"Daughter? Did ya? Wh who? I don't remember anything! Sometimes I hate this situation, I miss a lot of important things!" Jim said annoyed and threw his gaze out.
"You wanna know? She's...."
"Aaaarggghhhhhhh....!" suddenly Jim held his head down.
"What's? Why?" eric stopped his car.
"My head... It hurts..."
"We're in the hospital!" Eric decided it was better to get checked out soon than it gets worse.
"No! Dah okay... Take me home!" pinta Jim's.
"Are you sure you want to go home?" ask Eric. Jim nodded and closed his eyes. His head was still a little throbbing but somehow when he closed his eyes he even imagined Rachel who was smiling and laughing. Jim did not think it out, even though he felt he had just met Rachel. It was also a few times and only chatted for a while. But it looks familiar.
*Do you believe there is a next life?
Do you believe what is destined now is our punishment in the past?
Do you believe that our destiny will end? Is it a happy ending or a sad ending?
All I can do right now is do a lot of good things, in order to relieve a little bit of karma, a little bit of pain I*.
Jim pensively stared at the words seen on his computer. At first, he opened twitter and saw the post of someone. Jim wondered why he lost his memory. Was it his mistake in the past? And now that karma is approaching him? It hurts that we never know the people around us. Plus the gazes of many who looked at him with great pity.
Jim doesn't need that. One can only entertain without ever knowing what he is going through. He seemed to ignore the closest people when he did not remember anything.
Jim pulled his hair back and brought a drink to his balcony. He looked at the stars. He laughed at his fate. Of all the people, of all his past mistakes, he was chosen to be the one to carry this burden.
'I am not thankful, God! Forgive me for all my past mistakes, ' whispered Jim. He finished his drink and put his glass back.
Jim grabbed his jacket and went downstairs. Both of his parents were watching television. He wanted to find some fresh air. Jim walked away from his house. He stopped to buy a cold drink and continued his path.
It turned out that night was very crowded. There are many young people like him along the way. Because there are many sellers on the outskirts of the road who sell at a sloping price and certainly delicious. The aroma of cooking smelled in all directions decorated with a puff of smoke. So do the loud voices of people who tell stories and laugh.
Suddenly Jim felt alone in the crowd. Only he has a gloomy face. Everyone is happy and laughing. Jim looked around him and he felt he should be looking for fresh air.
Jim continued on his way out of the hustle and bustle of the crowd. He walked down the street in a housing estate and while walking he was stunned staring at a playground that was quite spacious. There's no one there. Jim subconsciously walked into the playground surrounded by a low fence and without a gate.
Jim looked around. There are four swings, a seesaw, a slide, some tools for light exercise. Also a pond contains fine sand for children's play. The rest of the land in the park is planted with grass.
Jim sat on one of the swings and looked around him. He was no stranger to the view in front of him. Where'd he ever see this? He must have been here, but he doesn't remember a thing.
Jim woke up from his daydreams as some of the newly arrived teenagers gathered there chatting. A little distracted by the noise, Jim got up and left the park.
Once again Jim scanned his gaze across the entire park before he stepped away. He decided to go back there another time. It was like having memories there. He should be able to gather his memories back.
Jim hummed along the way. He saw an empty bottle and kicked it with all his might.
'hobby man scum!' he swore in his heart while kicking the bottle. The bottle floated quite high before it finally hit someone's shoulder!
"Ouch!" a woman complained in pain as she looked behind her and looked at Jim who was standing still frozen. Jim heard that voice but he had to convince himself first.
The woman walked closer. Jim flinched and put both his hands in his pants pocket. He was waiting for the anger that the girl was throwing.
"Youuuu!" he said while taking a swing will hit Jim with the bottle he now holds.
"Sorry... Not intentionally!" said it.
"Who? Jim's? You're Jim, right? What's in here?"
"Huh? Rachel right?" Jim ensure.
"Yes! Its me. Where are you from?"
"What a coincidence! Uhm I'm gonna go get some food. Come on, accompany me!" Jim pulled out Rachel's hand which was still holding the empty bottle he kicked.
"Eeeh but... But..."
"Udah, take it as an apology. I'll buy you, yeah. This is a waste!" Jim pulls the empty bottle from Rachel's hand and throws it into the trash can. He then pulled Rachel's hand toward the food vendor's area.
"But..."
"Why? You full? We have a drink!" said Jim.
"Not that, but..."
"Aaah, are you dieting? Yaudah is okay. Next time I'll take you,"
"I'm not that. Shoot me first!" Rachel said.
"Why?" Jim turned around because Rachel was holding his hand that was holding Rachel's hand.
"That! Sendal aq miss! You play pull!" rachel said with a red face. Jim looked at Rachel's feet. Sure enough the girl's legs now only wear the right side of the sandal only. Jim laughed loosely, then came to a halt as Rachel looked pouted.
"Sorry! Gimme it! You wait here!" Jim let go of his hand and ran to get Rachel's loose slippers. Throughout the journey the smile never escaped his lips.
Jim came back and put the sandals to Rachel's feet. Then after making sure Rachel was wearing it, they walked back.
"Your legs are still sick?" ask Jim.
"Still!" replied Rachel.
"I'm sorry if I pulled you earlier, is it still sick?" jim looked at Rachel.
"Uhm... A little bit," replied Rachel whose face turned red again. Jim smiled happily at Rachel's reddened face.
"Sorry!" jim said hurriedly as he saw Rachel glaring at his amused smiling self.
"In exchange, the treaty is double!" rachel said then sat down on one of the chairs provided by the seller.
"Who? How's double?" ask Jim who is sitting in front of him.
"First, 'cause I threw the bottle. Second, for laughing at me," Rachel said as she raised one by one her fingers until her index and middle fingers rose to show the number two.
"Haha... Okey... But..."
"Jim's? You...."
Jim turned around as a girl patted him on the shoulder and Jim gawked at the girl. Her...
