Abhimana Anga
Early in the morning I drove Syafina to meet with her Grandma after her Grandmother called and asked to meet with her favorite granddaughter, because today is a holiday I accepted her request, I don't think it would hurt if Syafina had been there all day to visit and treat longing.
I deliberately didn't tell Mira about this, let her enjoy her day off with rest. I immediately returned from dropping off Syafina, the condition of the house that for a few days had received little less attention from her master was a little messy, and today is the right time to settle down.
I returned home after taking Syafina to her Grandmother's residence. Arriving in front of the house, I saw a foreign car parked there with a young man whom I had expected to be below me or perhaps the same age as Mira, he was sitting while watching the surrounding environment. I'm thinking positively and trying not to feel jealous about her presence at Mira's house, maybe she's just a co-worker or something. Not wanting to disturb their affairs, I also entered the house to start my plan earlier, but I did not start it yet, a knocking sound was heard on the front door, from the way he knocked it seemed like the person behind it was in a hurry. I rushed to open the door and it turned out that Mira was there. I smiled as usual and asked what he needed until he knocked on the door like that. He did not explain what really happened and just forced me to go to his house to be introduced to the guests I saw earlier.
I obeyed what Mira wanted, even though I didn't understand what her purpose was. But unfortunately, my acquaintance with the man was so unpleasant, Mira lied about meeting with her two parents at that time, she did not honestly tell me everything that happened there. I was so disappointed with what happened that I left them. The previous plan I made, I left it all. With the big iron horse still parked in front, making it easier for me to leave the house, I do not want if my emotions are out of control which will only add to the complicated problems that will occur.
I left aimlessly and didn't know where to go. Until unconsciously I was finally standing in front of the house of someone who lately feels like staying away.
He opened the door that I had knocked several times before, and after seeing my whereabouts, he did not expect my presence to suddenly come without giving any news first.
"Anga?"
Ana invites me in, she feels happy but also wonders why I could suddenly visit her.
"Tumben you're here? What's up?"
"There's nothing, I just want to stop by, all through."
I didn't tell him the reason why I'm here right now, let it be a secret.
"Oh, kirain you want to take me on the road."
I just answered him with a smile, knowing that all he said was a joke.
"How are you doing, Mom?"
"Good."
Ana momentarily fell silent, trying to understand the current situation that seemed inappropriate to talk casually in jest.
"What are you really having trouble with, Mom? I just saw you like this."
With Ana's appearance like that, Ana is still a woman who might be able to understand what is going on, but my stance is still not shaky, I never want to tell my problems to others, she said, because it could be that he is also saving a much heavier problem, and telling me about what I experienced can also make the problem even heavier.
"There's nothing, I'd like to pick up Syafina at her Grandma's, so all of you stop by, haven't seen her in a long time, have you."
After some time, I was alone with him but after this I still did not know where to go, I did not want to go home for a while, while I also could not pick up Syafina so soon.
Finally, circumstances led me to this place, the place that separated me from her, with a memory and taste still stored in my chest. The place was never changed one bit, no one could ever replace it because he left not to be replaced, he was always the best even though now I have to share my heart.
Starting something extraordinary with him, from zero to a moment like this. I could never stand on my own without him.
The ground had dried up, green grass and a sprig of frangipani flowers trying to keep her cheerful, fragrant and happy. In front of him I don't want to show any sadness.
"Blessed even if you are not with me, find a new support so that when you are in the wind, his embrace will still make you survive, look for angels who can hold and carry our children from loneliness."
Those words will always be engraved. Heavy indeed, but life will continue to run according to what has been outlined, the task of humans just trying to get through everything.
Simply let go of the longing and what was in mind, now I was ready to go back to meet him. Before I had to pick up Syafina first, I promised her that in the afternoon I would come back to take her home.
On the way home with Syafina, I met her on a street near a red light heading home. The streets that were so crowded this afternoon made it easy to hide, but it turned out that he found me. I realized that on the way home, the car was always following from behind. My smile flashed behind a black helmet that hid my expression and feelings.
"Did he find me? Hopefully," I murmured inwardly as I continued to advance until I arrived at the small courtyard of the house.
Syafina went straight into the house, while I followed her from behind, but my steps came to a halt after one of the hands was pulled by him, who led me into a hug and tears of regret for what happened today. I replied to the sigh and regret that he just expressed. The heart has sincerely accepted and apologized for him, but in that moment, Syafina managed to make him cheerful again.
I do not understand, in such conditions, Syafina several times more managed to blame me for the crying that Mira let out. Mira wiped away the tears and smiled welcoming the little boy who would one day call out to her... Mother.
Not wanting to lose a moment like this, I invited them in, so that the atmosphere improved as before.
"Look in first, play it in the dalem."
"I'll make you drink first."
I left the two of them in the living room, but they caught up with me, but this time Syafina was not in Mira's arms, preferring to walk alone.
In the kitchen, Mira took my hand, stared and said... "I'm sorry." Seeing his sad face full of regret, could no longer feel to save even a little anger. Disappointment is still felt, but the goal like that is possible so that all is fine.
I clasped Mira's hand tightly, gave an answer through taste, and Mira understood. His face had calmed down again. Indeed, his smile had not expanded as usual, but it was not all because of what had happened before. The problems that will occur are not yet fully resolved, the next day we have to meet his family to introduce themselves and ask for blessing to two parents Mira for the relationship that we have been living today, then if all goes as expected then we will talk about my future and Mira's right then and there.
Mira replaced me making warm drinks as our friend chatted later, while Syafina was currently in my arms.
"Ordinary kayak?"
I nodded in response. Mira understood what kind of drinks she had to make, including for Syafina, she had several times maybe even been in my kitchen to cook or just make drinks for her own host. Maybe for Mira my house is like her own home, even though there is one room that she has never entered at all, namely my private room. Mira was reluctant to ask or just look at the room, I think it was still a taboo for her.
Finished with the drink that has now been presented on the table, I with Mira and Syafina again opened up the joy like the previous days, he said, but several times I found Mira looking blankly between her smile and laughter.
"Mas, are you really ready for everything?"
I who was not thinking about it turned to him. Mira looked at me seriously, a sign that it was not the time to speak.
"Yes, I'm ready" I said steadily. Mira's smile still showed a slight sense of doubt, but the grip of the hand might make her add to the sense of confidence that everything would be fine.
"Don't be afraid, I'm really gonna fight you."
The gentle whisper I said made her reflex to embrace me, forgetting the existence of Syafina who had somehow seen the adult scene we were doing, she said, when it dawned on me and Mira found Syafina smiling looking at the two of us.
"Eh, honey sorry aunt accidentally. Here baby, aunt hugs."
Syafina. Mira immediately hugged him with a sense of anxiety, it could be seen that he also loved him.
"Auntie love you, baby."
"Syafina is also aunty's darling."
With her small hands, Syafina returned Mira's embrace, but then there was something that made Mira and I surprised after she let go of her embrace, not expecting that little boy to ask something so heavy on both of us.
"Auntie... "
For a moment, Syafina looked at me with an unusual expression before she finally looked back at Mira.
"Syafina can call aunt Mother no?"
He plainly expressed what he wanted. I looked at Mira with my heart beating unequally, my blood heating up between tension and worry that Mira's answer did not match what Syafina expected.
Slowly Mira brought her face closer to my son, I don't know what Syafina is feeling right now. Once very close, Mira kissed Syafina's forehead so gently and affectionately, a glimmer of clear tears sliding from the corner of her eyes.
"May dear, from now on you call aunty... Mother."
Thankfully, nothing happened as I imagined.
"A little aunt wants your dad to marry a aunt, can you, right?"
Mira and Syafina glanced at me almost simultaneously, as if they were both demanding accountability.
"Dad want to marry Aunt Mira?"
Syafina who did not understand my relationship with Mira asked expectantly. I just nodded confirming Syafina's request.
"Your father would have married aunty, now aunty wants to hear you call aunt Mother dear."
Syafina smiled but still timidly finally for the first time she called Mira with a call...
"Mother."
