Today my departure schedule arrived, it's been since a month ago that the book I wrote and finished was revised went to one of the big publishers and it didn't take long for them to publish it because they saw a good market opportunity on the fifth book I have written. A week ahead the publisher will prepare a book launching event to be held at one of the major shopping centers in the capital.
"Is he ready?"
"Ready, Dad."
Syafina I was forced to leave to my mother-in-law, the mother of my late wife Viona, which means grandmother of Shafina. Hearing that Syafina would come to visit and even stay the mother was so happy and did not mind at all.
"Later as long as you're there don't take oma, yeah!"
"Yes, Dad."
And we left without telling anyone but Mom.
It didn't take long to get there, the distance from home to my mother-in-law's house was only about a half-hour drive away, and when we got there, it was only about half an hour, she was seen waiting for Syafina in front of her house.
After getting off the motorbike, Syafina immediately ran over to her grandmother who had not met for long.
"Eh Oma's favorite granddaughter has come."
She kissed Syafina and carried her.
"It turns out Oma's granddaughter is getting heavier."
Mother immediately told me to go inside to rest before returning to continue the journey. The schedule for the next few days was clear, including to attend some events related to the book I made.
After an hour of rest at Mother's house, I prepared to resume the long journey that had been imagined to be very tiring. I continue the journey only using a motorcycle because that's all I have right now, but besides that the bike will also make it easier for me to do activities while there.
"Honey, you don't be naughty well, don't take Oma."
"Mom, I'll take care of you."
"Yes, you're careful, later if you've reached Mom, yes."
I drove my iron horse at high speed to get to the destination faster, which is a small boarding house not far from the event venue that will take place this afternoon. I prefer to stay at the boarding house while there in order to save all expenses, at least savings and the proceeds from the royalties will further add to the savings balance for the future of my little daughter.
After a few hours of tiring travel, I finally arrived at the destination, not so difficult to find it considering I have been to this place several times. Immediately I lay myself on a soft bed that is available and neatly arranged and clean until I sleep.
Almiera Shofia Prameswary's
After a day of obligations that become routine, I can't wait to see them just to say hello. But after arriving home, it looks like his house is so quiet as uninhabited.
"To be quiet? Not usually."
I said in my heart, but I thought positively that maybe they were inside and didn't want to be disturbed by anyone. While stretching myself, I opened a social media account to just find out, maybe he had uploaded the latest status or photo that I had not seen, but it did not exist, he said, all the social media accounts he used were completely devoid of any activity from a few days ago.
"Where is he? Did I become a kangen?"
I smiled at myself imagining the events I had been through with him, it feels like what I feel is getting stronger now and I believe what I think is a taste that will end beautifully, too, but there is something that makes me a little disturbed whether I will be able to deal with it or not, but not about Ana but Syafina. That child is indeed kind, at least from all the events I have seen, I can deduce a bit about his nature, he said, not even though I see the nature of less good than just a childish nature that is still within reasonable limits.
Tired of thinking about it, I immediately got out of bed and picked up a sweater hanging from the kapstok next to the wardrobe. Maybe by spending a little time chatting with them can treat the longing that I have been enduring since. A day without seeing each other feels like so long.
After locking the front door of the house and put the key in the pocket of the sweater, with the feeling of the decks I stepped foot by foot until finally reached the small yard in front of his house.
I looked around the house that was not as usual, there did not seem to be any signs of life there. My brain started thinking back about my guess that they weren't at home. But when I was sneaking around looking at my dream neighbor's house, suddenly someone surprised me.
"Mba, what else?"
The security guard at the housing complex where I live apparently has since noticed my movements that he thinks are suspicious, even though he thinks people like me who might commit acts of theft, he said, but still for the sake of maintaining security he tried to find out by approaching me directly.
I became misbehaved when caught red-handed like this, I don't know what reason I should give so that I'm not ashamed to be caught sneaking around and peeping at other people's homes.
"If mba Mira nyari mas Angga, the person is no longer home, mba."
I'm relieved that I don't have to look around for excuses about why I'm here, but I also don't think I'm going to get any word about Angga who's not home right now.
"Owh, you know where he's going?"
"Sorry mba, I don't know, just mas Angga had gone to bring a big bag, he wanted to go long."
Hearing the statement, I immediately returned home intending to pick up the phone and contact Angga, but after the phone was in his grasp a sudden sense of hesitation began to strike, the sense of prestige began to try to influence the contents of my heart and told me to cancel my intention to contact him, but in the end I remained determined to just confirm the news of the existence of the two of them. On the screen of the phone is listed the name "Angga" with capital letters in front of it. I started to position the phone on my ear after previously pressing the button with the green phone logo. After a few seconds I finally started to hear a voice on the other end of the phone sign someone answered my call, but unfortunately it was not Angga's voice that was heard, but the woman's voice politely said "Sorry, sorry, the number you're going to is off or out of reach, try a few more moments." Once or twice the call always ended in the same voice until I finally gave up on contacting her.
Back I lay down with my head filled with a million question marks about the whereabouts of the two of them which in the end my negative thoughts appeared. My eyes began to sharpen, my lips slightly raised as I imagined that Angga was currently making out with Ana. Immediately I took back the phone that I had placed next to the pillow, I impatiently dialed the number of Ana I had saved after chatting with her while she was staying at home. It didn't take long until the sound at the end of there turned into a noise like being in a famous band concert.
"Hello."
Ana screamed a bit to compensate for the noise around her.
"Can you talk for a second?".
I tried to speak calmly and tried to control myself not to directly accuse him.
"In the meantime, I'm looking for a quiet place first."
I waited for a while for the voice on the other end of the phone to leave only Ana's voice.
"Yes, what's wrong?"
"May I have something?"
I did not directly talk to the point, I deliberately did to lift the prestige that was too high.
"Yes, what's it, Ra?"
There was little doubt back to attack, but for the sake of knowing the whereabouts of Angga, I brushed it off.
"Hhhmmm Angga is the same as you are not?"
"Female? Isn't he home, is he? Doesn't exist?"
Ana seemed to be not with Angga, evident from the tone of her speech that turned enthusiastic after I asked the whereabouts of Angga.
"Yes, Angga is not home, said the complex security guard from this morning he went with Syafina carrying a big bag of everything, because you know where Angga is now."
My intention, which initially only wanted to ask the whereabouts of Angga, instead gave information to him about Angga who is not currently at home.
After I finished finding out which end even told about their departure, I ventured to write a short message from the personal social network that we often use.
"If you read this message, please call me or give me news."
The message is sent with a check mark on it, indicating the message was sent but has not been received by the intended person. With an incident like this, I can be sure I won't sleep well tonight.
My phone is not far from the current sleeping position, waiting and hoping to get news as soon as possible from the person I miss. A minute and two had passed, changing to hours until midnight. More than ten or twenty times I reopened a private social network just to check if my message had been read by him or not, and it turns out that until the last moment everything still remains the same as one check mark in the top corner.
With a heavy heart I keep my eyes closed, waiting for the good news from him who is currently still a nobody.
