr. Ardi! Umar where?" Ratna asked, on the way.

"Umar at home. He'll be here later, with mama, papa and Kenzo. Because he was a minor, he was not allowed to stay in the hospital for too long. So, he was just waiting for Aini yesterday." Obviously Ardi is friendly.

"Have you been waiting for Aini since yesterday?" Ask Ratna carefully.

"Yes." Yeah." Brief Ardi.

"How can I leave him, after what he's been through until it's like this right now." Inner Ardi.

Imron and Ratna were clearly shocked. They really did not expect, Aini's employer who accompanied her in the hospital since yesterday.

In fact, Imron and Ratna were so curious that Aini's chronology could be kidnapped that it was in her current state. But, they were confused enough to ask who it was to.

"That's, Aini." Ardi said, pointing to one of the patients being examined by a doctor, inside the ICU room.

"Here!"

Inner Ratna was clearly shouting so loudly. He really could not bear, seeing the condition of his only sister at this time. His tears flowed immediately without excuse, and soaked his chubby cheeks.

"How's the condition, sir?" Ask Imron.

"She's still unconscious, even though she's past a critical period." Reply Ardi grievously.

"How did he get there like that, sir? Do you know?"

The sentence finally slid just like that from Ratna's mouth. His heart was really impatient, wanting to know the reason and chronology Aini could be kidnapped until his condition was that bad.

"I'm sorry for that, Mr. Imron, Ms. Ratna. I caused Aini to be like that." Reply Ardi bowed.

"What do you mean, sir?" Ratna asked a little.

"It's definitely not your fault, sir. It was my fault, who could not escort and guard Aini's mother well back then." Sahut Reno soon.

"What do you mean? Why are you even convoluted? Actually, what's going on?"

Ratna was suddenly angry. He who was impatient to know the real reason and story, suddenly upset with the answer he received.

"Patience, Mom! Cool out! Listen to Mr. Ardi talk first!" Imron said immediately, rubbing his wife's arm.

"But Mas,,"

"Calm down! Let's listen to them!" Imron advised in a soft tone.

Ratna took a deep breath. He also tried to reduce his anger that had been ignited earlier.

"Please Mr. Ardi, tell us how Aini got there like that!" Pinta Imron mediates.

"Before, I was really sorry to both of you. To make Aini like that."

Everyone is still silent. Ardi paused his sentence for a moment.

"If only, I could hold this mouth back from revealing it publicly, maybe none of this would have happened." Ardi's impbuh is full of regrets.

"What do you mean, sir?" Ratna asked impatiently.

"Some people don't like the relationship between Mr. Ardi and Ms. Aini." Dika Sahut suddenly.

"relationship? Meaning, You?"

"I,,"

Ardi's words paused, as a nurse approached them. He told her that Aini's condition was stable enough and would be moved to the ward, as directed by the doctor.

And because of that, Ardi immediately took his phone. He immediately contacted his best friend.

"Where are you?" Ask Ardi, when the call is connected.

"Till in front of the hospital. What's up?"

"The doctor who treated Aini said that her condition had stabilized. Move Aini to Surabaya immediately! Tell Dika, whatever you need for it!"

"I'll negotiate it later. If Aini is going to be moved to the ward, move it for a while! I'll take care of that later."

"OKAY. Thank's."

"Yes." Yeah."

Ardi smiled with relief at the words of his best friend. He could always understand everything he wanted.

"Sorry, Mr. Ardi! Where's this moving?" Ask Imron immediately.

"I'll move it to Surabaya. Hospitals in Surabaya are better, and facilities are better." Ardi Obviously.

Ratna and Imron were suddenly confused. Their minds suddenly branched everywhere.

"Oh Allah, how do we cover the cost of Aini hospital? With the current condition, certainly not a little cost is needed. And now, Mr Ardi wants to move Aini to a better hospital?" Batin Ratna panicked.

"Isn't it good enough here and complete enough, sir?" Ask Imron.

"Yes, Sir. I see, the hospital is quite complete and good facilities." Timpal Ratna, who was like Imron.

"Indeed. But, the hospital in Surabaya, where my best friend works, is more qualified facilities. It's the second best hospital in the country." Obviously Ardi was relaxed.

"Sir Imron and Ms Ratna take it easy! I'll cover all the costs of Aini's hospital." Sahut Ardi, who understands the condition of Imron and Ratna.

Imron and Ratna were surprised to get an answer from Ardi. They did not expect, Aini's employer this one, so attention to Aini.

They also remembered Ardi's unfinished words because of a nurse who came earlier. They also want to ask. But, uh,,

"Father!"

The voices of the two boys, echoed in the ears of the five people. And one of them, clearly recognized by Imron and Ratna. They all clearly looked at him.

The two boys, immediately broke through just like that, the five people who were there. They didn't notice anyone in that place. They immediately wanted to see Aini.

"What's mother, Pa? You up?" Umar asked, as he continued to stare at Aini in the ICU room.

"Yet. But his condition is stable. Mommy will be moved to the treatment room later." Reply Ardi relieved.

"Papa?" Imron and Ratna were in disbelief. They look at each other immediately.
