ADURAS
Part 28: Destiny

Just this time someone dared to hold Hazard, by the hand of a girl anyway. Hazard does not dislike it, just that thanks to an unexpected touch his focus suddenly wavers. As long as his heart beat sounded alone. A faint pink line was painted on the face. Her consciousness returned when Yena stopped running and squeezed her head like crazy.

Hazard blinked a few times. They were both completely surrounded. A black mage patted the neck of his mount horse to get close, the witch he once fought with. There's only one way they can survive. That is by way of...

"Sorry, Miss." Without waiting for approval, Hazard immediately held onto Yena. Jumping onto the roof and running while dodging, dodging the black shadow that wanted to catch him.

Yena hugged Hazard tightly, as the arrow almost hit his head. Hazard zigzagged from one roof to another, several times looking down to avoid the arrow that hit him from below.

"Miss, you brought a horse?" ask Hazard after escaping from the enemy.

"Ah, sure! My horse is over there!" yena shouted, pointing to the right.

Accidentally, Hazard stepped on the fragile roof. His feet were mired with his back falling first, causing a very loud thud. The spine felt crumpled, as well as his stomach, felt like vomiting thanks to the pressure from Yena's body. Hazard's head is dizzy with buzzing ears. He blinked his eyes, the sky of the house was broad and Yena who was calling seemed to be circling.

...

"The voice is over there. C'mon fast! Don't let them get away!" A man's loud shout at his subordinates. They got off the horse, walked together towards the rickety house.

...

The horseshoe was getting closer and stalled. The horse's circle distracts Yena. I heard the front door being broken. Yena immediately attached Hazard's arm to his shoulder. "There's no time, we have to run!" his screeches. Yena forced Hazard to run, several bodyguards in armor chased them behind. They came out of the house through the back door, then faced with a wall—from the mud and milky— in yellowish white. Yena immediately climbed up then reached out to help Hazard.

An arrow from behind almost pierced Hazard's arm, his hand slipping until his body hung. Hazard clutched the end of the wall again, trying to climb.

"Come, Ride!!!" Yena shouted, immediately pulled Hazard's belt until he fell backward. The pouch from Hazard's belt slipped off and lay under the solid mud floor. Luckily they fell on top of a pile of animal feed— in the form of small, flat, and round leaves of the yellowed Acasia— tree.

Yena immediately got out of there, running while docked to Hazard. Take him to the barn where his horse is tied up.

After entering Yena immediately closed the warehouse door tightly. Hazard threw himself on the wooden floor, inching to the side of the warehouse to the left. His hand held the stomach. Their breaths both looked heavy, hot sweat drenching the temples.

Moments after taking a breath, Yena walked slowly towards her horse, reaching for a robe in a large bag—ters attached to the horse's back. "Take this, we have to leave immediately" Yena said, throwing a dull brown hooded robe at Hazard. Hazard caught it without a word. Yena took another robe and put it on.

The sound of the footsteps of some of the guards sounded very clear. Yena sat on the other side with her horse. "It looks like they're starting to split up" whispered Yena, squeezing themselves against the wall of the warehouse.

Suddenly the door of the barn was wide open. Both doors cover those who are hiding. A guard entered the warehouse without looking back.

"One person. I can make him faint" he whispered to himself. Hazard wears a cloak hood. He walked straight towards the bodyguard, then attacked from behind, pressing his neck using his arms until he collapsed.

Yena walked out from behind the door, staring for a moment at the bodyguard lying down. "Come, go." take Yena. He came out first with Hazard trailing from behind.

Yena was finally able to escape from Mitri city. While the man held on to his waist. Yena spurred the horse to run as fast as possible until the city building shrank and disappeared.

It was dark, the stars were scattered in the sky. Yena took down her cloth mask and patted the horse on the neck for a regular walk. A hug from the man in the back made him a little uncomfortable. Yena turned her head, apparently the man had fallen asleep on her shoulder.

Yena decides to camp in the middle of the desert, some cactus trees growing randomly around her. He immediately woke up the man behind. The man helped Yena make the tent. Unfortunately, Yena only brought one tent.

...

Inside the tent with the lighting of one lantern. Hazard sat with one leg straightened, the pain from the fall had begun to disappear. However, a strange black color spread more and more on both hands. When the red shirt is exposed to the top, the birthmark becomes clear, reddish, and untouched by the deep black color.

"no need. You just wear it first. We sleep alternately just in case anyone chases up to here," Hazard said.

"Hn, okay."

Yena spread the blanket over the mattress and sat down on the blanket. "You're still strong, right?" yena asked, staring at Hazard's fingers that were completely black. And so is his neck.

"Strong what?"

"The black color on your body is spreading."

Silent. Hazard did not answer the question. He looked down like he was thinking of something heavy. Yena immediately lay down and covered her body with a thick blanket. Trying sleep.

A few minutes later Hazard began to ask, "Actually, why are you helping me?"

There was no answer, only a blanket wrapped around Yena's body. Maybe Yena's asleep.

🍂🍂🍂

The noise from the lantern managed to resuscitate Yena from her sleep. He sat down, and was wide-eyed when he found Hazard curled up, looking in pain. The lantern was immediately removed from her body, and Yena laid it on her back. Hazard's breathing was disjointed, his chest rising down like he was on the verge of death.

"God! I should how?" Yena squeezed his head again. Confused what to do.

White light immediately glared behind Hazard's red shirt. When the light was revealed it erased Yena's memory, as if her mind had become empty. Then came the command in his head to hug and channel his energy to Hazard.

Yena held Hazard on top of her thigh, then stroked his cheek gently. Yena's gray eye color glittered and turned into a bright purple. The first time the natural energy awakened from his body. Yena's lips opened, immediately pulled Hazard's mask and threw him away. Yena kissed Hazard with both blinds covered.

Behind the collar of Yena's clothes, a white light flashed on the left side of her shoulders. The light knocks a spiral circle and extends into a thread of light, then spread on the lips that kiss each other. The thread of light continued its journey on Hazard's lips, breaking the black aura that almost enveloped Hazard's entire body. Slowly, the thread of light was getting into Hazard's clothes. While the birthmark that is below the navel, it reacts and forms a spiral circle as well. Then threads of light extend from the ends of the circle, meeting each other and binding around Hazard's heart organ.

The shattered black aura looked like shards of glass falling down and left behind a black fog and disappeared. Gradually, threads of light fused and entered their skin, but the birthmark did not return to its original shape.

When she regained consciousness, Yena knocked down Hazard, out of the tent. His face was all red, even to the ears.

"What have I done? Argha! You idiot!" erang Yena, then crouched down and hugged her legs. His cheeks looked red.

...

At midnight like this, no wind blows. Yena decided to look for wood around the Acacia tree that grew near her tent.

What was that? Why would I do that with a sick person? How humiliating!

Instantly her cheeks flushed again. Yena shook her head, trying to avoid strange thoughts by keeping watch, gathering wood and twigs for the campfire.

...

While in the tent. Hazard was arrested after the incident. His body is healthy again as it was. As the kiss progressed, Hazard could not do much because of his weak body, but his consciousness was not lost. It was her first experience, quite intimate with a girl. Suddenly a feeling of rage invaded. Hazard took off his jacket and walked out of the tent.

Outside there is Yena, seen carrying dry branches. A reddish tinge emerged from both.
