Ardi's Attitude

Humans never know what kind of path of destiny they will go through. Whether the road is straight without obstacles, or full of intersections that require a lot of consideration to choose.

Aini sat in a chair to wait for a call from the WO side to come out. He was accompanied by Ratna who had not released him.

Ratna smiled and looked at her only sister who this morning had looked so complete with the white kebaya she was wearing. Her tears flowed without excuse.

"Don't cry, Ma'am! I'll follow you later. My make up will be a straw later." Whine Aini spoiled.

"What's terrible is that you're a professional. Where there is the term make up faded and belepotan because of the cry." Cibir Ratna while a little bit of a whim.

Aini pursed her lips spoiled. He hugged his brother tightly, after standing up and splashing into Ratna's body.

"You should be happy, Ni!" The Pinta Ratna haru.

"Yes, Mother. Thank you for taking care of me after my father and mother are gone. They must be proud of you." Sahut Aini no less haru.

"I only have you, my only sister. How could I not take care of you."

Aini nodded her head on Ratna's shoulder.

"If Ardi makes you cry later, say the same Ma'am! Ma'am will be mad at him later."

Aini nodded back.

Without them noticing, there was a pair of eyes that saw that scene of haru. Nikens. He had intended to greet Aini and say some things to Aini. But after seeing and hearing the conversation of the pair of brothers and sisters, he undoes his intentions. And let them enjoy their time.

"Later I'll see Aini." Batin Niken's.

Niken finally returned to the place where she and her husband were waiting.

"Tomorrow, we're going to eat father and mother again huh, Ma'am?" Take Aini.

"Aren't you on your honeymoon?" Ratna asked puzzledly, after letting go of Aini's embrace.

"This boy is just there. Where is there such a thing, Ma'am?"

"That's where people are, Ni. His life is so different from ours."

"But Ardi didn't talk about it yesterday, Ma'am."

"Maybe, I'd like to surprise you." Goda Ratna's.

"Mbak Ratna has been there since. How's Kenzo with Umar, Ma'am?"

"There's Niken and Rama. There's the same Ma'am Imron as well." Tempt Ratna again, with her naughty face.

Aini's mind suddenly drifted away imagining she was alone with Ardi enjoying the newlyweds' good times. And that makes him a little dreamy.

"Not to be overshadowed! It's tomorrow." Temptation Ratna again.

"A, what, Ma'am?" Stuttering Aini surprised.

Ratna just smiled looking at her sister whose face was a little timid. But he was grateful, because it meant, Aini felt happy living what she was doing at the moment.

Before long, from the WO there was someone who called Aini and asked her to come to the place where the wedding ceremony was held. Ratna and Aini were soon out and walking together.

Along the way, Ratna remembered something because of Aini's invitation earlier. Something that made him more confident in Ardi who was sincere and sincerely accepted Aini.

The Flashback

A slightly cloudy morning. The sun is still not perfect to show itself. But, the small families of Imron and Ratna were already preparing to go somewhere. They have an appointment for today.

"Come, Sir! The bad luck will." Bring Ratna.

"Yes, Buk."

Imron and Ratna immediately heated up their motors. They're going out of town today. Right on the last day of Rafi's and Deni's school holidays. They're going to Jogja. More precisely, to the navel of Ratna's parents.

Ratna made a pact with Aini. They will be visiting her parents today. At once, ask for blessing for Aini's marriage, and inform some of the families in Jogja.

After driving for more than three hours, Imron and Ratna arrived at the home of Ratmini's late sister. They rested for a while, while waiting for Aini's arrival.

Before long, Aini called. He had just arrived at the center of both of his parents. Imron and his small family immediately went to the tomb, which is located not far from the house of Ratmini's late sister.

"Mom Niken? Mr Rama?" Sapa Ratna couldn't believe it.

"Yes, Na. It's us." Answer Niken friendly.

Imron and Ratna immediately greet Rama and Niken who just got out of the car.

"Ardi and Aini have already entered first." Niken.

"The ardi?"

"Yes. Kenzo and Umar are also coming."

"I overheard Ardi and Aini's conversation on the phone. Ardi said she wanted to visit your parents' belly button before getting married to Aini. So, they made a promise today." Honest Niken.

"But, Aini didn't say that he was coming with Ardi." Resist Ratna.

"That was Ardi's request."

"Ardi's request?"

"Yes. He's afraid he'll trouble your family if he says he wants to visit."

Ratna fell silent and tried to understand the meaning of Niken's words.

"My arrival and Ardi's father, Aini and Ardi didn't plan it. We did deliberately follow Ardi who met Aini to Surabaya." Niken Imbuh.

"I mean, Miss Niken?"

"From the beginning, we didn't tell Ardi and Aini if we were going to come to Jogja today. We planned this secretly. We also want to visit here before they get married." Honest Niken.

Ja. The plan to make a pilgrimage to the grave of Aini's parents was Ardi's request. At first they will only leave the four, with Umar and Kenzo. But apparently, Niken and Rama also want to come and introduce themselves a little, although not directly.

Ratna smiled when she heard Niken's words. He did not expect, the Ardi family so appreciates his family, which in fact, is much different from them.

"Let's go on a pilgrimage first!" Take Rama.

"Yes, Mr. Rama." Imron replied sure.

Imron and his small family, as well as Rama and Niken, then entered the tomb. They approached Ardi, Aini and her two sons who were still busy cleaning around the navel of Aini's father.

They all then momentarily cleared the navel of the late parents Ratna and Aini. Once clean, they pray for it together.

"Look! Aini is getting married again. This is Aini's future husband. His name is Ardi. Aini wants to ask for the blessing of Mom and Dad." Aini said sadly.

Aini can't stem the water. His feelings immediately turned sad when he said that sentence. Ardi who was beside her, immediately grabbed her into a hug.

"Don't be sad, honey! They must be proud to have a daughter as great as you. And don't forget, there's still Imron and Ratna's mom who's always there for you." Entertain Ardi.

Aini tried hard to stop her tears from flowing, but it felt so hard. In his mind, dashed wishful thinking, will be a happy day tomorrow, if attended by his parents.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Buk. Introduce, I'm Ardi. I'm Kenzo's father, Umar's schoolmate. I met with Aini, also because of Kenzo and Umar. I'm here, I want to ask for the blessing of Mom and Dad, because I want to marry Aini." Said Ardi, in order to distract Aini.

"I can't promise Aini complete happiness, because I, myself, have hurt her. But, I will try to make her happy, so that Aini can forget the bad memories she had. I will also always try to make Umar happy, as I made Kenzo happy." Imbuh Ardi's.

Aini who was still as much as she could in Ardi's arms, immediately raised her face.

"Mass?"

Ardi only looked at Aini for a moment.

"And thank you, because you have raised, educated and cared for women as great as Aini. After this, I beg you, let me take care of him and perfect half his religion." Imbuh Ardi again, while tightening his embrace on Aini.

And it was clearly heard by Imron and Ratna. Ratna was a little stunned, Ardi could say that.

"Is that really Ardi?" Batin Ratna did not believe it.

"May my father and mother bless them, Buk!" Imron said expectantly.

"Yes, Sir. Hopefully." Ratna replied spontaneously.

Because of this simple matter, Ratna was increasingly convinced by Ardi. He was sure, Ardi could be a good husband for Aini. It's trivial, but, not everyone can do that. Acknowledging his mistakes and not giving such high and hopeful promises. Just to get what they want.

Flashback Off

Ratna escorts Aini to the other side of the ijab qobul event. And as it turned out, Aini's two sons were already waiting for them there. Ratna accompanied Aini there. And after a while,, the,,

"Saah." Greet the audience.

"Alhamdulillah."

All give thanks followed by the ruler who recited the do'a to the bride. And when she was finished, Aini was asked to sit beside Ardi, who had now legally become her husband. They also signed a marriage book which was then handed over to them by the ruler.

The event was immediately continued with friendly hospitality and guests were also welcome to enjoy the prepared dishes. Ardi and Aini were immediately busy serving selfie sessions of the families and colleagues present. Until they can't talk to each other casually.

After finishing, Aini and Ardi returned to the dressing room. They returned to the reception that will be held after dzuhur. They also changed clothes.

If the couple had worn traditional clothes, in the recipe, they would have worn modern clothes. Or rather, Ardi would wear a suit and Aini would wear a wedding dress, which they had chosen yesterday.

Almost one o'clock in the afternoon, Ardi visited Aini's dressing room. He wanted to pick up his new wife, to walk together to the reception, such as the direction of the WO. And,,

"The reception was canceled, Ma!" Pinta Ardi when she saw her mother holding Aini.
