After My Husband Cheated, I Became Rich

After My Husband Cheated, I Became Rich
22. Bagas Confession

Bagas could not turn to look at Alea with his new appearance. The woman he looked at was beautiful now looks more beautiful with hijab and outfit she wore.

Upon returning from the office, Alea immediately tried out all the hijabs that Lukman's wife had gifted her.

"Bismillah." Alea was convinced of his decision to move and from today he changed his appearance.

"Beautiful." muttered Bagas who could be heard by Tuti's mother who was standing next to him.

"Wait for Den? As soon as it is tied before it is preceded by another." whispered Tuti ma'am.

"Yes Ma'am." Bagas replied saying Tuti's words.

The housekeeper who had been with him since he was a child was right. Bagas must act quickly. At least he had to confess his feelings with words not just with the actions he had been showing.

"Let's have breakfast. Later we are late." Alea's voice greeting him surprised Bagas.

"You look more beautiful, Lea" said Bagas, who ventured to praise Alea.

A red blush hue was visible on Alea's face, making her even more beautiful in Bagas' eyes. For the first time Alea received praise from a man who had never indulged in love or seduction for as long as Alea knew and was close to Bagas.

"Thank you, sir. Pray I can be istiqomah and better still in the future." replied Alea who did not want to look too happy with the praise Bagas.

Not the first time Alea was one car with Bagas, but still made Alea did not dare to talk much when the two were like this.

"You don't want to know why the center leader wants to see you?" tanya Bagas on the sidelines of his concentration on the streets.

"Why sir?" ask Alea. Last night he was wondering, but he was thinking positively. Maybe it's about his success these past few months.

"I don't know for sure either, but it looks like you're going to be pulled into headquarters."

As Bagas predicted, Alea would be pulled into the head office. There was still a month for Alea to make a choice. Move to head office or replace the current position of Bagas.

"Where do you eat?" ask Bagas as soon as they are out of the headquarters.

Previously Alea had a look around the atmosphere of the office, to help him make a decision. He only two years joined the company, but was considered able to lead in replacing Bagas who resigned from the company.

"Mother why resign?" Not answering Bagas' question but he asked back.

"Ohh I know, you want to be married again, huh?" guess Alea, but somehow she felt some pain when she said that sentence.

"It will be so if the one I want to marry is also willing." replied Bagas.

"Not that you have been betrothed, it means that you already have someone who wants to." replied Alea again.

He was told by Bu Tuti, about Bagas who was betrothed by his family. Hearing the news It was also what caused Alea not to want to expect too much on Bagas. The social status of their families is much different, of course the Bagas family will find a partnership for Bagas that is equivalent to their families.

"But I don't accept this match. I won't repeat the same mistake." Bagas replied as he stared fixedly at Alea.

"We have arrived" Alea said after turning her face away from Bagas' gaze which made her palpitate.

"Let's go down" asked Bagas who knew Alea was avoiding his eyes.

Just as Alea was about to step inside the restaurant of Bagas' choice, a young girl ran over and hugged Bagas tightly.

"Kangen Sis." said the girl.

Alea who saw it could only stare questioningly. Could it be the girl whom the Bagas family had betrothed.

"Who are you?" bagas asked while tidying up the girl's hair, making Alea look away.

"Together my friends, brother." replied the girl.

"Sister, why don't you go home? Brother's already in Jakarta should stop by the house."

"Yes, you will come home, but now you want to eat first." replied Bagas.

"He who's Brother?" the girl asked pointing at Alea.

Alea who knew she was being talked about immediately reached out her hand and answered herself who she was.

"I'm an employee of Mr. Bagas, we have a job at the headquarters" Alea replied, not wanting the girl before him to misunderstand him.

"Oh employee, I think Kak Bagas' future wife" he said while assessing Alea's appearance from top to bottom.

"Lisa" rebuked Bagas the habit of his sister who likes to judge people who have just met him.

"I'm dupan aka handsome widower named Bagas this." Lisa introduced herself to Alea.

"Alea." Alea said her name.

"Ah.. right, Ma'am who..."

"Lisa" cut off Lisa's greeting bag.

"Yes, Lisa's home. Brother don't forget to stop by. I want to see you too..." Lisa continued with her words with her eyes glancing at Alea.

"Yes.iya.." Bagas answered making Lisa chuckle as she passed away leaving Bagas and Alea.

"I guess Lisa's the girl you've been betrothed to" Alea said after the waiter noted their order had passed.

"Don't I say, I don't accept being betrothed to the woman." said Bagas.

"Why? He must be from a family equal to the Father."

"Because I've already fallen in love with the woman in front of me right now."

Deg, Alea lowered her head and fell silent. Don't ask how he feels now, his heart is pounding. Alea did not know what to answer Bagas' confession, he was not ready.

Silence, Bagas also did not continue his words. If you don't remember what Tuti's mom said to immediately tell Alea about her feelings, Bagas won't reveal his current feelings to Alea. She was afraid that this woman she loved was not ready to hear her expressions of love that would eventually move away from her.

The lunch was both filled with silence, only the sound of spoons and forks clashing against the plate. Until they leave the place.

"Alea I'm sorry, if my statement got you...."

"It's okay, I just didn't expect it to be this fast" Alea replied cutting out Bagas' speech.

"I..."

"Give me some time." cut Alea again to Bagas' words.

Fulfilling his promise to Lisa, Bagas drives his car to his oman's residence. There Alea was fascinated by the luxurious house of the Bagas family. Alea knew Bagas was born into a wealthy family, but this was far from what he had thought of Bagas all along.

"Let's go in." invite Bagas to let Alea into the house she's been in since birth.

"If you want to meet your family, please. I'll just wait here." refused Alea Bagas' invitation.

Not accepting Alea's refusal, Bagas grabbed Alea's hand and grabbed her and brought Alea into the house that Alea was a palace in. Doubtfully Alea followed where Bagas was taking her.

One place that is directly addressed Bagas, which is a favorite place of his oma. The old lady was busy with her plants.

"Oma." call Bagas to make the old woman look at him immediately.

"Lisa has told Oma that you are in Jakarta" said Oma Sundari as she looked at Bagas' hand holding Alea's.

Alea who knew his hand was the concern of the Bagas oma immediately pulled his hand from Bagas' grasp.

"So Oma wait for me." replied Bagas, forced to relinquish his hand to Alea.

"Yes, if you don't come home, Oma scratches your name from Oma's granddaughter."

Bagas chuckled at the reply of the Oma who always posed such a threat to him.

"Bagas does not want to be scribbled as Oma's grandson, so Bagas came home" Bagas replied as he approached the oma and hugged her.

"What's he?" asked oma to pry at Alea.

Bagas only answered with a smile that means yes.

"Beautiful, you're good at choosing." whispered oma again and walked over to Alea.

"What's her name, baby?" greet the Sundari oma to Alea.

"Alea, Oma." Alea answered while kissing the back of Sundari's oma hand.

"Beautiful as the man."

"Thank you for the compliment, Oma."

"This is not a compliment, you are indeed beautiful as Bagas talks about."

"Oma.." reprimanded Bagas who opened his secret.

"So when are you getting married?"

The unexpected question from the Sundari oma surprised Alea as well Bagas. He had only heard Bagas' confession today and was still asking for time to think about it. Why was it as if he had been in a relationship with Bagas for so long.

"I.." It's not finished Alea's talk has been cut off by Sundari's oma.

"Oma know, your iddah period is not finished, but there is no harm if it is in the pass from now."

Sundari's oma statement again surprised Alea. This oma of Bagas knows who and how he is. Alea looked at Bagas who immediately said the word, "Sorry" without a sound.

"Who will marry whom?" a woman's voice surprised them.

"Ohh, so this is the widow that made you refuse to be betrothed to Hana" said the woman.

Hearing Hana's name made Alea feel dejavu. Why should she go back to having trouble with her name Hana. Alea did not know, if Hana in question was Hana who destroyed her household.
