After the Farewell

I Found You

Rayden woke up feeling upset and hoped this was all just a dream but it wasn't. His wife's body was not next to him, his left side felt very cold a sign that no one had ever slept there.

The man got up and saw his wall clock, which showed at half-five in the morning. Rayden cleans himself and takes ablution water and performs his Dawn prayers. After performing, the man offered a prayer to be reunited with Kara today.

Kara woke up in cold sweat, her body was in a lot of pain. Last night she had a dream of seeing a handsome man who was crying and hugging her. Is he my husband? Is he called Rayden? The more Kara tried to remember, the more her head became ill.

"Neng is awake?" sapa Mbah Tutik's. Kara just nodded. "Drink warm tea first neng. Slowly wake up."

"Sorry Mbah, how do I know I'm pregnant?" kara asked after drinking her warm tea which gave her strength.

Mbah Tutik smiled. "I used to work baby shaman neng. Before this village there is a puskesmas, I who usually help residents give birth. When my father and I found neng, I was just inwardly 'Oh Allah who is this beautiful' and when I hold the body neng, I know neng again pregnant. Thank God the content of strong neng."

Kara smiled. "Thank you Mbah."

"Neng has remembered something yet? You see the head neng quite severe injury but the same Mbah Yanto has been treated. I'm former mantri."

"Just as big as the image of the handsome man Mbah, maybe my husband" replied Kara.

"God willing to meet her husband today. You see, I heard yesterday the police at the Ubek-ubek location where neng fell. Today let me see the police if they look again."

This morning at seven o'clock, Rayden, Kenichi, Rayna and Abe have arrived at the scene along with SAR members and police along the fall area of Kara. Abe and Rayna wait by the side of the road while Rayden and Kenichi come down the cliff.

An hour looking for Kara, the team there suddenly visited by a grandfather.

"Assalamualaikum" said the grandfather.

"Wa'alaikum salam. What's the cake?" ask the head of the SAR team.

"Fathers looking for fallen women huh?"

Rayden went straight to the grandfather. "Grandfather found him? Found my wife? Where's?"

"Let's come with me. My name is Mbah Yanto, the master's wife is being cared for by my wife." Mbah Yanto also invited the group to follow him.

Kenichi calls Rayna immediately.

"Where's honey?" ask Rayna.

"Someone found Kara and she's still alive" Kenichi replied. "Darling, please give my doctor's bag to one of the SAR members for me."

"All right, Ken."

Rayden followed Mbah Yanto's slow pace with curiosity and impatience. His heart was pounding and wanted to immediately grab onto his wife's missing body. Until the group arrived at a hut that looked beautiful with many flowers and other plants.

"Please enter sir, your wife is inside." Mbah Yanto opened the door and let Rayden in.

The tall man had to lower his head because of the short door. His gray eyes saw a beautiful woman sitting against the wall of the house. The woman who was talking to the middle-aged woman then turned to see who had come.

"Kara.." call Rayden softly yet soulfully.

"Eh, is her husband Kara?" greet the middle-aged woman. Rayden simply nodded without turning his eyes to his wife's battered face but still beautiful in Rayden's eyes.

Slowly Rayden approached Kara who was looking at him confused but his instinct told him that he would be safe in this man. Is this my husband? He's really handsome.

"Sir, slow down. The neng is still not healthy, let alone his head yesterday bleeding and still do not remember anything."

Rayden turned his head towards the middle-aged woman.

"I mean Mbah...?"

"I mean Kara's amnesia, Ray" Kenichi said from behind Rayden.

Kara is now in Siloam hospital and immediately get treatment but because of Kara's condition is pregnant, then done MRI is safe.

Rayden gawked when Mbah Tutik said Kara was pregnant when they were in the hut.

"Ha..pregnant? How does Mbah know?" rayden didn't believe it.

"I used to be a baby shaman sir. So just by holding Kara's neng body, I knew she was pregnant but still very young."

And now Rayden is watching his wife undergo a thorough examination, especially injuries to his head, hands and feet. Kara felt pain in her right ankle and Kenichi said there was a crack there.

Abe and Rayna accompany Rayden outside the MRI room while Kenichi inside while discussing with the doctor there, especially the one examined is the famous surgeon-in-law.

Kenichi comes out of the MRI room and meets Rayden, Rayna and Abe who are looking at him anxiously.

"How's bang?" rayden asked impatiently.

"His head is injured but does not need surgery, can be given drugs that do not harm the content of Kara."

"There's no blood clot Ken?" ask Abe.

"There's Pa, but you can use the medicine" Kenichi replied.

"No surgery needed, right, baby?" ask Rayna.

"No need, dear. Kara's legs temporarily must be digips first because of cracking, as well as the right shoulder. Grateful everyone didn't need surgery because I was worried she was pregnant young, only four weeks." Kenichi looked at Rayden. "The connection is safe Ray. Strong."

"Thank God" whispered Rayden.

The door to the MRI room opened and Kara was sleeping on a gurney driven by two sisters.

"Brought to the VVIP room ya sus" orders the doctor behind the nurse.

"The mother who will accompany Kara, you discuss the same Mas Ken and the doctor" Rayna patted her sister's shoulder.

"Yes, ma'am." Rayden, Kenichi and Abe discuss with the doctor who will handle Kara.

Kara woke up from her sleep due to sedation because she had chlaustrophobia when she wanted to enter the MRI room. For Kara, she always felt panicked if she was in a narrow space even though she could handle it if she climbed in an elevator, but getting into a narrow MRI room made her panic immediately.

Kenichi did not tell Rayden because he knew his sister-in-law would be super excited to hear his wife panic and could make a fuss there, so he gave a safe dose of tranquilizer for pregnant women.

Kara looked around her and realized she was already in the hospital room and saw a head that was lying on the edge of the bed. His instinct is to say that this head is the head of the man in his dream. Kara's hand was stuck out and rubbed thick hair in dark brown.

Sensing a hand touching him, Rayden awoke and immediately looked at his wife's face. A friendly smile was seen on his handsome face.

"Kara Santanku..."
