84. Increasingly Mature
"Where are you going?" ratna asked when she saw Radit leaving Riki and Sandra's wedding.
"There's something I have to do, you and the kids just wait here until I get back" Radit replied.
Ratna just nodded even though she was very curious about what work Radit would do to the point of having to leave her with the children. What's more these days Radit's attitude is a little different, like there's something her husband has hidden. Ratna learns from Alea's experience that Radit's changes are cheating, but she tries to think positively about Radit.
"Zio, can you take care of Dini's sister for a moment?" ratna asked Zio.
"Where are you going?" zio asked, he wanted to answer yes but hesitated. There are too many people he doesn't know here and he's afraid he can't find Ratna or Radit when they're apart.
"You scared?" ratna asked who answered a nod by Zio.
"Come with me." said Ratna standing up.
Ratna's curiosity about what Radit is doing is huge, but she is also unlikely to leave Zio and Dini without adult supervision. In order to be able to follow Radit, Ratna is forced to take her two children with her.
Holding Zio's hand on the left and Dini on the right, Ratna walked towards where Radit had gone.
"Ratna, what a coincidence to meet here" said someone who passed by Ratna. That person is Ratna's cousin from her mother, their relationship is not so good because the cousin includes people who are on her father's side.
"There's something I want to talk about" Fian said.
"I'm with the kids next time if you want to talk" replied Ratna rejecting Fian's request.
"Your father escaped from prison, do you know?" said Fian asked Ratna, she did not heed the rejection of her cousin.
Ratna's face stiffened but she tried to calm down. "What's the matter of father escaping from prison that you're trying to hide from me, mas" Ratna said in her heart thinking about Radit's different attitude these days.
"Look at your face like you don't know yet. Get ready to welcome her, she will soon meet you and her granddaughter." said Fian, looking at Ratna and Dini alternately.
"Don't try to hurt my daughter" Ratna reminded Fian.
Fian laughed, "It turns out you're smart, too, so quickly you guess what your father wants." replied Fian.
"I came to remind you to be careful" Fian said again as he passed leaving Ratna.
Ratna does not continue her desire to find out where Radit went, she takes Dini and Zio back into the hotel ballroom where Riki's wedding party took place. If it's true that her father escaped from prison, Ratna doesn't want her and her daughter in trouble anymore. Enough that he had lost his mother due to Sugeng's actions, Ratna would not let his father hurt Dini.
"Don't be afraid Ratna, Radit won't be quiet if anyone hurts his daughter" Ratna said in her heart to comfort her.
"Why not listen to my request?" ask Radit to Ratna.
Radit had already wanted to ask when he could find Ratna and her children, but he refrained from finding the right time and place to talk. Now that they were home, Radit had just laid Early on the bed. The little girl fell asleep in the car on the way home.
"Sorry" said Ratna. He was wrong not to listen to Radit. Fortunately, he did not leave Dini and Zio alone, otherwise Radit would be very angry with him, if there was already a threat posed by Fian.
"So I met Fian." said Ratna again.
"What did he say?" ask Radit.
Ratna looked at Radit, just a moment ago she looked at Dini. "Dad escaped from prison, is that true?" ask Ratna.
Radit did not answer, but instead walked out of the room after kissing and enveloping his daughter. Ratna follows Radit who turns to their room.
"Don't make this matter disturb your mind, he won't be able to touch you or Dini. I'll take care of you and protect you" Radit said after they were alone in the room.
"Thank you" Ratna replied to Radit.
"I saw a lot of changes that happened with Mas Radit, he was getting older in thinking. Maybe because there is Zio and Dini, so Radit mas trying to be good in order to set a good example to them" Alea said when Ratna told her concerns about living with Radit.
"You're my wife, Rat. And Early my daughter, it is my duty to protect you." replied Radit thank you Ratna.
The distance they were standing was very close and their eyes were staring at each other. Radit begins to learn to love Ratna, not only because of the mother of her child but the woman before him is no less perfect than Alea. Radit slashed his distance with Ratna.
"Yes..." Radit silenced Ratna's words with his lips.
"Maybe tonight we can try it again" whispered Radit after removing his grip.
The feeling of love that began to grow helped Radit restore his manhood. Tonight, after a year, Radit was able to feel his own entering a place that was lawful for him.
"Thank you." said Radit sincerely, to which Ratna replied with a smile.
"I love you, Mas." said Ratna softly but could be heard by Radit.
"I love you too, my wife" Radit answered Ratna's love statement. For the first time Radit expressed his love, Ratna could only hope that the expression was truly sincere from Radit's heart not just to please him.
Elsewhere, Zaki assisted Adam along with people from Buana Group, Global Pratama and Henry company to help police search for the whereabouts of Sugeng who escaped from prison. They had also secured Fian who had spoken to Ratna earlier.
Flashbacks
Radit exits the hotel ballroom after taking a break with Ratna. He meets Zaki who is waiting for him in one of the rooms in the hotel where Riki and Sandra's wedding party takes place. There was Adam and Bagas as soon as he entered the room.
"Your father-in-law escaped from prison" Zaki told Radit.
"Yes, I've got word from a friend who happened to be on duty there. Looks like there's an insider helping her escape" Radit replied.
"Ratna and your daughter are likely to be targeted by him. Take care and protect them, let us look for their whereabouts" Adam added.
"Bagas, you also have to protect Alea and your daughter, they can both be the ones my brother will meet" Zaki said.
"Without Om asking, I must protect my wife and daughter." replied Bagas.
"Daddy tipped your mother also Bagas." said Adam.
"Daddy tonight will help Zaki" said Adam again, who is owned by Bagas.
Bagas back the depth of the hotel ballroom, he immediately sat down with Alea, Adzkiya and Anita. As Adam requested, he will also protect Anita tonight. While Radit can't find Ratna where he left his son and wife. Panic over the safety of Ratna and her children makes Radit choose to contact Zaki.
After getting word from Radit who can't find Ratna and her grandson, Zaki decides to look at the cctv.
"Ratna is near the entrance of the left wing" Zaki told Radit.
"Ratna probably already knew about her father, Fian had just met Ratna" Zaki said again making Radit immediately rush towards the door that Zaki meant.
Radit could breathe a sigh of relief once he saw Ratna and her two children were fine.
"We go home now." take Radit as soon as he's standing near Ratna and her children.
